Quoted £114/hour for call out and up to 1 hour of work (even if it takes 5 minutes) and then £57 per 1/2 hour thereafter. They then Whatsapped me after I contacted them and were already phoning me to chase for confirmation that I was going ahead, within 20 seconds of receiving their message.
If you change your mind they then go out of their way to try to stop you cancelling.
It is of course up to others to consider for themselves if they consider this is value for money, but having been charged £114 for coming out and spending 40 mins to diagnose a faulty cartridge in our filtered water mixer tap, put the cartridge back temporarily and fit a replacement isolation valve under the sink, I’ve now been quoted a FIXED price of just £60 elsewhere to replace with a new tap (which I provide, as I would also have to do with the engineer MyCoventryPlumber sent), replace all of the existing isolation valves and do all of the re-connecting.
Trustpilot won’t allow the posting of website links on here, but if you go onto Facebook and type MyCoventryPlumber that’s the company we contacted. It shows the same company logo that the link from Truspilot shows when I click on it. I got badgered again yesterday to ask if I wanted the engineer back again. The number that phoned me was 01273 004125.*** UPDATE - I know it’s not a Coventry number, but that’s what phoned me back. The original number I phoned was 02475 200207 which IS a Coventry number and a Google search for it suggests that it is associated with MyCoventryPlumber. I would like to suggest that you phone that number and as them why they’re purporting to be your company as they’re using exactly the same company logo. I hope this helps. Thanks.
