I have travelled with MSL quite a few times in the past, and now since Rick l have travelled again. Switzerland, Picos, Aragon tours, and a visit to his home La Belle Etoile. The tours are good value.
If you want a "fully guided by the nose" tour then look elsewhere. However if you are capable of a bit of self guidance with your own, (or Rick's supplied routes), then give MSL a try. Rick will always try to help you if you ask. The hotels and any food where included are usually of a good standard. I will use again when tours/times/cash coincide.
Cancellations and rebooking during Covid were made extremely easy.

The fact that MSL does excellent tours is well known. I have been to a couple in the past and booked for another this year in August.
Unfortunately I broke my leg and there is a slight chance that I will not be able to go. So, got intouch with MSL, Rick, to explain my predicament expecting the usual response of full/part deposit refund and a cancellation as soon as possible to give them time to re-book the place.
Instead their response was not to worry, get better and just to let them know of my condition couple of weeks before departure.
To me this is beyond good customer service - this is extremely excellent service putting the customer first above all. They understand that unforeseen things can happen and they are willing to be helpful and flexible; I have just witnessed it!
This is another fact that puts MSL Tours well above the rest.

Well what can I say Rick is a great guy the hotels were spot on , located in some beautiful places the scenery is stunning the food was plentiful and good . The beer was great . Meet some fantastic people on this trip who I will definitely stay in touch with to the Pyrenees and Aragon. Rick organised everything so all we had to do was turn up at the boat no hassle or fuss . Thanks Rick for such a great holiday can’t wait to see your next year for another trip .

Second time with Rick, from msl tours, picos, last year, just got back from fantastic trip to aragon, and pyrenees.

Where to start...
Originally I booked a tour for 2021, but my work situation meant I wasn't able to go - MSL were fantastic in helping me transfer my booking to a mate so he could go in my place.
As soon as he'd finished the tour he was straight in touch with me "I'm booked for next year, you're coming along, it's brilliant"

So I booked in for 2022.

Relatively late notice my other half wanted to come along, again MSL were brilliant in helping out with the paperwork needed for her visa application (non-UK passport) and getting everything arranged.

Despite my best efforts to be a problem customer, Rick is always friendly and really helpful - I'm looking forward to my tour even more now.

An excellent and well organised trip. Hotels were all very high standard in excellent locations and evening meals included , which for anyone eating out in Switzerland is an expensive addition. Tours are very relaxed doing as much or as little riding as suits you.
Excellent value for money and highly recommended

Just back from The Switzerland Adventure 2022. What an adventure over ten days incredible sights to see, new friends to make and all organised. by Rick well done..

I look forward to attending more adventures next year..

Just back from an amazing trip around the Pyrenees.

This was my 2nd trip with MSL, and as ever the holiday was well arranged, documented, supported by MSL Tours.

The suggested routes took us through some of the very best roads i’ve ever ridden and just the best scenery you could ask for.

Hotels were very good, clean & comfortable with some super food & wine consumed.

Would highly recommend MSL Tours for anyone interested in a fantastic biking holiday.

A great trip, riding incredible roads, great hotels with great food, and fantastic value. This is my third MSL tour 👍🏻

I will keep it short and sweet, well organised, great hotel, and fantastic value for money.
Rick was also super helpful in resolving a bike damage claim against Brittany ferries. Booked for next year!

The Spanish Picos Classic 07Oct21 a great opportunity to get to ride quality, twisty roads in beautiful rural Spanish mountains. Based in Santander you have the benefit of being in a town with access to local shops, bars and the beach. The hotel is of a good standard, clean with helpful staff. You will have to ride some motorway to get out to the best roads but it is worth it to be based in a town with access to all your usual facilities and amenities. Be prepared for the ferry trip which is quite a stint at just over 30 hours but the cabins are clean with good showers and a free movie channel. This is not a guided tour and is priced accordingly however Rick will provide tried and tested routes should you prefer not to explore on your own. There will be plenty of other bikers on the trip so you will have the chance to meet likeminded people and strike up new friendships. I found Rick always eager to help when approached and have already booked for next year's trip. Safe riding.

After being postponed from last year due to Covid, it was great to finally get away on the bike. I was in a group of 10 on the Picos Classic Tour.
Great communication from Rick on the lead up to the trip regarding everything Covid related.
The hotel was spacious and comfortable with plenty of food available at the breakfast and evening meals. Being located in Suances, there was a short ride every day to get into the mountains.
We were free to do our own rides and there were no timescales to abide to.
After having my bike seat damaged on the return crossing by being strapped down too tightly, Rick is currently taking control of my claim from Brittany Ferries. Great service, thanks Rick.
Certainly would recommend MSL for future trips.

I was delighted with my trip by MSL tours. I’ve done plenty of touring solo over the years but always under my own steam and I was a bit wary (sneering) of ‘the package’ option.
I needn’t have worried - it was good fun with plenty of freedom and no agenda I had to follow. Just the boring bits taken care of and - spectacular value!
Also, the comms from Rick and his team regarding COVID travel requirements were superb and very reassuring.
I’m already hoping to do a trip next year with MSL tours.

Travelled from Portsmouth to Santander and on to Suances for a 4 night stay.
Toured the picos de Europe and had a wonderful time.
Rick was always there from the beginning to the very end to talk to and help us.
I will definitely travel with Rick and MSL again and highly recommend you do too.
Great fun and very well organised.

Stayed at La Belle Etoile for two nights with one day motorbike tour. Rick couldn’t have been friendlier or more accommodating. The B&B is comfortable, breakfasts filling and the bike tour fantastic. The choice of stops on route have an excellent experience of rural French life. Overall a great stay and enjoyable weekend. Thanks Rick.

Due to our unfortunate personal circumstances resulting from the Covid19 situation, sadly we're not able to go on our long awaited trip. Rick was very helpful in dealing with it and his communication. Based on this experience, I would recommend him and if our personal situation changes in the future I would sign up for one of his tours.

Fantastic motorcycle tuition from MSL tours. Rick was very clear and helped me gain significant confidence and skills in motorcycling.

What a fantastic and well run trip to Spain. It was unfortunate that the boat had engine problems so we left from Plymouth instead of Portsmouth. Hotel ok food not great but the area and roads made up for it. Like to thank Rik and his team for helping me get the Aprillia back to Britain as i think i over worked it. I will be traveling back to the area soon for more fun and would travel with Rik and MSL again
