My experience with MensPro Amarillo was deeply concerning from start to finish.
Deceptive Pricing
I was quoted $4,200 for a TRT pellet procedure I’ve been receiving for $1,200 elsewhere. Only after pointing out how absurd the price difference was did the office manager suddenly reduce the cost to $1,200. This felt manipulative and dishonest.
Untrained Staff Performing Procedures
For my first treatment, the actual provider was not present. Instead, someone who openly admitted he had never performed the procedure before was sent in to do it. The result was severe pain, bruising, swelling, and an incision that wouldn’t stay closed for six weeks.
Repeated Scheduling Failures
For my second round, I confirmed multiple times that the actual provider would perform the procedure. I was rescheduled last‑minute, reassured repeatedly, and then — once again — the provider was not on site when I arrived. A different person performed the procedure without informing me until I was already on the table.
Post‑Care Denied
The day after the procedure, I asked if someone could look at the wound or help remove the bandage. I was told they “don’t do that.” No one even looked at the wound until I insisted. When they finally did, the bandage was soaked with blood. Even the staff member acknowledged this was not appropriate post‑care.
Conclusion
I am still owed bloodwork for what I paid, but I will not return. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend MensPro Amarillo for TRT pellet treatment or any medical service requiring skill, honesty, or basic patient care.
