The printed books were amazing, just the delivery took longer than originally mentioned when the order was taken. Although, I’m not sure if the delay was with printing or delivery. Also, I would love if I can pick up my order next time since I live nearby which would save me the shipping cost.

Although quality is always great their delivery time frames are never correct so I would add a week on.

I have a print job with Mixam and they are late delivering and not returning my calls. As a self published author with books waiting to be delivered to retailers, I have missed deadlines.

You have finally got in touch through my account, but still have not given me a delivery date, just asked for more information on when my (now cancelled) book launch was.

Kept informed, easy to use web site, competitive pricing and good quality

Printing came out great (there were issues but I think they were my errors) I found understanding and navigating viewing an online proof impossible. It may be me but it didn’t seem straight forward so I had to gamble and just go straight to print. After all the work I put in to make my editing as failsafe as possible I may have noticed the flaws if I had been able to have checked a proof. Impatience on my part mainly. The issues were with page margins that I simply couldn’t get upset about at that stage after all the time I had spent. Also despite numbering my pages in the file name they didn’t seem to upload in the numerical order, this wasn’t important as there was no particular order. This what part of my failsafe layout.
I had spent so long creating the two books that the issues were not significant enough but I am quite chilled, impatient so want it yesterday. Someone else who want exact flawless results may not be as lenient.

I’d say make viewing proofs much easier, maybe to the point it’s a stage you have to go through to complete the order as navigating viewing them simply wasn’t defined for a simpleton such as myself.

The order arrived a day earlier than expected and is up to the usual high standard. although we only wanted around 150 to 200 flyers to promote an event locally, it was cost effective to order 301, as the price did not reduce for smaller quantities.

Excellent print quality.

I thought that they would essentially just print what I sent but they took the time to feedback slight changes to my pdfs to improve the finished product. Took a while for me to get used to the file upload process but in general very happy.

Mixam provide a high quality service from beginning to end. Their ordering process is easy and the advice they give as orders ae placed is useful. The turnaround from placing the order to delivery is speedy and no delivery has ever been late compared with their delivery date estimate. The quality of printing is outstanding and we will continue to use Mixam for all our professional printing needs.

I don't know, I'm pretty great

Outstanding quality and service from Mixam again! There is nowhere else that can print just a few copies of a book so well for such a reasonable price. They are so helpful and efficient as well. I will be ordering more!

Hit and miss.

Sometimes the orders are great, but this time, 25 books received spine damage and registration issues, and they need to look into the quality control.

New InDesign plug in for generating a ready to go pdf for printing. This was great.

Fantastic service and fantastic quality. We urgently needed books printed for a funeral service, having communicated this with the team they advised the printing team and sent next day delivery so that we received them in good time. Great communication throughout, books were fantastic, website easy to use. Will definitely use again and recommend.

An excellent company. Had the pleasure of using Mixam for the last four years. The quality of the printing and products are exceptional and any enquiries to customer service are always dealt with efficiently. One of the best features is the ease with which you upload files. The preview when a manuscript is uploaded is brilliant, making self publishing so easy to achieve. Communication about an order is very good and delivery is speedy also. Highly recommended.

The day I was supposed to receive my delivery in Spain I contacted you to see what was going on and was informed later on that the printing facility had put my order on hold because the document was not good enough.

1h later I sent an updated version but was told it was already printed but that it was acceptable for them… well… acceptable is quickly said and then why not print it 10 days earlier?

Result : not as good as it could have been with the version sent and had to stress until 48H before the wedding to be finally delivered.

It is your printing facility that should have contacted you immediately, to say there is a problem with the file.

Then you would have been able to contact me immediately, to tell me to change the file, which took one hour to do.

Not the other way around, me contacting you, contacting them. They should be proactive and bottom up.

The version I received, luckily on time but with stress until delivered, would have been much better, and would have arrived a week before, better, smoother, and without any stress.

Not to mention, that it is not understandable, that Mixam UK delivers to Spain, but Mixam Germany, which is in the EU, doesn’t deliver to Spain. This creates undue double taxing and customs rights for the customer. In the end, more than 1/3 of the total cost is delivery, taxes and customs costs…

I think you guys are great, but to land amongst the stars, we need to shoot for the moon, and there is some room for improvement described here I hope.
