A school that is terrible

Since there is no review here I thought I should add!
I have flown here some time and it is pretty shit.

The instructors I have flown with (Mohand) is terrible, every day it is a different rule and I’ve never met anyone so rude and unprofessional. We spend the first 30 minutes of the flight on the ground with the engine running whilst he challenges me about technicality that could have been done before the flight. HE IS A BULLY and has been reported for his conduct with atc allegedly I have heard from a student from another school who heard an argument with Granada atc. He all the time complain about the other student and how terrible they are but does not understand it his job to teach.

The other instructor Jorge is more interested on his phone than teaching, I asked him questions about the run up and checklist and he just does it all himself skipping half of the checklist and rushing me into the air so he can watch TikTok’s and message friends sooner. He just want the hour to build up so he can leave.

The cost: I was quoted one price and got charged another price 35€ MORE per hour. Over time this will affect the total you pay. I talk with boss about this he said it because one plane use more fuel (only 1gallon more per hour) so about 12€ more not 35 it is a scam.

There is 2 planes, one fpq is good but with a 110kg instructor and me it was overweighted if you have more than 1/2 tank and dangerously slow.
The other plane is a shit but fast.

The boss is a bully as well in the group he will be extremely rude and bully openly students.
He is never there because he lives 2 hours away and I heard from someone he used to allegedly be a mechanic at and Cristina ( administrator) used to be a part of fly in Spain a company that closed down leading to students out thousands of Euro.
I am Spanish so I can clearly listen how speak and I’m embarrassed how this place talks about other students especially from other parts of Europe, there is no respect and this is one of the reasons why I have left and went to another schools and got my license.

Bad experience

MRO Aviation's website says: "Recognition of prior hours: We validate flight hours completed at other EASA or UK CAA approved schools to accelerate your training."

For various reasons, a Spanish flying school that accepts hours from UK CAA approved schools would be an absolute godsend to me, so I was very excited and immediately made contact over the weekend using the whatsapp number provided on MRO Aviation's website (I was later informed that this is the owner's number and contacting them via their website had interferred with his owner's leisure time at the weekend). The owner responded immediately and enthusiastically on Saturday evening as follows:

Owner: Hello!!
Owner: Tell me what you need
Me: ppl training
Owner: Could you write to the admin responsable on Monday?
Owner: From 9am Monday it's ok
Owner: We will help you

So I got in touch with the receptionist Cristina describing my circumstances in detail and asking her to confirm the school can accept hours from UK CAA approved schools and she sent me a detailed quote for training amounting to 3,845,00 euros including 2,460 euros flight time, 500 euros ground school, 315 euros written tests, 170 euros for the skills test, 300 euros for the theory access, and 100 euros for admin. and requested my training records. At this time, both the owner and the receptionist appeared to be ready to take my money and admit as a student.

However, having been burned more than once in the past, I repeated my request to Cristina to confirm the school accepts hours from UK CAA approved schools. After several prompts she told me they do not. Disappointed, I drew her website to her attention, which clearly states that UK CAA hours are accepted towards the EASA license at this school, and asked her to confirm the school's website is wrong. She refused to confirm either way.

So, still hoping the school's website was correct, I contacted the owner again, and this is where the conversation started going wrong. I'll reproduce it here for you to judge for yourself, bearing in mind the school had already provided a quote and requested my training records at this point:

Me: I asked Cristina to confirm this claim is true, and initially she ignored the question, but after pushing several times she now says the claim is wrong. If she's right, this is extremely disappointing, and, with respect to you, I would strongly suggest you change your website so it doesn't make this false claim. Please let me know definititvely, will you accept hours obtained at UK CAA approved schools or not?
Owner: I will check later
Owner: Travelling
Owner: Regards
Owner: I will check now with Cristina but we are so so full and maybe we are not interested

At this point I get back to Cristina who confirms they have availability from the 23rd March, just 3 weeks away, so it didn't sound like they were too busy for me, especially given I only need about 12 hours training.

Owner: Hello Alex, I wa' checking the booking, and all the thing we have. Sorry mate, but I can't I can't provide you the thing you need now. Not because we can't do it. We CAN do it. But actually we are full, and don't have space for another guy. I'm sorry about that, but you need to go to another school.
Me: Cristina said you're free from the 23rd March. Shall we proceed?
Owner: No sorry, we will check it together, and it's not possible.

The conversation continued a negative manner and the owner of the school ended up saying "You are silly." and "Of course I wasn't wrong not to pick you up, that's for sure." and "It's my business, it doesn't matter what Cristina says, I decide".

The owner then started sending me unsolicited messages including videos of the club's aeroplanes narrated in Spanish. I think this was to convince me they are busy.

My experience suggests to me that there is inconsistency between what Cristina says, what the website says, and what the owner decides on the spur of the moment.
