Please be aware, deliver faulty motorhome after taking £791 for 2 days and later send me an email that, I will have to pay the gearbox repair. I have reported the same day when I feel smell inside in the cabin. also, they have blocked the google review. thanks for Trustpilot.

Not even worth a one star...beware all I’ve just received an invite to Vaaroom motorhome hire Exactly same fleet of motor homes and style of website but different name and pick up sites...they’ve took everyone’s deposits £1000s of pounds and now looking for more victims...unbelievable

We have just had an email from there sister company saying we can’t book it later in the year. we paid our deposit back last year but due to financial reason I can’t claim back from the credit card company !!!!
Got a reply to say that it’s been cancelled by them and to claim through the card company. But we have checked companies house they are in a lot of trouble.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! or any company that is associated with them( there seems to be a number of them).You will book through them but then another company will take over (Hire bookings ltd).
I paid my deposit of £199.00 on the 21.2.20 by credit card.But when I checked my credit card statement it showed that this payment hard gone to a company called Kyoto Clearance!. I thought this very strange so done a bit of digging.It appears that the reason they are using this company to take payment is the fact that all the above named company’s have been in administration since December 2019.They are trying to get round this by using this Kyoto Clearance to Take the payments!! Seems like fraud to me!?. I immediately contacted the above named company to cancel my booking and kindly request they return my deposit as they had deliberately deceived me.I must add that it is very hard to get hold of them! Managed through email.Their response was that they are now under a company called Vaaroom Motorhomes.I explained that I have no correspondence from this company and all my correspondence are from National motorhomes and booking hire.They cancelled my booking but have refused to return my deposit! I am now going through my credit card company in relation to claiming my deposit back!!!!!As stated by previous comments THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND REFUSE TO GIVE IT BACK! I HAVE REPORTED THIS/THESE COMPANYS FOR FRAUD AND DECEIVING SELLING TACTICS.I have this morning 11/03/20 received a full refund from my credit card company.I think this should be evident enough that the above named company’s do not trade in the correct manner and are blatantly committing fraud and deceiving people.

We have a booking for end of April. I emailed national motor homes today and asked if the company is in liquidation. Even though no one answered the phone and the web chat was off, I got a reply to the email saying the parent company was in administration but another company had bought them and was honouring all bookings.. they didn't name the company that are the new owners.. we are treating the whole thing as suspicious.. how can we find out if this is legit ?? Just adding that someone replied to my email and said national motor homes, or unbeatable hire, had been bought out by Vaaroom.. after searching the companies registration it appears to be much the same directors in Vaaroom as the previous companies. I have never been contacted by the appointed official Administrator of national motor homes at any time.. my credit card company is checking it out..

Watch out. You have no chance of getting deposit back. You cant get hold of anyone and recently got an email saying the are in liquidation.

BE CAREFUL. This company pretended to give us a huge discount for a weeks hire. We agreed and was leaving this Saturday. They now say the booking is cancelled and REFUSE TO REFUND £200 DEPOSIT because a form that was sent to my partner yesterday wasn’t completed by 10am today!!!! We now have no holiday and have lost £200. DONT USE THIS COMPANY.

Scamming company. How they can get away with trading like this is beyond me. Booked in mid July for a break I'm Feb 2020. Checked on my booking in December and said company had gone into liquidation and my booking was cancelled. Luckily only paid 30quid for 3 nights. Then got. Email on 28th Jan to say they wasn't in liquation no more and trading under a different name. And to continue my booking but having to pay 1250 as an insurance waiver. Luckily I Google them and see trust pilot and cancelled the booking before paying anymore money out. BEWARE. BEWARE!!!

Do not use this company and note that they operate under several other names as well (Motorhome Hire, Unbeatable Hire). Our motor home from Motorhome Hire was substituted with a van 6-7 years old and we listed 40 faults, 20 of which had health and safety implications. We had a broken indicator, the van broke down twice and we had no hazard lights; we were at risk of scalding, burns and puncture wounds due to faulty items inside, to name but a few, and the whole van was very shabby and decrepit. We took legal advice and quoted the law in our complaint requesting a 50% refund and refund of out of pocket expenses. They took their time getting back to us and we had to post the complaint as well as email but they did agree. However, we never received an apology or any indication they were bothered about the issues and had to make constant follow up contact to get our money - it took about 3 months. This company should not be trading on this basis. Unfortunately, they and their sister companies have an almost complete monopoly on national motor home hire. I think unlikely we will have this type of holiday again but we will go with a regional/local company having checked reviews if we do.

I’m still waiting for my refund. Poor customer service, when I eventually got through, I was advised to contact the bank as they had filed for liquidation.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this company at all costs.

They went into insolvency about two weeks before Christmas.

They go under a multitude of names! Motorholme and Unbeatable Hire to name but a couple. Look up these names up on Trustpilot.

Absolutely appalling company, booked up on 23rd October 2019 for a three night hire advertising on Facebook page for £173. Next day received my callback from the Cambridge branch after paying my £173 via debit card they then mentioned optional extras like toilet chemicals electric and utensils witch was another ££££ on top, by this stage I’m now saying surely this will be in with the hire but then to my amazement they mentioned another £1000 pound required payment claiming £500 was for third party insurance and other half for a break down sir charge but will be fully refunded. By this stage I was reluctant to do so, I asked them to cancel my booking straight away and to cancel pending funds they wouldn’t. By this point I’m annoyed about the fact of advertising and misleading people in false ads etc. Straight away I contacted my bank and was told they couldn’t do anything as was still pending to clear but to phone the merchant and ask to cancel transaction which apparently was easy to do so. After being put on recorded call numerous times, I managed to get on live chat with the Cambridge branch and was told money would be back refunded after 20 working day well they passed and still nothing. I contacted them again now we’ll in December and was told I should have it soon, now it’s January and still nothing cannot contact them any way shape or form and now no live chat. I rang my bank back up and have now ordered them to refund money waiting on outcome still now January 6th.

Do not hire from this company you will end up sorry trust me

We are still going through legal channels to recover monies. WE have been watching this company/companies for a couple of years now. Every year they go into insolvency and continue trading under one of their other affiliated companies, however the Directors names never change. CHECK COMPANIES HOUSE FOR TRADING NUMBERS & DIRECTORS - DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY - CHECK THE ADDRESS - IT IS ALWAYS THE SAME - INFORM TRADING STANDARDS - WHEN WE INFORMED CAMBRIDGESHIRE TRADING STANDARDS THEY CLAIMED TO KNOW THIS COMPANY VERY WELL AND WERE CONSTANTLY RECEIVING COMPLAINTS ABOUT THEM! RUN AWAY!!!......AND KEEP RUNNING!!!!!

Not hired a motor home from them but they are quick at responding to any questions. Pricing is not very clear on the website.

Trustpoilot need to give the ability to select Green Stars for good and Red stars to warn everyone to stay well clear.

There are probably more online trading names that I have not had the time to research yet, when I do, I will update this review.

I booked a Motorhome at the beginning of December for a four night hire in February, through Motorhome Express, I even had the booking confirmed by e-mail which told me I had to book a telephone interview with them, to talk to through my booking details with them, which I did.

Two weeks later, I received an e-mail from their Hire Administrator reminding me to 'CHECK IN' but when you try to do this, you get linked to a new webpage "HIRE CHECK IN" and this message THIS BOOKING HAS BEEN CANCELLED "Due to ongoing issues, we are unable to process credit card payments nor deposit refunds at this time. Unfortunately due to this situation, Unbeatablehire is filing notice for insolvency."

Then a list of things to do to attempt to get your money back from your card company.

I had not even heard of Unbeatable Hire Limited and there is no mention of the parent company on the booking website, and if thats not bad enough, considering they claim to have filed for administration, they are still trading and I can even make a booking online today through every one of the compaines trading names.

I notice within each email I received, there is also a CC recipient to this link "emailtosalesforce@24x5j9rtle79r77cpibtghbuv. in.salesforce.com" and I have been receiving this same e-mail every for the last 17 days, all with the same result.

I am not the only person that has booked a Motorhome and after the money has been taken, have received an e-mail informing them the hire has been cancelled.

TOTAL SCAM and in my opinion the company is trading fraudulently and ripping of the credit card companies (I paid by credit card so get my money back) or if you paid by debit card, rippin off YOU!

There is even a 'RIP OFF Britain' video hosted by Gloria Hunniford on youtube which gives you an idea of this company and how it treats its customer, in my case it looks like they gone to a new scam.

This is the most appalling company ever, don't believe the price quoted they add on every single item and charge you an admin fee of £10 every single time even though we had to go on the website and change things (we must have had 10 admin fees).

The motorhomes were dirty and not of good quality. Tried to charge me for the trim around the sink falling off until I showed them a picture I took which was date stamped before we left the yard showing the damage so they had to back down. (tip: take you own photos of the inside and out or you will be paying for any damage even if it was not your fault unless you can prove otherwise)

Had a blow out on front tyre and had to wait 4 hours for the RAC to come out then this company charged me £348 for calling them out, (if covered by the RAC why are we being charged for the call out?) We argued this and they then gave in and deducted this from the final bill.

This is the worst company ever and all they are interested in is getting money from you.

Now received email saying gone into liquidation so cannot have £1100 deposit back but looks like they are still taking bookings.

Beware be very aware.

Desperate company to deal with and now its gone into liquidation with many people not able to get their money back. This company has behaved in a way that is a disgrace,with extra costs for everything then adding an admin charge plus vat and that’s for what I would call essentials. However their site is still open and appearing to still be trading. This should be illegal
