While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

The worst contractor ever come across - MWT Logistics

We subcontracted for MWT Logistics who are based in Northern Ireland from January 2025 until the 16th of May 2025. We struggled to get paid for the work done. We were also given work that didn't pay well and Eddie Wilson the Director and Transport Manager was rude to our drivers - one of our drivers couldn't bear his rudeness and confusion and left. Eddie clearly has no clue what he is doing. The accountant Marcela also has no clue and thinks subcontractors work for them. Everytime when it was time to pay for invoices, she demanded credit notes and no payment would be made without a credit note. We are still owed a lot of money by MWT Logistics and all their invoices are long over due.
Eddie took a trailer from our yard without our consent and took it to Ireland and only returned it when I reported to the police. On numerous occasions, Eddie made our driver cross into Ireland with a National Operators licence. I warned him a few times about such practices. He was also in the habit of loading glass in TASCC trailers which I also warned him not to do as it was against TASCC rules and expectations.
