La Toviere is a great location for the lifts and for skiing the vast areas of Val d'Isere or Tignes. The hotel is really well run and the two evenings of entertainment during the week were fun, inclu... See more

Neilson offers a range of award-winning overseas active holidays across seven countries, including beach clubs, ski chalets and yachts. There aren't many companies where 7 out of 10 of our guests return to relive the experience again, and again. Mind you, there aren't many holiday companies like Neilson. In part it's because we're in some of Europe's most beautiful locations - across Greece, Sardinia, Croatia and Turkey - and now Mauritius. All our activities are inclusive, likewise the delicious, locally sourced food. And in part it's because of how a Neilson holiday makes you feel. Our holidays are a unique alchemy; the enthusiasm of amazing guests and the dedication of equally amazing staff; a willingness to give it a go now and have a laugh about it later. We call it good energy and you'll feel it the moment you walk into any of our resorts.

RevieOur 3rd Visit – And We’ve Already Booked Our 4th!w
Group: 2 Adults & 10-year-old boy girl twins
We just returned from our third stay at Neilson Hotel Del Clos, and it remains our absolute favorite family getaway. We love it so much that we’ve already booked for 2027!
Since we couldn't swing the February prices again, we’re trying the final week of the season next year—a bit of a risk, but this hotel is worth it.
The Rooms & Facilities
This year, we stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms. It featured bunk beds for the twins and a small balcony overlooking the slopes. The fresh update looks great and having that view of the mountains every morning is the perfect way to start a ski day.
The Heart of the Hotel: The Staff
I cannot say enough about the staff. They are, quite simply, amazing. Their kindness toward our family is unmatched; they truly go above and beyond to ensure every guest has a brilliant holiday. It’s a very safe, family-friendly environment where the kids can enjoy a bit of freedom and make new friends!
Skiing & Guiding
Progress: I actually learned to ski here in Andorra. This year, I even tackled red and black runs! * Lessons: The ski school it really easy to get to from the hotel and the instructors are all English, making it really easy to communicate.
Neilson Guiding: A huge shoutout to the guided tours. They are a fantastic way to meet other hotel guests. By the end of the week, we were skiing in a huge group with three other families—watching the kids ski together with their new holiday friends was a real highlight.
Food & Fun
The food was great as always, but the evening entertainment really stepped it up this year:
The Magician: A new addition for 2026 and he was unreal.
Disco Bingo: The Friday night tradition is still a total blast.
Recommendation: If you are a family or a beginner/intermediate skier, I cannot recommend this hotel and the El Tarter resort enough.
Neilson booking experience
The agent was pleasant and friendly, and sorted my booking and payment schedule efficiently.
The phone system knew my name and details as we had been on previous Neilson holidays, which made the booking process much easier
Tried numerous times to pay
Tried numerous times to pay, my bank said payment approved but it did not show on the Nielson site, and there was no indication it was rejected. (I phoned the next day and paid with a different card). There may have been an issue with my card but it was still working fine with chip and pin? There seemed to be no error handling on the Neilson side so I couldn't tell what was going on?
Reactive and helpful
Booked online
Booked online - all good until deposit payment made, but no confirmation received that payment had been received correctly. Contacted customer services (very polite and efficient) who confirmed that it had been received. Everything else was good
Helpful booking agents
Helpful booking agents. First time with Neilson, but so far so good.
Excellent holiday
Very good transport arrangements although we would have preferred a later flight time.
Hotel excellent with good sized bedroom and plenty of hot water.
Food good.
Staff went out of their way to make sure you had a great holiday.
Enjoyed the evening entertainment
Use the phone!
Natalie was very helpful in sorting out the correct style and allocation of rooms. Website indicated no vacancies but so much easier to do with a phone call to a sensible person
Room booking fee
We have not yet been on the holiday, this score relates to an email I received offering the chance to pay to select our rooms, suggesting we can pay to get "closer to the action", starting at £50 a room. This hints that if we don't pay up our previous room request will be ignored, there is a hierarchy of good to not good rooms, and non payers, by default will be dumped in the least attractive rooms ...this feels likes extortion before we have even started the holiday. We paid a premium price not to be extorted, to have reasonable room requests in the booking honored, and not to be left with the feeling we will get the least attractive rooms
