Really bad experience with Movavi
I’ve had a really bad experience with Movavi. I wanted the screen recording version when I bought my subscription, and chose only that one. Then they charge me for the editing version too. When I contacted them I was meet with a “well that sucks” attitude. And was told they wouldn’t refund me because it wasn’t in their refund policy. I’ve now spend a lot of time trying to get my money back. I won’t pay for something that was their mistake.

Excellent solution for fast video and sound editing
I’m a college professor who teaches digital art as well as an instructional designer, and I’ve used Movavi for years to produce both personal and professional videos. Its biggest strength is how fast and intuitive it is. I’m fully trained in After Effects and Premiere, but for many projects—simple edits, titles, intros, and outros—I don’t need the complexity or setup time of those tools.
Movavi streamlines my workflow dramatically, especially when I’m producing large batches of tutorial or online‑course videos. It makes editing both audio and video quick, efficient, and frustration‑free, which is exactly what I need in a fast‑paced teaching and content‑creation environment.

Awful, pricey, and misleading.
Awful. I tried the free video editor and guess what, you need a subscription to export anything over 1 min long. "Good for YouTube" my ass. Maybe for shorts, but nothing of substance. I edited a whole entire video, about 30 mins long OG was 1 hr 20 m, and had to pay for a subscription just to export it. I was told it was free to export and great for YouTube. F this company, F their software, and I hope no one falls for that complete BS. I created an account here literally just to say this.

For longer videos, the full version of the program, which has no limitations, is better suited.

I signed up for a month trial which…
I signed up for a month trial which cost 23 dollars after I had already fully edited a video and only payed because I was so frustrated to spend hours editing a video to only be told after trying to render it you need to purchase the full version, that's not where it gets worse. A week later I was charged 51 dollars for a subscription pack I never even signed up for for effects. Such a scam. Do not use

If the customer has added "Effects" to their order, the cart will indicate that "Effects" is a separate product and that it will only be free for 7 days, after which the next month's "Effects" subscription will be charged.

I had a technical issue. The program stopped importing new pictures in the middle of the project. I contact the support team via e-mail. The response was fast and accurate. It solved my problem.

Misleading Free Trial and Poor Customer Support
I purchased a one-year subscription that was advertised as including a 7-day free trial, but I was charged immediately. When I contacted Movavi, they told me they could not do anything about it.
Since I paid through PayPal, I opened a dispute. After that, Movavi emailed me stating that if I did not cancel the PayPal dispute, my account would be blocked. I did not respond, and PayPal ultimately sided with Movavi.
As a result, my account was banned and I lost access to software I paid for a full year to use, after only about two months. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. Their customer service was extremely disappointing.

Kindly note that the "7-day free trial" option when purchasing the program only applies to the "Movavi Effects" subscription (which gives access to all premium stickers, titles, transitions, etc.), and not to the main program Movavi Video Editor.
Please also note that if the PayPal dispute was not resolved in your favor, your license to Movavi program was not blocked in any way. You still have access to the program and can use it for the entire paid period.
We would like to investigate this PayPal dispute as thoroughly as possible. If you have previously contacted Movavi support, please update your review by indicating the ticket ID issued to you by our support team so that we can find your request.

Fraud or extortion?
I subscribed to Movavi last year. Used it for a few weeks. There was nothing exciting nor creative in their software. I found it quite primitive if you compare it to the modern time softwares. Then 1 year later they automatically extort me again. I emailed and asked for a refund as I didn't click on the auto renewal when subscribing. The refuse to refund the money they stole from me. This is extortion. Be carefull with this company!
Regarding your response, I've already been talking to the support team for a week (4-5 correspondence incoming and going) and support team still insists keeping the money they extorted from me. As you say, you make the auto renewal on as default. So, this is 100% your responsibility. #9062904 is the ticket number.

Lag between audio and video
I have used Movavi for around 4/5 years now, and I used to love it. But I am really disappointed in a recent upgrade, which causes a lag between the video and audio when editing. This makes it really difficult to tighten up what has been said and also to put clips in time to any music

Terrible Accessibility
The worst accessibility I've ever witnessed in any video editing app, and I've been using them since 2016. What do you mean I have to restart my entire laptop because the "close pop up" button was off screen and it wouldn't let me move the programme to centre screen or full screen it BECAUSE I DIDN'T CLOSE THE POP UP IT WOULDN'T LET ME CLOSE.
Also why in all of the gods we've ever created would you PURPOSELY create a file type no other app can use and default it to that project type file creation any time it's exported instead of, oh I don't know, MP3 or 4 as is standard.
