Slow response to any queries, calls hardly ever picked up, misleading documents. Wouldn't use again

Finally time to thank Mitour’s and in particular Zoe for keeping in communication with us over the weeks in these difficult time’s. This helped my parents and answered any questions they and I had. We received our refund and look forward to booking our rugby tour again in the future.

Thanks for update on football tourney going to miss the 2020 Cup this year lot of fun for kids. Gutted but look forward to playing in London in 2021.

Refusing to refund a deposit claiming paid too late, despite them changing the date and all being paid before the new deadline time. Also messed us around with itinery, hence the date cahnge. Would not go near them for a rugby tour. Utterly utterly useless

Thank you for ensuring we as the customer were looked after under these awful circumstances. You provided us a full refund for our tour that was cancelled when many others we know have only been offered vouchers or deferring their bookings. Glad we booked with a honest reliable company who have looked after us.

Please do not trust this company. Understandably our tour has been cancelled because of Covid-19 but Mitour are now withholding our deposit monies. Their terms state they will only do this if we cancel which we have not as it is the venue who have cancelled.

Mitour are arguing that we did not pay our deposits on time and have therefore breached our contract. However, these were paid on the date the invoice was received.

I understand and appreciate it is hard for all businesses currently but it is also hard for families and it seems that as a company they are using Covid as an excuse to withhold money from hard working parents.

Avoid at all costs...

Our tour organiser has been in constant dialogue with yourselves and yes your deadline was the 28th and balance wasn't paid until the 2nd but the reasoning behind this was Mitour had not given our tour organiser a correct final invoice thus making the deadline null and void.

Please do not trust this company , Our tour was cancelled because of Covid-19 and they are now with holding our deposit. Their terms only state they will do this if we cancel which we have not it is the venue who have cancelled.
They are absolute rip off merchants who are using Covid as an excuse to steal money from hard working parents who placed their faith in a company who claim to have a good reputation.

Update on their reply - The invoice was paid on the same date as their final invoice was raised to the tour organizer so they continue to use any excuse they can to not refund. Just do the right thing and return our funds in full .. And to clarify they are keeping £960.00 of our money to put some clarification behind the nature of their theft.

2nd Update - Your final invoice was paid on the date you submitted it to the Tour contact , It was you who were late in sending us this final payment invoice and now you are using that as an excuse. Customers will see this for what it is and that's fraud & theft , you could choose to refund these deposit payments and be a responsible organisation but are choosing not to it's that simple.

3rd update - Having checked with a solicitor once you accepted our balance payment you lost your rights to withhold deposits paid. Had you cancelled the booking at the point you claimed we were late (which we weren't) you could of. Under no other conditions can you retain this money.

A great weekend away making memories that will last a life time. Great accommodation and great Rugby.

Excellent staff to deal with and only reason we didn't give 5 stars was that 3rd party suppliers to miTour didn't provide pre-agreed conditions

Thes people are doubling the cost of the accommodation for your children to play in a tournament. Check out the costs it works out as £1000 per side to enter because you use these people as a middle man. They may be well organised but actually phone the caravan park or Butlins to see what you could have got the accommodation for. Their profit margin is totally over the top. Only way rount it is to book in one accommodation via the Mitour to get access to the festival and the rest book direct with the accommodation.

Yes you do offer local sides the chance to join ONLY as long as there is space, you then need local sides to make a decent tournament. The players are then charged £20 per player for attending on top of other charges. The local regions send a couple of squad players because the regions have £££ for being involved. Whatever accommodation is available i suggest you check to see the usual cost of that accommodation, you will see that this firm doubles the cost of it! Its a rip off IMO its up to you all to come to an opinion of your own, but look behind the bull and work it out, this is set up to very lucrative to tjhe extent of being greedy! Check out the rices for using the accommodation if you dont go through them!!! Just phone up and ask :) and work out the maths :)

If you want to be up front charge for the bus and charge for the entry of the tournament,run the tourny, you dont do it like that because your main source of revenue is for inflating the cost of the accommodation, doubling it. You provide nothing for that as the business already exists, you just double the price for being the middle man..

Brilliant weekend. Bus trip being an hour to rugby venue each day was the only thing that any parent mentioned in a negative manor. Everything else, park site, beach, rugby teams, organisation, friendliness of staff was just fantastic.

Great organisation of Rugby tour for Farnham U15' to Holland to played one of the Dutch top teams.
Accommodation was great and situated just outside Amersfoort enabling a short enjoyable stroll into town when not playing Rugby at RC Eemland who hosted the event with enthusiasm that Rugby won out and the touring parents had a fabulous time being entertained and entertaining others.
Mitour use professional partners in the way of the Coach company and Hotels they team up with.

I took my U13 team to Cardiff and Swansea two nights and had a fabulous time. MiTour provided a excellent tour and would definitely recommend them to any sports team looking to tour. 5 stars.

Thank you for another great tour. Always contactable, always helpful and generally nice people to deal with. Hope to see you again next year!
