MSN is crap

MSN is crap, especially their comment section. You can't type anything in their MSN comment section without it getting deleted moments later. I'm in Canada and are facing yet another wildfire across our provinces and all i said was that it seems like arson and I quickly pointed out the arsonist from Quebec who was arrested for deliberately setting a series of fires and all this time creating online pots blaming the Canadian Government for settign the fires and my comment gets deleted, no offense language, no discrimination, no hate and it gets deleted, as a matter of fact most of my comments get deleted and there's absolutely nothing bad about any of them and yet I have noticed that many of their stories are hateful discriminative stories, stories such as "The 30 most ugly celebrities" crap that promotes hate and discrimination. Today they deleted two of my comments, one was about the arson in Canada, the second I asked why was my comment deleted when all i mentioned was arson and furthermore, they seem to allow racial comments directed at white people as I have come across several anti-white comments, I haven't yet come across any anti-black comments which is a good thing, but there shouldn't be racially motivated comments directed towards white people either. My MSN experience has been a very terrible experience

A site that obviously doesn’t believe…

A site that obviously doesn’t believe in free speech and expression because you can write the truth and facts and because it doesn’t fit their narrative or agenda it won’t be allowed to be published because of left wing agendas sad and pathetic in this day and age

I wish I could give MSN news a ZERO. Very annoying with all the disinformation. Stop it MSN! Not to mention the poor quality of the videos, sound and functionality. Don't waste your brain cells on MSN.

1 star is too many

1 star is too many. I couldn't write "this is about saving people's hearing" because that went against community guidelines. Meanwhile, extremist accounts get unrestricted commenting. The stories are always bait too. Terrible joke of a site that should NOT be default in edge.

Excessively Strict Moderation

Excessively Strict Moderation

MSN.com’s approach to comment censorship, which includes arbitrarily blocking common English words and preventing relevant conversations, appears to contradict its own community standards, particularly since those standards emphasize open discourse and respectful engagement. While moderation is crucial for maintaining a civil environment, the excessive and at times irrational restrictions are suppressing legitimate discussions and discouraging user participation. Worse yet, the censorship is routinely applied inconsistently and often without any clear justification, nor a means to appeal these decisions, effectively undermining the integrity of the platform and eroding trust among its users. MSN should operate with transparency and reasonable moderation practices to ensure the platform fosters a balanced and diverse exchange of ideas rather than haphazardly silencing constructive dialogue. Addressing this issue would not only strengthen community engagement but also align the platform’s actions with its stated principles. I've been a regular on MSN and other forums for years but MSN is by far the most strictly moderated of any site and it's to the point of the site becoming nonfunctional as a discussion forum. I hope they fix it. But for now, I give 1 star.

FREE SPEECH!

Posted a comment concerning the financial woes of a luxury garment company. The comment was perfectly polite and expresses an opinion concerning and criticising the OTT levels of DEI of the garment company in question. MSN removed the comment because it did not meet their guide lines.

What ever happened to free speech and opinions?

I consider the MSN decision as absolutely crass and I will never buy anything from this US company ever again. From this day forth I will wind down all links with the Microsoft network and look to other competitors including China.

Elementary school journalism

Many articles are either written with awful quality and low professionalism, and others come straight from AI. Either way, there is little effort given to edit and perfect the shabby installations in the art of journalism. The articles are often bigoted and biased, providing an array of the most blatantly false facts that are advertised as whole truths, thus it is obvious that there is little to no fact checking done before an article is published on the sight. Very disappointing.

MSN is deleting a lot of my comments…

MSN has been deleting a lot of my comments they don't like and they're violating my 1st amendment right and my right to freedom of speech. They're very un-American. I think they're in bed with fascist Putin and Russia. I've sent a lot of complaints to MSN using its "feedback" but they never listen.
