Please avoid Morley Glass, terrible company

I am not at all happy with Morley glass. I had integral Venetian blinds fitted at great expense and I have had nothing but problems with them. They close completely at random no matter what I do. Chris at Morley Glass advised me that this was just something I have to live with but I cannot emphasise enough how annoying it is.
Customer service has been terrible. The ladies you speak to when you phone are really lovely but no one ever returns a phone call or an email unless you chase them. I have asked for replacement pleated blinds but have been told I can only have like for like, which I absolutely do not want.
I would strongly advise you to avoid this company unless you want nothing but hassle!

Outstanding Blind Installation Service from Morley Glass

We recently had blinds fitted to our bifold doors by Mathew and Naz from Morley Glass and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, they were professional, polite and genuinely helpful. The installation was completed to a high standard and they even tidied up after themselves before leaving. It's always a pleasure when tradespeople take that extra bit of care. We would highly recommend Mathew, Naz, and the team at Morley Glass to anyone looking for a quality, hassle free service.

Update to previous 1-star review

I previously left a review, partly out of frustration due to timeliness of response and partly due to local fitter, so not Morley Glass.
Anyway, Gavin from Morley Glass visited today and his service was excellent. He talked me through the issue and is now resolving. Much appreciated.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service – Morley Glass Truly Stand Out

It's been a long time since I experienced customer service as outstanding as that provided by Morley Glass.
I had 14 doors installed with integrated blinds operated by solar panels. Over several years, the batteries stopped charging properly. Each time I contacted Morley Glass, they responded immediately — sending fitters, replacing batteries, adjusting wiring and solar panels — always without hesitation.
Eventually, it became clear there was a fundamental issue with the original system. Without any pushback, Morley Glass took full responsibility and replaced every unit — glass, blinds, and all — with a new, mains-powered system. All I had to do was arrange the electrical supply to their control units.
In a time when customer support often feels non-existent, Morley Glass are a shining example of how it should be done. They are professional, responsive, and clearly committed to their customers long after installation.
You should be incredibly proud of yourselves — I certainly am. Highly recommended.

Faulty uni blinds

I had 11 doors and windows fitted by a local company who use Morley for their uni blinds. Once fitted it became apparent that one of the blinds didn’t close properly and one of the blinds had a fleck on it which was internal. Morley were contacted and it took them 2 weeks to send an engineer out to inspect the faulty blinds. When the engineer attended my property he removed the blind with the fleck on it without my permission and then assured me it would be a quick turn around and that they would get the replacement blind back to me by the end of the following week. This did not happen. Myself and my husband made numerous calls to Morley Glass to be told time and time again that someone would ring us back which did not happen, To cut a long story short we were left without a blind on one of our doors for over 5 weeks and the faulty window blind for the same length of time. I would definitely not recommend this company. Their customer service is atrocious

Excellent After Sales Service

We had windows fitted through another company but that were supplied via Morley Glass. We had a couple of issues with the windows and blinds and our fitting company did not react quickly and were trying to avoid the issue. Morley got involved and the whole experience changed - they sent their fitters down to do an audit on the install and recommended a whole series of remedies all of which they carried out over several visits (we are in the South Coast and they are based in Leeds!) all of which completed this week. We are so pleased with the windows, but even more impressed with their service, care and how they have handled the whole situation. Definately a recommend from me and thanks to the two fitters who were just great guys and fantastic at their job - a rareity today. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing after care and…

Absolutely amazing after care and service from engineer (called Gavin if I recall correctly).
Gavin came to check one of the blinds within my bifolds which wasn’t going right to the top of the window when blind was open.
He took his shoes off entering my house, and was polite and easy to talk with. But on top of this he went over all three blinds looking a various components. He thoroughly explained what the issue was and how it was fixed. I asked him a few other things and nothing was too much trouble for him - he wasn’t rushing to get out even though this was the last job of the day and he still had to drive to maidestone to get to his hotel!!!
He went above and beyond.
He’s clearly an asset to Morley and if I had a company he’s someone I would want representing my company!!!

Morley Glass have a fantastic after sales service…

Kevin at Morley Glass provides a fantastic after sales service and is the best company for sorting any issues. Kevin arranged for a technician to visit our home with no issue at all. I used a local company for fitting and when there was a problem Morley Glass sent out a technician to rectify it free of charge. They have thousands of customers and they have a specialist fitting team that come out to a customers home and rectify any issues a customer may have. We had an issue with the mechanism and within weeks the technician had made a visit and replaced the units. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC

Excellent product and swift service

Ordered integrated blinds for retrofitting in patio doors from Morley Glass, via our local glazing company (Northallerton Glass) but not before visiting Morley Glass. When we visited, they were really good with us, even got a technician to pop and speak to us as the glass size wasn't the norm.
Product arrived with our glazing company within 3 weeks and now fitted, look superb. Slight problem with a magnet to one pully but MG are sorting it.
Would certainly recommend

Highly recommended!!!!

I’ve just read the previous review and can’t disagree with her enough. To the point I would say it’s lies!…

I had an issue with my blinds that another company had installed. That company went bust a month later after the installation and unfortunately we discovered a few issues. I made contact with Morley Glass and I can HONESTLY say that they have been amazing helpful!…which is why I whole heartedly disagree with the previous review.
All the guys where very friendly, helpful and very thorough!
I can’t recommend them high enough to be fair and thank them all for their help!…

Technical terminology expertise required for this company!

Product sold by this company are good. Shocking customer service! I work for a glazing company and wanted to order magnetic pulley sliding blinds. I emailed the company at least 6-7 times to ensure I was filling the correct form. Lo and behold as I didn’t use the internal company word for describing the blind system the incorrect form was submitted. I now have to pay for a replace my set of glass (£1000) for my boss-as I filled in the wrong form. Speaking to the supervisor was told wasn’t their problem as I didn’t call it the correct name. Make sure if you want to order any products from this company, you receive training for their internal teminology or you may be out of pocket!!! Or better still go somewhere else! 👍

Excellent company for your integral…

Excellent company for your integral blinds. So glad I chose them. Fast, efficient and friendly. Updated me from the time the order was placed and the driver rang half an hour before delivery to say on his way. Would definitely recommend and buy from again.
