Gold standard in regards to Customer…

Gold standard in regards to Customer Experience

Quality of the clothing is top notch. Both the shorts, cords (recent purchase) and sweaters. Returns are easy and paperless. And the refunding is done within 2 or 3 days. As I said: this is the gold standard when it comes a premium Customer Experience.

Disappointing customer service

Ordered from Mr Marvis before and the order went fine and shorts were great quality. Just ordered two pairs of swimming shorts in size M. Very quick delivery but unfortunately there was a mispick and my package contained one pair of size XXL shorts (not swim shorts). Confused at how this has happened - different item, quantity and size makes me wonder what kind of controls are in place at picking and how this could have happened. But nothing that can't be resolved with some good customer service. This is where I was left very disappointed - I've now had to arrange a return for the mis-picked item through their portal, send it back, wait until they have received and processed the return for a refund for two products which I never received. I also can't get the correct products sent out until the wrong one has been received which means they wouldn't arrive in time for my holiday. The customer sales rep was incredibly unhelpful and just told me retailers don't refund before returned items are received. My wife and I both work for retailers and in this scenario both the companies we work for bend over backwards to make amends to customers and correct their order. The experience has left me not wanting to order from Mr Marvis again so I've bought different swimming shorts from somewhere I feel has more reliable customer service and fulfilment and still waiting for a refund of my money for products which I never received. Really disappointing and for an order of almost £180, certainly not the service you'd expect

We are sorry to hear that you received the wrong product, that should of course not be the case for which we apologize.

Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that the wrong items are picked due to our warehouse being automated and the item having the wrong product tag. The tag will be adjusted when the product arrives back at our warehouse.

We try to process returns as soon as we receive the parcel back at our warehouse and regret that hear that you did not receive your refund yet. In this case you may always ask our customer support for an update regarding the return.

Very fast delivery

Very fast delivery, good material, as advertised.

A minor point for consideration:
This pair of trousers (deeps) has one button at the waist and not two clips. The button closes rather stiff.
I believe it is at the wrong side (left), it should be on the tab (right)- if you want a button.
But I prefer two clips, as in my other model (cords)
