I ordered and received it last week. It is a stunning dress. Great Quality as pic. The style is flattering. Originally, I bought the dress in blue to wear to a wedding. The dress I ordered and the dress I received were two different qualities. The dress in the picture looked to be of much higher quality than what I got. My dress looked like it was hastily and poorly made with gems hot glue gunned on and some of the excess glue still dried in strands on the dress. They fall off very easily and that could have been avoided if they were just sewn on. The other embellishments on the dress do not look as nice or neat as they did in the picture either. I'm just disappointed with the poor quality of this dress, I won't be ordering from this site again.

I have purchased 2 dresses so far from merledress. I have to commend them on a few things, firstly their attention to detail is exquisite. Each dress is finished perfectly. I am so happy with the dresses. And again I want to thank you for the excellent service, I am definetly shopping with you guys again and recommending you to all my friends. I decided to take a chance and order online. I purchased all my bridesmaid dresses and a beautiful bridal veil from Merledress.com! They were carefully packaged and the quality was excellent. They were a rich color and were beautiful for the wedding! I do recommend for people who purchase dresses to pay the extra for the custom alterations as people have different shapes other than standard measurements. At all i was very impressed with the dress!

I've dealt with merledress twice over the course of a year. Very cute clothing and very good prices, what more could I ask for? I think they have the cutest styles, in my size. I can't wait to shop again at merle dress for less. it's probably the best online shopping website I've ever visited!

I order a dress for a high school homecoming. I received several emails giving updates saying my dress was in the process of being made and that it would arrive on time (9/20/13). When I inquired on 9/23/13 about the whereabouts of my order, I was told that my order was cancelled by Merle.They told me I could go back to the site and order again, but that's useless considering I only had 3 days until the event. DO NOT PURCHASE. They will lie and say your order is going smoothly, but will not tell you if they decide to cancel your order and you will have no time for a replacement. Horrible company.

I personally found merledress.com to be a fantastic site. I ordered a custom made dress. My dress arrived in 2 weeks & looks identical to the picture (just a different color as I requested). It was a lace & chiffon dress and the fabric is amazing quality! I think you should go ahead and order because if your experience with the Merledress is as good as mine, then I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! A cheap yet well made dress will be yours...:)

We ordered a dress for my daughter's formal. When we received the dress it looked beautiful, but it wasn't the colour that we ordered. Now the colour wasn't that big of a problem, it was still really nice. But, it also turned out the dress was made wrong and it was missing 6 cm at the top. When I contacted Merle dresses to ask them how we could resolve this, their response was that they wanted proof, which I gave them through pictures. Their response to the pictures was that I measured it wrong. Funny thing though is that I have the order form (provided by merle dresses) with the measurements that I took of my daughter and the correct measurements (mine) are stated on this order form. The dress is not made according to these measurements, it is 6 cm to small!!!! I send another email offering to send the dress back in return for my money and since then I haven't heard anything from them.
Don't get me wrong, it is a nice dress, but she simply doesn't fit it and they did it wrong. I don't think I have to explain what it also did to my daughter's stress levels in a time when they already have a lot on their plate with exams coming up. We ended up having to buy another dress, because 6 cm is to big to redo.
Their unwillingness to resolve the problem is a huge turn-off and I would advise anyone against buying from them.

I just received my dress and I seriously wanted to cry. It looks nothing like the picture and the dress is made with very poor quality. I wish I could post pictures. I had read the reviews before I purchased the dress and most of them are good. Which I really Don't understand why. The bad ones relate to my story. It's seriously a nightmare. I had to take it to get altered because the bust was way too big and the lady had to take the whole thing apart. She said that none of the stitching was done right and that a lot of her customers have came in with awful dresses from these people. What they do is they copy and paste the picture for the original designer and then they send out their version which is seriously nothing like the dress. These people should be sued they seriously have no heart what so ever to be scamming people like this. I spent way too much on a dress that I will never wear. I ended up just buying one from Dillard's since the occasion is this weekend I didn't have time to order a new one else where and it is so pretty and was only $69.00. The reason I didn't go out and shop for one to begin with is because of my busy schedule. But seriously make time for it I promise it's so much better.

NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! They don't even rate a star BUT I COULDN'T POST WITHOUT GIVING THEM ONE!!!
The quality of their work is completely unacceptable and not what is expected for the price you pay and the length of time you have to wait to get the product. The stitching was completely coming apart and the tulle on the dress was not properly cut in places on the sleeves. The quality was extremely poor and not worthy of the cost of the dress.
This is my third request for a refund on my dress that I ordered that I can not wear to my daughter's wedding. I have not received a call or a return email. I have contacted the company 6 times (3 emails, and 3 chat conversations with a manager named Kate) within the past week that is well within the timeframe of a refund request. I sent an email with pictures and the chat conversations with history that shows the manager (Kate) stated someone will contact me with in 24 hours and then again I was told someone would contact me ASAP, but as of today I have not been contacted AT ALL!!! Today I had a manager (Kate) leave my chat conversation. I WOULD LIKE THEM TO PLEASE CALL OR RESPOND WITH INSTRUCTIONS ON WHERE TO SEND THE DRESS BACK AND WHEN I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK.
If I don't get a response in the very near future I will be contacting the BBB and other sources to refute this purchase!! I recommend that anyone else with these or similar issues contact legal advise to see what you can do about getting resolution with this company. They should not be able to keep your money if you have a reasonable dispute of their product. I have plenty of documents as evidence of contact. Now my email address has been blocked and I can't get in touch with them nor can I send my latest copy of chat conversation to my email to prove we had a conversation.

I wanted to write a review because like a lot of you I was very hesitant to purchase online and from overseas. I was also hesitant as I had read some incredibly negative comments on here.
I did a lot of research and I decided to go with Merle, but mainly because I absolutely loved the dress and the price! I ordered my Evening Dress with a rush order to take 16-18 days to arrive! I live in Australia and it only took 11 days from the day my payment was received so 13 days in total! I thought that was incredibly fast delivery! I received my dress and it is absolutely beautiful! It is perfect, everything I hoped for. I gave all my measurements and the dress fits like a glove, I am excited to wear it. I would recommend this company to any of my friends and will definitely purchase again from Merle Dresses.

I absolutely love my dress!! When I had first placed my order in, I was afraid that I was making a mistake by ordering a dress online, because I have a weird body shape, but the charge free custom option was a relief. So I had talked myself into buying the dress.. then when I received the confirmation email a few days later I ACCIDENTLY MESSED UP THE COLOR OF MY DRESS! and I cried! I honestly didn't think that I was going to be stuck with it the way it was, but after I contacted the very helpful and patient and kind customer service, they helped walk me through on how to change it, even though they had already started making the dress and I am so so so extremely very thankful. I just got the dress in the mail today and it is the best dress I've ever gotten AND it was the right color! I couldn't have asked for anything better and it was a few days early too ;D

Al principio estaba indecisa sobre comprar en linea, pero al fin tomé la desición y pedí el vestido de mi graduación en merle dress, quede sorprendida con la atensión que me brindaron ya que respondieron todos mis mails, yo esperaba el vestido en 20 días pero éste llegó en 13! No tuve ningun problema, el vestido está realmente increíble, la caludad es excelente y el precio me paresió muy bueno ya que ese tipo de vestidos aquí en mi ciudad cuestan el doble, muy recomendable!
Initially it was undecided on buying on-line, but to the end I took the desición and arranged my prom dress in merle dress, I was surprised with the attention that they offered to me since they answered all my e-mails, I was waiting for the garment in 20 days but this one came in 13! I did not have any problem, the dress is really incredible, the quality is excellent and the price it seemed to me very well since this type of dresses here in my city cost the double, very advisable!

I read the reviews, did my research and thought I would give Merle dress a chance. I thought, how could they fake 300,00 Facebook likes?!?! BAD CHOICE BY ME!
Don't buy from them, they over charged me, I proved that to them and they have just refused to reply to me. The dress I ordered is nothing like the picture, it is covered in sequins instead of rhinestones and it doesn't fit. It is not made in proportion, the waist is tight as tight can be and the bust is massive.

Save you $$ and shop elsewhere! They have since deleted my facebook comments and blocked me from commenting further, this explains why there are no bad comments on there.
