For the benefit of anyone reading we would like to address the points raised.

The item was delivered to the reviewer's address on 11 April 2026 at 15:13, confirmed by DPD GPS coordinates and photographic proof of delivery — independently corroborated by Google Street View imagery and a second courier delivery photograph taken at the same address four days later, all showing the identical front door, doormat and wall layout unique to the reviewer's property.

Regarding the Amazon SAFE-T ruling — the reviewer states our response is "quite simply not true." We would respectfully refer the reviewer to Amazon's written notification dated 17 July 2026 confirming that the SAFE-T claim was granted in our favour. This is a matter of documentary record and is not subject to the reviewer's opinion.

Regarding social media — we viewed publicly available posts on a public platform. This is not trolling. It is entirely lawful and the content of those posts formed part of the evidence in our case.

The County Court claim was discontinued by us solely because Amazon had already reimbursed us. Had Amazon not reimbursed us the claim would have continued to a hearing.

We wish the reviewer well.

We would like to clarify that the order was placed on Thursday and this review was posted on Saturday. Unfortunately, the shipment experienced a delay within the DPD network which then ran into the weekend.

Our customer service office operates Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, and DPD head office support is also unavailable over the weekend for us to escalate and investigate individual delivery issues. This unfortunately limited what we could resolve until the next working day.

We completely understand the frustration caused when an expected delivery is delayed and have since worked with our DPD account management team to improve the way delivery and collection issues are escalated.

We apologise that the delivery did not go as planned and appreciate the feedback.

We would, however, like to provide some important context for anyone reading this review. The original issue related to the delivery of the order, which was affected by a delay within the DPD network and unfortunately also ran across a weekend. This resulted in the anticipated delivery timescale changing and understandably caused frustration.

We take delivery performance extremely seriously, particularly when customers are purchasing high-value camera equipment. Following the issues experienced with this shipment, we raised the matter with our DPD account management team to obtain further support and review the collection and delivery process.

We would also like to clarify that when the customer ultimately decided they no longer wished to proceed with the order and requested cancellation, the order was cancelled and the refund was processed immediately from our side.

We recognise that communication is particularly important when an expected delivery is delayed. While courier issues can occasionally occur outside our direct control, it remains our responsibility to support our customers and work with our delivery partners to resolve problems as quickly as possible.

We are also sorry that the subsequent communication surrounding the review contributed further to the customer's dissatisfaction. Customers are entitled to share their experience, whether positive or negative, and our focus is on responding professionally and learning from situations where the service has not gone according to plan.

This was an unfortunate delivery-related issue rather than the experience we want any customer to have. We have continued to work with our courier partners and review our internal processes to improve communication and delivery reliability.

We regret the inconvenience caused and can confirm that the customer's cancellation and refund were completed following their request.

We sincerely apologise for the lens being shipped in another consignment. It was never our intent to disappoint you.
The main order was delivered within 24hrs however the lens was sent separately which unfortunately did not arrive within 24hrs via DPD.
The customer requested a refund of £1,850.00 before the goods were returned which we could not do.
***All items purchased would need to be returned for us to process a full refund. ***
Customer returned the order in 2 separate parcels and refund was processed same day.

We are sorry to read this feedback and would like to clarify the situation.

Delivery Commitment: Our eBay listings state “next day delivery if ordered before 16:00.” On the day in question, the order was placed at 13:32 and we confirmed by email that it should be collected the same afternoon. Unfortunately, due to a courier cut-off issue outside our control, the item was not collected that day. We accept that our communication with you at that stage caused confusion and frustration.

Resolution: The item was delivered later than expected. You exercised your right to return the purchase, and we arranged collection and a full refund at our cost, in line with eBay’s buyer protection and our own policies.

Future Customers: We meet our next-day delivery commitment in the vast majority of orders. Where an exception occurs, we are working to improve communication so customers are updated immediately rather than disappointed by courier delays.

We regret that this experience did not match expectations and thank you for bringing it to our attention. For any customer with an urgent order, we always recommend contacting us directly
