Appalling!! I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this firm.
From the outset, I felt that my case had not been properly reviewed. I was being encouraged to accept a deal that appeared to benefit only the prosecution, despite there being very little evidence against me. Later that case got dismissed lack of evidence from prosecution. Rather than advising me properly, I was repeatedly asked what I thought I should do. It is a solicitor’s responsibility to thoroughly assess the case and provide informed legal guidance — not rely on the client to make those decisions without direction.

There were two charges listed as being committed at 5pm on the same day, which was a significant detail that had been overlooked. If I had not pointed this out myself, it would not have been addressed. That alone made me question how thoroughly my case had been reviewed.
Communication was also extremely poor next to none actually. When I needed reassurance or clarification, it was very difficult to get hold of anyone. I often felt left in thedark and unsupported during what was already a very stressful time. In fact I was made to feel like a nousance having to keep ask for reassurance myself. When I got granted bail John decided it would be ok to output my bail in the day it got accepted he wanted me to stay in prison for another week before he would send over my granted bail.

Overall, I felt pressured to plead guilty to something I did not commit, despite the lack of clear evidence. I left feeling unheard, unsupported, and dissatisfied with the service provided. Diabolical company! I would strongly advice seeking support from SMITHS partnership! They go above and beyond to fight your corner!

Sharon was great throughout the process. There were no hiccups or last minute issues. The whole process went smoothly and at no time did i fell stressed or under pressure. I highly recommend McGregor, Mcleod solicitors and Sharon in particular.

I cannot recommend Gurpreet highly enough. She supported us through the sale and signing of two properties, and from start to finish she was absolutely outstanding. Having used this company following my mums passing there were several issues.
Mum passed in December 2022 and I got a notification from my bank on Thursday night to say a payment had been made into my bank account from my mother.
This was out of the blue and totally distressed me.
I contacted the bank and they advised the payment had came from Mcgregor Mcleod solicitor.
I have had no contact from the solicitor as towhy the payment was made
This has been traumatic for myself and my family
The solicitor should have contacted me prior to this to advise there was going to be a payment and this would have avoided the upset

Kirstie was an excellent solicitor and kept us up to date on our purchase and sale. She was great in chasing the other parties solicitors when they were being slow and she was incredibly helpful and supportive

Sharon has completed the conveyancing on 3 properties for us in the last 6 months, and she's been excellent. Quick and efficient, and good at keeping us informed on progress. Would definitely recommend, and will keep using for any future conveyancing needs
