NetSpot is a professional multiplatform app for Wi-Fi network planning, wireless site surveys, Wi-Fi analysis, and troubleshooting. Best in its class for over 10 years. No need to be a network expert to improve your home or office Wi-Fi today! All you need is your MacBook running macOS 10.12+ or any laptop with Windows 7/8/10/11 on board and NetSpot which works over any 802.11 network. When working on a Wi-Fi network that will provide an optimal coverage, you'll need a solid research and understanding the radio frequency behavior at the spot. The effective way to obtain this information is a wireless site survey. It will reveal areas of channel interference and dead zones, and will help you tremendously to build a solid network. The main goal of a WIFI site survey is determining the feasibility of implementing a wireless network in a specific area and finding the best spots for access points and other equipment like cables and antennas. With the help of site survey you will know what type of equipment to get and where to install it.

This software has been a game changer...

This software has been a game changer with my network jobs, but my experience with Netspot support has been something I have never experienced with a software company. I wrote into support and asked if there was a way to get more AP model settings in the Planning feature of Netspot. I got a reply back within 30mins asking which APs I prefer to use, and that they would add them from me. I expected that would mean seeing these AP models in a future update release, but instead I received an email, about 8 days, later stating that my AP models were added. That day I build my plan and quoted my customer with confidence that the AP planning would be close to real world expectations. I have never had a software company come through like this. I am totally impressed with this company and their product. I wish other companies could learn from Netspot. Great job guys!!

Perfect Survey Software for my MSP

I recently had the opportunity to use NetSpot for conducting wireless surveys for my clients. Given that wireless surveys are not a daily task for us, finding a cost-effective solution was crucial. NetSpot not only met our affordability criteria but also exceeded our expectations in terms of functionality and support.

Initially, I encountered a minor hiccup – the predictive software did not include all the Access Points (APs) necessary for our projects. Understanding the importance of comprehensive data for accurate surveys, I reached out to NetSpot's customer support team, hoping for a solution but prepared for a workaround.

To my astonishment, the response from the support team was nothing short of exceptional. Within 24 hours of my inquiry, the missing APs were added to the software. This rapid and effective resolution showcased NetSpot's dedication to customer satisfaction and their commitment to providing a product that truly meets the needs of their users.

Based on this experience, I can confidently say that the support team's efficiency and NetSpot's overall performance have left a lasting impression on me. For organizations that handle medium-sized wireless deployments, I highly recommend NetSpot. Its combination of affordability, functionality, and exceptional support makes it a standout choice in the crowded market of survey software.

Great product

We recently purchased a Pro license of Netspot to help identify user complaints about interference, and were pleased with the functionality of the product, ease of use, ease of purchasing, and quick response on a support question.

Recommended Wifi Solution

I've been using NetSpot at home and it's been a game changer for setting up my WiFi. Despite having a UniFi system and WiFiman at my fingertips, I still opted to pay for NetSpot. What I love about it is how it hits the sweet spot between being powerful and user-friendly. The heatmap feature is a standout for me; it lets me map out my WiFi coverage directly on my floor plan. Plus, it's super cool how it breaks down coverage by access point and band, so I can easily figure out where my WiFi is strongest and which network types give the best QoS in different parts of my house.
