Millets - Darlington Reviews 

Went in for walking boots and was helped by a very knowledgeable and friendly member of staff to choose the right ones for me. I didn’t feel rushed and bought the most comfortable pair with a discount for being a ramblers member.
Millets is my first port of call when buying outdoor gear and I always find what I’m looking for.

Great Staff, knowledgeable, friendly. Nothing is an issue. Purchased a new Lightweight waterproof and lightweight Jacket combo. Very pleased. Oh and a nice new First Aid Kit, Cheers Jade.

Went to Millets as doing a charity walk for Mind this weekend. Staff member who I spoke to (sorry didn’t catch name) helped me pick the right products suitable for the walk and also gave a discount as it’s for a great cause. Thanks a lot for this, really unexpected. I also got great service when I was there getting backpack fitted for the three peaks. It’s my go to for anything outdoors, thanks again, great team.

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received at Millets on Saturday. James was very helpful and knowledgeable and made choosing a pair of hiking boots an easy job. I will certainly be going back to Millets for future camping related purchases.

We visited your store in Darlington today and were greeted by a helpful young lady by the name of Jude, who asked us if she could be of any assistance. We told her what we were looking for and her knowledge of the stock was fantastic. At first she helped my wife to find a suitable fleece and winter coat which she was extremely happy with and while she was paying I explained that I was also having problems finding a replacement winter fleece with inside pockets. Amazingly she found just the type of one but to my dismay it was a little too small she hunted through the stock and did find one a little bigger for me. On our way out I saw some crocks which w my wife was looking for and she managed to find them and we also bought some thermal mugs, just because a lady by the name of Jude took the time to listen and produce the items we wanted. I wish there were more like her around. Thank you so much Millets, and a very heartfelt thank you to you Jude.

I was going to buy some camping gear at go outdoors in Stockton, on a whim I checked here first. They had everything I needed at the same price or cheaper. The staff member who served me was great, couldn't have been more helpful and even recommended a camp site for me to try.

Visited Darlington Millets for assistance with tent pole issue I had after being misled in an online purchase made to rectify the problem. Have to say that I was utterly impressed with the customer service received as Julie and the team were exceptional in helping me obtain the correct pole for being able to use my tent again. Fantastic product knowledge and Julie went the absolute extra mile. Cannot thank enough! Definitely recommend and will be back again to purchase from Millets!
