Buyer Beware!!!!!
Lights are low quality and cheap. I've had 4 of the 12 lights I purchased stop working within 6 months after installation. Company does not stand by its product and refuses to provide replacements. Company refused to take returns after 30 days. Chandelier light I purchased was cheap and didn't look like the online photograph. But nothing could be returned as I didn't install them right away as I was waiting for remodel to finish. Company said too bad and refused to take return. Good thing as the lights kept breaking so I needed the extra lights. anyway.
All in all, just a bad experience with a company that sells cheap product and refuses to help when it breaks.

DO NOT order from MOD LIGHTING. We placed a large order, had to return ceiling plates,as they said they sent the "old" size for 4 in error. Of the FOUR we needed, MOD replaced THREE. We have been trying endlessly to get a return label for a SIXTH light we bought, glass cracked upon arrival. Many phone calls. Many emails. Always
apologetic and willing to help and after months, I still don't have a return mailing label (is this not simple?) to return for a full refund. This box is sitting here. I'm so tired of asking for return help. What to do??

4 months for one chandalier, and two sets of extension rods
**edit they refunded the third order for extension rods after I posted the review. The obviously want to give a good customer service. So that’s cool.

We ordered the first chandelier with extension rods, and it was pretty flawless in the delivery and installation. We decided to add another one to our dining room and this delivery was insane. It kept saying "shipped" and the representative would tell me "it's on its way check back in two or three days for an accurate delivery day" 2 months later and multiple calls they finally got it shipped. Only it was missing the extra rods we need to make it match the first one. They seemed almost like they didn't believe us that they were missing and after a month and a half of emailing back and forth and multiple calls to describe how were missing the extra extension rods, we finally just ordered new rods (again.)
Hopefully these gets here in the next two - three weeks and it isn't an extra two month issue.

I would think twice before purchasing…
I would think twice before purchasing anything from this company, they promised to deliver purchased lights and they did not show up even close to being on time. When they did finaly arrive, they were packaged in styrofome only. The light came from China. Not a bad thing, just misrepresented by way of their web site. They do not disclose that they have to come from China, not their warehouse in the states.

I've ordered a light for a garden…
I've ordered a light for a garden project, the light I ordered wasn't cheap ,but in stock , I've had numerous emails sent , ordered on the 1st of May, there now saying its going to be another 5 to15 days for them to give me a tracking number, which tells me they have none in stock , so they take your money and keep you waiting, so if you like a light and have a project in mind , orders 12months in advance, cannot put into words how frustrated I am , and the fact they use AI to reply to your emails , which to me is not customer focused.

Wonderful Customer Service
I had an Issue with a few of the outdoor lights that I purchased. After speaking with Michelle in customer service, this was handled right away and she followed up to ensure I was satisfied. They corrected the issue to my satisfaction so I would definitely recommend Mod Lighting.
Michelle listened to my issue and I felt “heard”. She was very courteous and professional and I appreciated her service.

Haylen Waterproof LED Wall Lights
We purchased 16 of the Haylen Waterproof LED Wall Lights in varying sizes for a house that was still in the building stages. The builder was asking for them so we had them delivered in August 2024 but they didn't end up getting installed until November. After installation of the majority of the lights, we discovered one had a defect. I knew we were well past the 30-day return window but I reached out to them with pictures. I not only got a prompt response but they had a replacement on its way to me before I knew it and it worked perfectly. I had never heard of Mod Lighting before this purchase but I'm so glad we found them. We LOVE our Haylen Wall Lights and appreciate the excellent customer service!
