For BMW it is working fine. I have a Volvo xc70 awd from 2002 and Carly do not find anything for the Volvo.
Love Carly. It is easy to use and fast. If you drive any older Euro car, Carly is a tool you need. My Audi has annoying codes from the secondary air injection that remove every week. I also used live monitoring to diagnose a warn out thermostat , from a blown head gasket.
I changed from Gen 2 to the new Universal Carly. The new version was much harder to make connection to my BMW 530i. Finally, I got a connection, but during the diagnostics it would go into an endless cycle without result.
The diagnostics are pretty superficial. I am trying to determine why my AC is not blowing cold. There is no information on sensors for the system.
Lacking supportand technical capability i tried logging calls and had zero response. Carly is simplynot interested. Disappointing have had to invest in VCDS and ISTA much more usable

Not really happy, bought the pacakage for all cars and this thing only works well with german car, that is really not good, seriously considering moving away from carly

Initially more oriented for a very specific niche of people with reasonable prices and not constantly getting suggestions of additional subscriptions, it has literally lost it’s mission and become on a mass subscriber oriented service.
Offering monthly suscrptions, or reducing the constant “suscribe to fully enjoy” messages would improve the spirit of it
I mislaid my carly scanner but unfortunately could not get a replacement after trying many times with customer care I eventually gave up and cancelled my account

Never heard back on my support ticket, but I did get this request to provide feedback on my support experience. So, progress?

I did not get any support at all after describing my problem.

I don't know who and how to reach this company. It seems like your support email does not work, it always return as unreacheable. So, I am not sure how it is registered a recent call to reach your support group, when I have no clue how you have made this assumption.

Recently I experience problems with the OBD2 dongle. Sometimes the app states that i should upgrade to the universal connector - which I have. Recently I get notifications that I have to re-connect with the dongle. It happens from time to time in all 3 of my cars (2 BMWs, one Fiat) and also to some friends' cars. Truely, the 4 stars rating is rather optimistic, but because I am a long term user, my overall experience deserves defenitely more than 3 stars. I use an iPhone with iOS 26.6 at the time. The UI and promos are fine. Try to solve the the under the hood issues.
I have hybrid Volvo and carly can't read hybrid battery SOH at all. That's is not ideal. It can read some faultcodes but hybrid battery is not properly supported.
Scammers! Take payment again 1 year later from your Paypal account, this is not made obvious on purchase you are setting up a subscription and no notice is given in the days leading up to the money being taken which is normal practice on subscriptions. They are using this as an additional revenue stream on a sub standard product, just look at all the bad reviews.
Beware the small print!

The app isn't very " intuitive " and takes a little thought to navigate and it doesn't always function as you would expect it to
