I am in general quite pleased with Mothercare Hull . The only thing that I am complaining about is the courier they use .. I ordered a 3 in 1 pram bundle and spent a thousand pound in store quite happy with the things I have purchased. It arrived today in 5 packages but package 4/5 were missing .. I called yodel who I believe are representing Mothercare as they are delivering there products to there customers .. I got through to the delivery driver after an hour of messing around on phones and live chat only to be told I was lying and to go get fooked and to ring somebody who gives a shitte .. I will be returning the goods back to Mothercare and getting my thousand pound back and as long as Mothercare continue to use yodel I will never use Mothercare .1 star because of there representatives ..shame

Never bothering with mothercare again. So upset.
Beyond disappointed. Dont go looking for maternity wear. The whole experience just ruined my day. Remarkable really that whoever designs their maternity range could get it so wrong. Somebody or potentially and entire department needs sacking. Feel like whoever designed and pattern cut these garments has never EVER been pregnant. Thanks for making me feel deformed.

Mother Care Store Nottingham Castle…
Mother Care Store Nottingham Castle Meadow:
What an absolutely terrible terrible customer experience which could have been so much better. I am hardly surprised that Mothercare are looking to close so many of their stores nationally...With such a poor, rude, unhelpful store staff I am not surprised that consumers are moving to online to make their purchases. Upon requesting to pick-up a child seat bought online via the Mothercare website I was told that even though the store had EXACTLY the same item in their stockroom that I had just purchased online with Mothercare that I was unable to collect the item as it was coming from a different supply and would affect their stock systems (what a wonderfully customer focused experience, NOT). The shop Duty Manger Julia was rude, unhelpful, 'Computer says no' attitude and it was quite possibly the most horrible retail experience I have had over the past ten years. When my queries and concerns were raised to Store Manager Christine I received and equally unhelpful negative response which was followed by a 'Cant help as its our own internal process and I would be breaking the law'...What Law? The Mothercare Law??? As I type I realise absolute irony of their brand name...they should be called Mother No Care. Anyway my shocking customer experience has resulted in me cancelling my order and or now purchasing the same product online at Uberkids.com who have been brilliant. Good bye Mothercare Retail, Hello online who are most definately focused on the customer experience.

I received the worst customer service…
I received the worst customer service at Mothercare store in Aberdeen. I’m a first time mum and thought that going to Mothercare would be the best choice to receive guidance and advice in respect of their various products. I initially went into the store to purchase a pram. I asked about the Silver Cross pram range. The member of staff was completely inexperienced, had very little knowledge about the differences between the various models and provided me with incorrect advice based on which I then purchased a pram model which was unsuitable and which I later had to return and exchange for a different model. She also failed to tell me that the car seat which came with the pram required to be fitted and tested in my car to confirm it was compatible. All of this was very new to me as I am a first time mum and I was relying on guidance from Mothercare. I ended up purchasing the wrong pram, the wrong car seat and then had the hassle of having to return and exchange all the items. I then faced another problem when I returned to the store to select the correct car seat. I selected the Cybex Cloud Z i-Size and Base Z car seat. Mothercare informed me that my car did not appear on the list and told me to contact Cybex to confirm that the car seat had been tested and was compatible with my car, they told me to return to the store again with confirmation from Cybex anytime and they would fit the car seat in my car. I contacted Cybex and obtained the relevant confirmation. I was told by Cybex that the reason my car is not showing up on the list is because my car is an i-Size vehicle, therefore any i-Size seat is compatible and it is something that Mothercare should be well aware of. I returned to the store few days later with email confirmation from Cybex only to be told by the Manager at Mothercare store that they would not be fitting any car seats that day. I explained that I specifically travelled to the store. She was present previously and was aware that we would be returning with confirmation from Cybex to have the car seat fitted. The Manager eventually agreed to fit the Cybex car seat in my car which unfortunately did not fit the car but then refused to do any more car seat fittings to try a different car seat, telling me that I would have to leave and return again on a different day, despite there being 3 members of staff and store was quiet. She offered no apology or recognised the inconvenience on having to return to the store on so many occasions - it should not take 3 separate visits to the store to purchase a car seat! If she had informed me the first time I was in the store that I would have to book an appointment to come back to have the car seat fitted, I would have been more than happy to do so. But she was there the first time and told me that once we have confirmation from Cybex we should come back anytime and they would fit the car seat. The service received was shocking and members of staff demonstrated a clear lack of customer understanding and lack of product knowledge. I left the store and went to John Lewis in Aberdeen where I received excellent customer service and staff demonstrated excellent product knowledge – they told me all about the various car seats, fitted them in my car and I purchased a suitable car seat all within an hour! Mothercare completely wasted my time, caused a lot of inconvenience and at 32 weeks pregnant I do not have the energy or time to keep returning to a store about the same issue/one purchase! I will not be buying anything from Mothercare again, will not recommend them to anyone and will go to John Lewis for all future purchases.

Poor customer service for online orders
I have recently had a poor customer service experience with Mothercare. Ordered a wooden play kitchen for my daughter online, with a 3-5 estimated delivery date. Delivery dates came and went, only when I phoned up did I find out that the item was out of stock when I purchased it and I wouldn't be receiving it. No effort was made to notify me that the order had been cancelled or any attempt to return my money. This not only meant that I was pointlessly waiting at home for three days, but I am still waiting for notification that a refund has been processed.
This has resulted in much disappointment and inconvenience, as I had purchased other kitchen accessories to go with my order, which I will now need to return. This is the second time Mothercare have let me down with failure to provide items. I am never going to be using mothercare again for big purchases.

WORST customer service I have ever…
WORST customer service I have ever experienced!!!
My order was lost, I tried the live chat twice, being disconnected by the agent in both occasions.
When tried to call, was informed that the items had been lost and they could not be replaced because they were out of stock. Was told to wait 5 more days for someone to help me.
When I insisted in sorting it out on the same day, a VERY RUDE attendant was denying helping me for more than one hour, after 1 hour and a half, I managed to have the items replaced, but not before being bullied and victim of a very rude and unhelpful attendant who kept saying that she was "spending more than one hour helping me", like it was my fault that the items were lost.

Teddy redeemed my shopping experience - thank you
I went into the Mothercare in Edmonton and would like to thank Teddy for her amazing customer service. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very polite. She made my trip worthit. I was about to leave Mothercare a disappointed customer when I was first told by one of the members of staff that the pram I wanted to purchase was not in stock and I had to order it. This was him without even checking on the system, so my guess was he either had a customer ask about the same product and had already looked or he was too lazy to check on the system or the back for stock. I can tell you it's the latter because when I enquired about the same product to a different member of staff, there were 5 in their stock room. His attitude made me doubt his response which prompted me to ask someone else. Anyway, fortunately I came across Teddy who redeemed my overall shopping trip. I would have given Mothercare 5 stars if I hadn't encountered the first gentleman's worthless customer service.

Recently I purchased a collection of…
Recently I purchased a collection of items at Mothercare in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol.
The staff there and in particular the manager Rory simply could not have done any more to accommodate me.
As it happens, I had some issues with the head office, which has now been resolved and was nothing to do with the Bristol branch. It was a great source of frustration and annoyance, but it was only through Rory’s hard work and tenacity that this was eventually resolved.
The frustration I had with the company were reaching fever pitch and I suspect they’ve no idea just how much Rory has saved their skin.
Having spoken to others who bought from
that particular store, it’s a recurring theme, the company has lost its way, but Rory’s endeavour makes them want to keep coming back.

I want to give a shoutout to Taryll of Mothercare Wood Green. He was so caring and had plenty of patience yesterday when I came to the store to collect a repaired pushchair and ran into some trouble regarding it. He gave up an endless amount of time and I really felt that he took my case to heart and did everything he could to make it a pleasant experience for me. I wish him much luck in the future!!! Look out for him next time you shop there...!

Will Never Order From Mothercare Again
They refused to return some items we bought online because currently the items are on sale and we bought them while they are not on sale. What a scam!!. I bought 3 sunglasses for my kids with £18 and now they want to return then with £2!!. They have this regulation hidden in their terms and conditions which nobody reads. I will not order from then again
-------
[04-09-19]Med: this is not what your employee advised us and she insisted that she cant return the full price. The items was not used and the return period is less than 30 days by that date. But by now the 30 days have already passed.
It's your responsibility to train your staff well and it's better if you send that link to your staff so they could know the roles.
Kind Regards
Med

I would like to thank Loraine and Amanda from mother care Outlet in Wakefield. They were very imformative and helpful. As a new mother, I did not have much experience in buying push chairs. They listened to my needs and advised appropriately.

Mothercare Solihull
I have always had a good experience when shopping at any Mothercare store. The staff are always incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and provide unbiased advice without pushing for a sale. Most recently, Amy H of the Solihull store went over and above to assist with an issue I had with my car seat and saw the query through from start to end and ensured we had an adequate resolution to our issue.
