Like all customers, you never know who is going to be on the other side of the phone when you call. And i am sure we all have horrors stories to report that would upset the hardened veteran.However this is not the case for me. I keep records of all emails i have sent for help from Mr Site and for the last three exchanges i have gotten the same worker. No mess, no fuss. One email and my problem was clarified and fixed. Just like that. Which is, in my mind exactly how it should be you have a problem. So i am going to name this person who has given me such great service; Dharamveer Sunaria. I was a loyal customer for 8 years when I decide to “upgrade” to be mobile friendly and improve my shop. Big mistake. When the new site went live the shop didn’t work properly so customers couldn't check out and I lost sales. Even after Mr Site said they fixed the problem, it was still buggy and some customers were reporting not being able to check out even after a month. Other issues were the feedback options didn't work, which was one of the reasons I upgraded. The shop was a bad design because customers could not buy items from different categories without having to pay double the postage. Customer service was not very helpful so finally I went directly to head office and asked for a refund. I had been talked into not only paying 400 pounds to have the site built (because the “upgraded” site was impossible for me to build myself), I was also talked into paying three years in advance (and getting another year free) to get a discount which was still 800 pounds. When I asked for a refund they would not give me anything, not even a refund for the time they wouldn’t be hosting my site. They said this was because I had not given them the info to build the site for 5 months (and then it took them two months to build it) and had the package for over six months. So my business suffered and I was significantly out of pocket. I had another domain with them which I decided to keep, I might as well get something for my money. Not happy at all.

I paid for two pro websites and built the first one which I did not find at all user friendly. In saying that, customer service were initially helpful in answering my queries. On completion of the build, there were several problems for which I initiated support tickets. I did not want to start building the second website until the problems with the first one were reolved.

The last ticket was still not resolved several months later. Areas of the website text size was far too small and almost illegible so I asked for it to be enlarged. Despite contacting them several times the problems was never resolved. More importantly, several sales were unable to be completed through the website. Frustratingly by the end of the year, I still had an inferior and unusable website and therefore had wasted even more money by purchasing the second website.

I kept receiving renewal notices to renew the membership so I contacted the London office to ask them fix the problems and complimentary renew the both the membership for 12 months so I could start afresh. I supplied all the documentation of the unresolved support tickets and also the sales that were unable to be processed through the website. They refused and on the day of expiry, the website was taken offline. I am an extremely unhappy and disgruntled customer.

My business really needed a website and I was a bit sceptical as to whether I would be able to build my own. My daughter gave me a Mr Site website for Christmas so I gave it a go – it really was easy and fun too and my website looks professional. Great support too – I got stuck on how to set up my email and they helped me within the hour. Recommended.

I didn’t have time to build a website myself, so I used Mr Site’s Kickstart service, where they build your site for you. Can’t recommend highly enough. I worked with a designer called George - he made me a gorgeous website with matching business cards and a logo too. Really glad I went with Mr site.

I’ve used different sitebuilders, but always go back to Mr Site. Its got great features, cool templates and is very fast. Good customer support too. I’ve made several websites with them and will continue to use them in the future.

Like everyone else I was invited to make my website mobile friendly otherwise Google marks it down. So I paid my £99 and waited....and waited. It took longer than promised to happen but it finally did, however I have had nothing but problems since. When I search for my site now it is listed but says error under it which might put some people off clicking onto it. On a PC & ipad it appears normally once one clicks through. However on a mobile - the very reason I upgraded - the pages are blank. That's on my iphone and friend's Galaxy S3 (I think that's it). I have written to Mrsite numerous times and it hasn't been fixed. I even logged in myself on webmaster tools (learnt a fair bit by doing so and asking questions on Google forum) but I'm not a techy and the problem still exists. This is affecting my business and I am seriously thinking of going elsewhere. Also if you beed to speak to soneone they are in India despite the London address. I wouldn't recommend Mrsite. Find another host for your website unless you want a 6 month plus headache.

I had been a customer of MrSite for some years. However last October (2015) I decided to upgrade my website to become mobile/tablet friendly. I contacted customer services and upgraded to their new system.

However in February 2016 my site had not been updated. They were unable to migrate the site to a suitable level for what I required.

I emailed MrSite requesting a refund of £199.99 and for the code for me to transfer my domain elsewhere. MrSite contacted me by phone and they were very apologetic and refunded me the full amount and waived the £15 admin fee as a goodwill gesture.

I would recommend using MrSite for creating your website. The prices are reasonable. They are always polite and do reply to your emails etc. However be sure that they can supply you with the service that you require before agreeing a contract. I had a good service with them but unfortunately they could not give me the website that I desired.

I faced poor experience with mrsite.com For my domain transfer to other domain company, mrsite.com has charged pound 12 from me as domain move away charges.

I think no other domain company is charging domain transfer or move away charges / fee except mrsite.com

This was really unfair charges for me.

I recommend to all to read all terms & conditions of mrsite.com before making any deal with them.

I used this to create my first website. Its been perfect for me! very smooth running and easy to use.

I have historically had a relatively trouble-free relationship with Mr.Site (over several years), although the product (/ service) has 'aged' quite markedly over this time.
Mr.Site now seek to charge further for updating their product (/ service) - which (frankly) should be something they offer gratis - if they want to keep business.
I paid for migration services to their new website builder, but over five (5+) weeks later - nothing has been actioned and their customer service is seemingly unable to give me any timescale for delivery of the work to be undertaken that has already been paid for!
I looks as though it is time to move away - and I wouldn't recommend for anyone to build a new site using their functionality = There are clearly much better offerings out there for new build websites, and only inertia has kept me with them to date.

I started my own business and wanted a website builder and found Mr Site. It's easy to navigate and use and the support offered by the team is second to none.
I wouldn't hesitate recommending Mr Site for all your website needs.

the support team are always polite and friendly. I Have recommend to friends family and business colleagues. a user of Mrsite since 2007 and their sites gets better and better. And the price of their sites is much cheaper than some i have looked at.

The whole experience of updating and designing the website has been made 100% easier. This is a vast improvement on the old style system. Would like the MP3 widget though as this was a great tool for me on the d system. Plus statistics of viewers is a little more complicated. But on the whole a great improvement

I've had a Mr. Site website for a few years now. It's so easy to use, looks great and the guys in customer service are incredibly friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend.

I am over the moon with my website built by Mr Site, it is exactly how I envisioned it to be. They were really helpful and worked at pace suitable to me. The feedback from my site has been amazing. I would highly recommend Mr Site. I am so pleased I have just renewed for another three years.

In the last few weeks I've had nothing but trouble; from them ignoring the questions in my emails, the twice daily texts and almost daily calls to renew, my list goes on but I've almost lost the will to gripe about them now. Topped off i've been waiting to move away for a week but have heard nothing despite my emails, and when I was called by them (again to renew my site), I was hung up on when I told them I was still waiting for the call to move away.
A lazy shoddy attitude to customer service so far for my experience, plus a fee if you want to move away; in my opinion a company that doesn't need to charge a leaving fee is a confident company that believes its customers are happy and won't move away.

I'm not giving it a 1 star, because until now the service has been completely fine (it's also been nothing special, I moved site builders over a year ago) but I have never known such a lack of overall customer care.
