Unacceptable, unreasonable nd rude - wish I could give no stars

My experience was that this garage offers terrible service and the attitude and lack of any professionalism of staff deserves minus rating in my opinion.

They had me in tears twice and their conduct frightened me too.
I was referred to this garage via an insurance company following a third party incident. I had to go back to insurers twice and today the adviser was shocked to hear me describe my poor, upsetting experience of their staff who so far have missed two booked appointments with me wasting endless hours of my time and the delays in them dealing with the repair needed. They decided to cancel the booking.
I am not at all surprised to see the amount of bad reviews on here. All I can say is I am so pleased that I will never have to speak to anyone there again and that they didnt get to see my car.

Incompetent and possibly blind

My car is currently still in for THIRD round of repairs after not being able to resolve relatively simple damage. Maybe they use the repair centres as an apprentice training center? That is the only way i could understand the incompetence and slow speed of repairs. I can not formally complain and get resolved elsewhere until they have made their third attempt at repair. Actual damage from crash has ALMOST been repaired, but its the extra damage that has been inflicted whilst in the center that is still being looked at! Alloy wheel has been 'refurbished' with halfords rattle can twice and still not acceptable, must have been done in a sandstorm. If at all possible go elsewhere for a professional service. Technicians can even refit body panels correctly and they must have a 'out-of-sight-out-of-mind' policy as all clips and cables were left dangling behind new bumper. New headlight part was fitted but damaged during fitting as the reflector was bent out of shape bliding oncoming traffic. Only good point was car was nice and clean when collected and tyres were covered in vaseline to make it look nice, but I am not blind so i could see past all this 'polishing' of a t*rd.

****DEFINITELY DO NOT USE****

****DEFINITELY DO NOT USE****
I have a Red Range Rover Sport that had a crack in the windscreen therefore needed to be replaced. It was replaced By Nationwide Motorglass technician Trevor Jones on the 11th February 2019.
The technician called me to let me know that it was all done and for me to come and collect the key fob.
To my astonishment he had damaged all the paint work at the top of the roof where the windscreen meets the paintwork of the roof, I could not believe my eyes I was only meant to be having a cracked windscreen replaced on my Range Rover Sport , not for it to require a respray.
The technician Trevor Jones was very amused by the damage he caused by contiously smiling and calling me "sweet", I was in complete shock and said that someone will have to pay for this damage and he just said its the tape. The damage on the paint work is horrific it stands out like a beacon. Therefore I told the technician I was not happy about this and told him I want to complain he advised me he has raised a complaint and he took photos and I did as well, the interior trim has also been damaged and the exterior black panel next to the drivers window is also heavily scratched.
I contacted the Nationwide Motorglass direct 0116 245 3184 and was advised someone from complaints would ring me back.
Eventually nearly 5 hours later I spoke to Sandip the Complaints manager who advised me that nothing would be done with regards to the paint damage to the vehicle, because the tape that was used is industry approved, and that from previous experience it does happen on Red cars only and doesn't seem to happen on any other colour cars, I therefore went on to say that if this has happened in the past to other red cars why are you therefore still using it. It is not good enough to advise a customer that this has happened previously and they are still continuing to use this method. Sandip the Complaints manager advised me to contact my insurance company and that they can deal with it. I also requested to speak to someone more senior or a head office number but was informed by Sandip that he was it.
Nationwide Motorglass are liable for the damage to my car and I am currently pursing this through various means.I will not give up until this is resolved I did not expect to have paintwork damage for just simply having my windowscreen replaced.*********************************************** Any insurance companies who advocate Nationwide Motorglass to undertake windscreen replacement please be warned.*********************

DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!! You have been warned

DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!
Long story short Weybridge branch done such a shockingly poor repair to something perfectly repairable they have written my vehicle off due to the price it would cost another coach works to rectify their disgusting work and replace all the parts they have broken, my rear middle seatbelt, my rear seats, my parking sensors and damage they have done to the other panels not previously damaged. I can't get in to words how poor their go at the repair was. I have contacted the BSI kitemark authority to investigate as I can't believe the quality of their work is kitemarked!! I could have done a better job as an amateur in my garage. In dispute with the insurance company Admiral now as they are trying to force me to go back to nationwide or my car gets written off. Add to that nationwide STOLE my fuel (drained tank and didn't replace it) abused my vehicle and 4wd system, were rude when challenged amongst many other stuff. Do not let yourself be forced to go here, the reviews speak for themselves. Cowboys thieves and frauds and I am taking it further.

Awful organisation - steer clear and I am not even a customer!

Awful organisation to deal with. They called my wife today to tell her that "Mr Hughes can't be dealt with tomorrow and needs to rearrange." She explained that she is not Mr Hughes and they seem to have the wrong number. They asked if she could pass on the message to Mr Hughes!! They called again and left a voicemail for Mr Hughes two minutes later. She called back and explained it all over again again. Once more the call handler did not understand the problem and tried to confirm that Mr Hughes should not show up for his appointment tomorrow. 30mins later someone else called for Mr Hughes. I took over the call and said I wanted to make a complaint. I was told I could not make a complaint unless I gave my name over "due to Data Privacy" - that last thing I want is this shoddy shower having my name! In the end I contacted head office. No option for Complaints, had to speak to HR because "Head Office Management Team" does not connect to anyone pressing 7 on the options. Again the HR person said I could not speak to anyone to make a complaint but I was welcome to write in! My advice, never give your details to this outfit, they clearly cannot handle customer data in a compliant manner.

Poor quality

Had a door repair after a break in and the quality of repair is sub standard. This has devalued my year old van as the door colour no longer matches the rest of the van and the fixture is very sloppy. I wouldn't recommend. Although they did pick it up promptly, finish on time and provide a good hire van. The actual quality of repair is awful though.

Shocking!!

Shocking!!!

The company booked me in for a windscreen repair and then cancelled because one of her colleagues booked incorrectly. I now have to drive around UNSAFE because of their mistake. They were also no interested in helping me AT ALL.

I wouldn't use this company if I didn't have to but due to Hastings being tight and not using Autoglass, I now have to deal with this SH!T.

Cheltenham branch

Standard of repair good. I was kept informed pretty much daily. Car was collected and returned efficiently and was washed and cleaned.
My car is brand new so any extra damage would show up....there isnt any.
Based on this experience, they are good.

The actual body repair on my damaged…

The actual body repair on my damaged vehicle was really good with an excellent colour match and all panels fitting spot on,only downside number plate replaced with wrong reg and cable for passenger interior door handle not clipped in properly so door would not open. When you phone up you can never get through, and the courtesy car supplied had 2 nails in rear tyre and slow puncture in front! If they manned their phones and sorted out the finer details and checked their courtesy cars more throughly this would b a A1 car repair centre,as you could not fault their spraying and fixing of new panels etc!

SOLIHULL BRANCH

SOLIHULL BRANCH

I had a car accident Thursday evening. By Monday morning Nationwide had arranged collection of my vehicle and delivery of a courtesy car. By Wednesday I had a call to say my car would be repaired and back with me on the Friday. I was able to track the repairs online but the team were advising me quicker than the updates online. I am so impressed by the speed and efficiency of the team and would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Nationwide.

It is such a shame that there are so…

It is such a shame that there are so many negative reviews.
Before taking my vehicle into the Harlow branch I spoke to the manager Dean.
His reassurance gave me the confidence to use them and I have not been disappointed.
The customer service (Sophie) was excellent. The team were courteous and professional.
Most importantly the repair is first class
Thank you to the entire team

Worse service and wrecked our car! Gloucester/cheltenham branch

Worse service and wrecked our car!
Nationwide collected our car with only minor damage, collected 4 weeks later to find front grill ripped out, bumper on the floor, dent in wing, fog light surround missing, crow bar and dents all over bonnet, headlight smashed in corner (these cost £800 alone)

Nationwide Manager was a pure rude and denied all this new damage and got in my face, when i got back in his face, he threatened to call police!!

Nationwide repairs expected me to drive my car back 40 miles to swindon and said "you should have known is was undrivable" I said "well how did you pick it up then? You drove it here when collected and we been using it for work for month before you collected"!

Car went in with minor dent to bonnet/bumper and Nationwide put 2k worths of damage on car.

We contacted there customer services, they denied everything even through i had photos before and after and in denial.

Luckly our insurance agreed with us and refunded ALL the damage caused by this backward cowboy company and now our car is back on the road and repaired by another repair centre who could not believe the damage they caused,

STEER CLEAR AND READ ALL THESE REVIEWS-THEY ARE ALL TRUE AND WISH WE HAD READ THEM 1ST!!

The manager needs sacking at there gloucster branch as hes a pure liar and doesnt car about customers nor there cars-just sees the insurance job money and i think this is why they put extra damage on the car.....more damage-more money for them to fix....?!

This review is just one of many written below, and again, wish we had read them first. All these bad reviews cant all be wrong.

Rude receptionist awfull repair

Rude receptionist. Being disabled was told if didn't fetch car by the end of the day I would be charged storage. On collecting car the work done to it was absolutely awful refused to take it in that condition. Never seen anything like it . Would not recommend them at no cost .it had taken them 5 weeks to repair it . Then be expected to take it in that condition.

MITCHAM BRANCH...

MITCHAM BRANCH...

Avoid----THE WORST COMPANY EVER.
Briefly explaining: They have had my car 8 weeks now and still counting (i was told around 6 working days initially) and they still have no idea when its expected to be completed.
Gave back my car with a wonky bonnet and expected me to pay the excess.Good thing i checked it!
Customer service is horrendous. NIKKI on the fone absolutely mannerless-she hung up on me! Can barely get through to the phone half the time. They cannot give an expected time frame STILL!
Absolutely shambles the place is!
I just want my car back-2 months without it and im lumbered with a Nissan Juke.

After placing a complaint at head office got a few update calls from managers but that stopped at a few. My insurance have been to inspect vehicle on my request and pointed out paint used is not matching. The alignment is still not acceptable. My insurance have decided to give them a final chance before my car is sent directly to Mercedes.
God help me! How they are approved repairers I have no idea- they're a bloody Joke!

Would NOT recommend even if services were free!
