What a day tour to North Wales with Mountain Goat !!! Money well spent. Mark, our driver and tour guide deserves 11 points out of 10 !!! He make the day so much enjoyable despite the heavy traffic we were in due to Bank Holiday Monday and the fantastic weather. Next time we will book with Mountain Goat again..... Manchester to North Wales Tour
We went from Manchester to North Wales! The tour was very well organised, I appreciated the fact the tour gave very clear instructions on the departure point. Our guide, Mark, was very knowledgeable, clean and a gem with his jokes. If I am in Cumbria county, I would suggest Mountain Goat for a great time tour!

Fabulous and Fantastic
We had an absolutely fabulous day out with Tony, our guide and driver. Tony was friendly with a wonderful sense of humour, he was very knowledgeable and very interesting to listen to. Tony’s driving skills were superb, especially since he’d never taken his test (his sense of humour!). Several times, when the road narrowed, all we could see was a drop and no tarmac, but we didn’t worry. The trip we went on was the Full Day:
High Adventure: Mountain Passes and Muncaster Castle. Worth every single penny. Highly recommend.

The beautiful Yorkshire Dales
We really enjoyed our tour of the Dales with Bob. He was very knowledgeable & humorous. He was also an excellent driver down the narrow roads! I thought it was a good overview of the Dales with fit’s gorgeous scenery and the character & history of it’s people.

A Wonderful Day Exploring “All Creatures Great & Small” Country
We had a wonderful experience with Mountain Goat Tours on their “All Creatures Great & Small” tour. We traveled in a comfortable Mercedes Sprinter van that held about 12 people, which made the experience feel personal and relaxed.
John was our tour guide, and we thoroughly enjoyed him. He shared so much interesting information about the Yorkshire Dales, the local villages, the filming locations, and the history of the area along the way. His knowledge and personality really added to the experience.
The tour lasted all day, but honestly, the day flew by because we were enjoying ourselves so much. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and visiting the filming locations from “All Creatures Great & Small” made the experience even more special.
This tour became one of the highlights of our trip to England, and we would highly recommend it to anyone who loves the show or simply wants to experience the beauty and charm of Yorkshire.

We did the mountain passes tour which included muncaster castle and the infamous hardknott and wrynose passes. Tony the driver was extremely informative and friendly. We went to the Falconry and Owl show which was excellent and had lunch which was really nice. This is a demanding and challenging route but at no stage did we feel unsafe and Tony handled the bus with expertise. Would thoroughly recommend

This was the 2nd Mountain Goat tour I did in 3 days, again this tour was very good and allowed me to get to remote and stunning parts of the Lake District that I could not have got to otherwise. The scenery was lovely and the tour covered a very large area. The Tour guide Tony was very good, he gave us lots of interesting information about the area and we all felt totally confident with his driving around some very narrow, steep and winding mountain roads which were spectacular.

Viva la GOAT.
Yvonne liked her tour very much.
Driver was very helpful, assisting with her disability stroller and providing a very fine commentary 👌.
Yvonne feels that she could easily have made use of more time at Muncaster Castle, but coped . Driver
Dropped her off at her Camp site which saved her either a bus from windermere or a walk from the pier.
However, Yvonne is coeliac and specifically booked gluten free, this was NOT forthcoming .

Peter was wonderful!
It was my mistake that I thought this tour included a visit to Hill Top. Sadly, I was not the only customer on board who also thought it did.
The "World of Beatrix Potter" was extremely dispointing.
The tour did not dispoint. Peter was a joy! Peter's knowledge and love for the Lake District was more than evident and appreciated. The beauty and grandeur of the Lake District were beyond what we expected. I learned so much that it made me wish we had more time to explore the Lake District. Thank you, Peter for a wonderful afternoon!

Worth every penny!
The wit and wisdom of our tour guide, Tim, was brilliant - as was his driving in some tight and hair-raising situations - and the Lakeland scenery was fantastic.
This was a last minute choice for 'a day out' and it was worth every penny.
