Information provided by various external sources

Since 2002, MotorcycleCloseouts, L.L.C. has offered discounted and closeout motorcycle and ATV apparel, parts and accessories to the public over the Internet and through our retail store in the Kansas City metro area. Our goal is to be able to discount our closeout items at least 30% off of published retail prices, but we get really excited when we can offer discounts of 50% or more. Visitors to our retail store pay the same low prices seen here on our web site. As a word of caution, not every item shown on our web site is available at the retail store every day, so it’s a good idea to call ahead if you are searching for a particular item. Our products are first quality and carry the same manufacturers' warranties as if they were sold in your local motorcycle dealership. Closeout items are not blemished or defective items; they are simply overstocked at the distributor or perhaps previous year models. Closeout items are available for return or exchange, just like current models. We keep our prices down by buying in bulk and keeping our overhead low, while offering high-quality products and providing exceptional customer service. If you would like assistance selecting your gear, please email help@motorcyclecloseouts.com or call us to discuss your needs. We have real riders and racers on staff to help.

They care

Here for the riders who are not wealthy enough to buy safety gear at the original high cost. They see"is" as family,. Not a dollar sign. I prey this business never goes away. Because of them i can wear the proper safety gear that will save my life.

Bad customer service, slow shipping.

I made two orders from my household. One was for my son’s birthday and one for myself. The order for my sons birthday was placed and after 5 days of it not shipping we reached out to cancel it because it would come after his birthday, the company would only cancel it with a restocking fee. They didn’t even ship it yet but charged me a restocking fee because they could.
I made an order for myself… after 7 days of it not shipping I reached out because the shipping policy says 3-5 days. When I called they then said they would ship it promptly. They did ship it but it was only a week after I placed the order.
Slow shipping sucks but that isn’t what I’m mad about. I’m mad because they charged me a restocking fee for an item they did not even ship.
To be clear, on the phone we asked them to not charge a cancellation fee on the item for my son because they hadn’t even processed the order yet, and…. It was beyond 3 days since we placed the order and they still hadn’t shipped it. They charged us the $15- $20 anyway.
It was due to their own poor business practice that I had to cancel the order, and they charged me for it. Not cool.

am honestly so impressed with this…

am honestly so impressed with this jacket.

The fit is exactly what I was looking for — it’s fitted and flattering without feeling restrictive. It gives that clean, feminine biker look while still feeling like real protective gear, not just something for style. The leather feels high quality and soft, but still durable enough that I feel confident wearing it on the bike.

I love that it comes with armor included, which makes it feel like a complete piece right out of the box. The overall construction feels solid, and the detailing gives it a slightly edgy look without being over the top.

It is definitely a more fitted jacket, so you won’t be layering a bulky hoodie underneath — but that’s exactly how a proper riding jacket should fit. With a t-shirt or light layer, it’s perfect.

Overall, this jacket feels like the perfect mix of style, comfort, and protection. It looks amazing on, and more importantly, it makes me feel confident and safe when I ride.

Highly recommend 🖤

Crazy low prices

The prices for the items I purchased was so crazy low. Was not in any hurry for the products, so shipping quickly was not an issue. Although the shipping was pretty slow for 3 pair of MTB gloves (That's why I gave it a 4 star rating)
Would absolutely buy from them again!

I never got my order

I never got my order. I got a nasty message about talking negatively about this company on a review so they cancelled my order. I removed the comment and told my friends and wife about the site. They all cancelled there orders. I’ve never been contacted about how I apologized and left a wonderful positive comment. I have tried now 3 times to order and all 3 were cancelled. I’ve passed the word on my social media groups to stay away from you. Sorry but I’ve never been treated so poorly by any company. If I could of I would have left negative stars.

I ordered a helmet and it came with a chip on the back of it. I was nervous I was going to play hell trying to get a replacement but within the same hour that I sent an email, I had a response saying to field destroy the helmet and they sent me a new one quickly with no hassle. I've ordered boots before from this place and have no complaints then either. Great website to get good stuff cheap. Definitely recommend. Great customer service.

Buyer Beware

Buyer Beware – Motorcycle Closeouts

I strongly urge customers to be extremely cautious when ordering from Motorcycle Closeouts.

If you purchase a garment, helmet, or any item that runs inconsistently sized and rely on standard sizing charts, understand that you will likely be responsible for paying return shipping — even when the item clearly does not fit as expected.

I have ordered numerous items from this company over the years without issue. However, the one time I encountered a legitimate sizing problem, they refused to take responsibility and would not cover return shipping. That level of customer service was disappointing and unacceptable.

A company’s true character is shown when there is a problem — not when everything goes smoothly. Based on my experience, Motorcycle Closeouts does not stand behind their customers when issues arise.

Because of this, I will not be doing business with them again, and I encourage others to carefully review their return policies before purchasing.
