Poor delivery and slow response from Customer Service
I ordered my goods on the 8th April. I received a notification from DPD on the 16th April that there had been a problem and it would be resolved in 24 hours. It wasn't! I contacted DPD and MujiUK through the portal...no reply. After the second attempt the Customer Service sent me a polite apology, asked me to be patient and to wait a further 6 days for a DPD investigation. 8 days later still no information! I have written another email asking for a refund...still no reply. I am so disappointed.

I brought 3 pencils from muji and after one month!! they stopped working and didn’t refill horrible quality I would never purchase their pencils again, same with their pens, after a month they stopped working even if you used it gently absolutely a waste of money 🤦🏻♀️
Extremely poor delivery service
I am not complaining about the products as so far have been happy with them. However, their delivery service is less than one star though. All day delivery slot for an exorbitant amount of money and they can’t even give you a rough window even when they know the route at the beginning of the day. (This is my third order within a few months and each delivery has got worse.) Today a driver called me at around 4 saying he would be there in an hour and turned up nearer 7! And his attitude was poor. Said he couldn’t call 25 customers with slots, even though he didn’t bother to call to say he was would be two hours later than planned. Not acceptable.

It was a highly discounted coat, the price seemed too good to be true and it's proven to be so.
Somehow, it does seem discounted items are lures to check out full priced products.
Total waste of time and they should not have drawn the cost of purchase until the products have despatched.

Good products in store. The online experience is appalling. In a nutshell, placed an order for some sale items. Received a confirmation of an order being placed. Chased them for my order after a few days. They said sorry all items are out of stock due to an error. Order refunded. Their email sounded like this was a one-off problem. Placed another order. Received a confirmation email. Chased them and they said that it normally takes 5 working days to ship an order. Chased again, "sorry items are out of stock". Received a refund. What is annoying is the amount of my time and effort wasted. There is no proactive communication from Muji. I asked to be compensated for wasting my time. They are keeping silent. In short: avoid online purchasing.

Do not buy from company.I spent £10 on this website and they said they could not deliver my parcel because I had put my address in wrong when I never did and they said they would resend it but they didn’t they just sent it back to them so I emailed them and they said they’ll have a look it’s been a month now such scammers do not buy they will take your money
First and last purchase from MUJI
First and last purchase from MUJI . I received notification that Royal Mail had delivered my MUJI parcel but nothing arrived. I contacted MUJI online, no phone number available, three times, and three times I received no response. Luckily I paid with Paypal so could get a refund from them. I have never ordered from a company that just blatantly ignores all correspondence from customers. Will never use them again. Looking at the reviews seems like this is how they conduct their business. BUYER BEWARE!
Great experience
I was initially anxious after reading the negative reviews, but I have to say my experience was excellent. From placing the order to receiving it, everything was handled smoothly.
I appreciated receiving an immediate email confirmation after placing my order. The following day, I was notified that my order was being prepared, and later, I received an update that it had been shipped. The package arrived within a week, just as I had anticipated.
The products are absolutely amazing—I love them!

Always had nice things when bought in the shop, but unfortunately, I purchased an item and although they took my money, they did not provide a purchase ID or any email to show that the item had been bought.
I contacted customer services - no response.
Interestingly, I contacted PayPal within a few days of buying the item after reading the reviews, and they refunded me straight away. This surely suggests that the website is known to be a scam.
Unsure why Muji are still allowed to be present online.

What is up with your AWFUL stock management? I wanted to get a set of cutlery but the folk was out of stock so needed to wait until today. I went on the website and now I cannot find table spoons or knives anymore, only dessert and coffee spoons. This is just one example of me feeling VERY FRUSTRATED regarding their poor stocking, if I want multiple things but don’t want to order one by one it just doesn’t ever work out. So I end up in not ordering anything in the end and it’s been like this for years, I’m sure as long as they ever existed in the UK they’ve been so bad like this.
Also, why on earth they only have stores in central London? We have no stores in West London for some reason which makes no sense. They have only a few stores and DREADFUL online shop, which makes me think they don’t want any business. Plus fix your terrible website as well. It majorly lacks details of products, even measurements for furniture sometimes and some products have same photos for different colours. Just absolutely poor in every single aspect. At this point I don’t even shop at muji at all.

Placed an order on 4th December for a jacket that was in stock. Received notification of order being placed and not received any updates since. It's now 11th December. Filled in online contact form (only way of contacting customer service) chasing an update who did reply the same day saying my order was still with online processing team and I will get a notification when shipped. How long does it take to ship an instock order!!! Will be asking paypal for a refund it no further updates received by end of the week. Shockingly poor service. Is for a Christmas present and have no reassurance that this will arrive yet they have taken my money. Wish I had read Trust Pilot sooner as would have avoided.

My bed arrived on the day I specified. The delivery drivers were very nice and called me about an hour before they got here. It would be good to have delivery updates on the day of delivery or the day before, like other companies do, but other than that I'm happy with my purchase.

I really love MujiMuji but I am somewhat shocked by my recent purchse of Juniper Forest Reed Diffuser. The scent is absolutely marvelous. Once you open the packet you will find a health & safety sticker saying "avoid breathing vapor or dust .... and hte list goes on". HONESTLY, you are selling a scent diffuser one should not breathe???
Item not shipped and no customer service
I placed an order on the 14/11/24 and the shipping is still pending. It is currently the 26/11/24. I have contacted them twice and no response. Like other reviews said, I should have avoided purchasing anything from their online store. For such a well respected brand, this is appalling and feels like a massive scam.
