Excellent service as always

Excellent service as always and the guys and girls I have dealt with have been nothing less than stellar. It's this kind of service that creates complete trust in MPB for me personally. This may seem as if I'm over egging the pudding so to speak,but not once have I ever felt let down,not by anyone I've had contact with within the company. Highly commendable,every single time.

Last July

Last July, I sent an unused, unopened Pentax camera to MPB to sell. Upon receiving and examining the camera, they revised their initial quote and noted the camera would be returned. It's now June, and I have neither received any payment nor had my item returned. I've tried a couple of times to contact them, but I always receive a mail delivery failure message despite forwarding from their previous emails. Don't trust these people!!!

First Class

Sold some spare gear, uploaded details and was offered a good price.
Had a few technical issues my fault but MPB couldn't hve been more helpful
Organised shipping (free) collected from home on a day of my choice.
They recived the items and two days later I got an email saying on inspection the offer had gone up.
I accepted and the money was in my bank same day.
There honesty in increasing the offer says it all.
I've purchased items from MPB and always been happy, this was the first time selling and probably won't be the last, the whole process was smooth and simple.

The products are exactly as described. It gives me peace of mind knowing they’ve been thoroughly tested and work well. I also love that they include actual pictures of the items you’re interested in.

Very disappointing experience with MPB.

Very disappointing experience with MPB.

On April 27, I sent my equipment to MPB as part of a trade-in deal. My gear was evaluated and accepted:

Sony E 70-350mm f/4.5-6.3 G OSS — 411 €
Sony ZV-E10 — 350 €
Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS — 27 €

In exchange, I was supposed to receive:
Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 for Sony FE (739 €)

MPB also owed me an additional refund of 49 € after the valuation difference.

However, after many weeks, I have received neither the lens nor the refund.

What is most concerning is the constant delays and contradictory explanations:

“Sorry for the delay”
“I was not working those days”
“We forwarded the case to accounting”
“The IBAN is invalid”

The strange part is that the “invalid” IBAN is exactly the same IBAN previously used successfully for another MPB order a few months ago.

Now they claim that their Fraud and Security Department contacted me, but I never received any email from them, including in spam folders.

At this point, I no longer know whether this is incompetence or something more serious. MPB has my equipment, but I still have neither the purchased lens nor the money owed to me.

Very stressful and disappointing experience.

MPB Purchase & Refund Policy

Stress free buying and selling.

Having bought a few times, sold a lens once, I can say it is a totally stress free experience. Items are accurately described. I am considering selling a camera to them soon as simply not using it and it's a waste of a perfect camera. They do have a few in stock so I may wait a while before getting a price. But I know it will be an easy transaction. (Date of experience just an approximation.)

Inflated estimate and battery disappeared

Their website estimated my camera at around €400 more than what they finally offered after inspection, despite it being in good condition. The whole process felt like a bait-and-switch tactic designed to lure sellers in with inflated estimates before heavily lowballing them once the equipment is received. On top of that, they disposed of my second battery without informing me or asking for approval. Communication was vague and frustrating throughout.
