Visited rothwell in Northamptonshire branch today. Toby was absolutely brilliant. Very polite and helpful. Had plenty of knowledge.

Great Building society with very helpful staff, called them today after having a few issues logging in (All my own fault) and spoke to a very helpful and charming lady who talked me through what i needed to do.

Jen, Claire and Rachel were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. All very friendly and welcoming to the branch. Supported us in opening two accounts this morning which will mature at the same time, ready for a holiday!

Went in today to the Rothwell Northants branch to close a charity account. Jenni Robson who sorted the transaction for me was so helpful and nice. A very pleasant experience hopefully might be back

Customer Service has been uniformly excellent at all points during the setup of our bond. Definitely 5 star.
Less great are the online interfaces, which are not always intuitive and occasionally a bit clunky (though they work fine once you’ve navigated them). But I’ll say it again: a great team of people.

Andy was very helpful and thorough when my mum and i came in to address my dad's accounts after he died. He showed kindness and patience with us.

Due to some health issues that are likely to be an increasing problem over time, my partner and I wanted to have the longest period of a monthly return for joint accounts that we could find, to give some financial security during what is likely to be a difficult time.
Staff at Market Harborough have been exceptionally empathetic, kind and helpful in moving our investment to a recent 5 Year Fixed term Bond, paying monthly interest.
We have never known a Company to be so flexible in effecting some changes, and done with such helpful thought, concern, thought, warmth and kindness. Truly outstanding.
If only all firms were like this in having mature , reasonable relationships between company and customer the World would be a better place. Thank you MHBS

I opened my 1st savings account a few weeks ago. I’m neurodiverse and struggle with many similar things - I’ve spoken and had support from several members of the team and all have been exceptional in knowledge, actually doing what they said they would, patience, and general attitudes. This building society reminds me of how customer care and service used to be - it really is extraordinary and I’m so pleased that I found them.
For anyone like me not great with computers and form filling etc I’m sure they will find a team and organisation happy and able to support through the necessary processes.

It was easy to set the account up as required and access it. The problem is the slow rate at which payments into it were applied. One payment over the weekend did not show up until Monday lunchtime. How much interest was lost in those 2 days?

I have recently opened a savings account. Their website is easy to navigate. I phoned their customer services for support, as there was something I did not understand. I was greeted by Emma who was very helpful, polite and pleasant and, above all, understood me. Also, I only had to wait about 10 seconds for the phone to be answered which was reassuring. It's a pleasure to save a little with MHBS.
