Worst eshop in the world. Doesn't even have a basket where you can add and check out with more than 1(!!!!!!!!) game at the time.

When you buy things you have to 'log in' at least three times and the eshop is disorganised.

Also their payment system is working only 70% of the time.

Nintendo tries to stifle any competition by lawsuits and patents instead of improving their own products. This is not in the spirit of gaming. Not to mention all the copyright claims they keep doing.

Can't support such malicious company.

When you sign up for the "FREE" trial membership, you will be charged after that and then it is very difficult to cancel it. You cannot cancel through the app or the switch. I had a hard time and a run around trying to cancel it using different web browsers. My PC browser said I had no membership, my phone browser said I did and let me cancel. It took me months! When it is easy to sign up to something, it should be easy to cancel. Shame on you Nintendo. I expected better from this brand.

This company is so scammy and also just plain disrespectful when contacted with a problem. I bought a game that I wanted to replay and they claimed I never bought it and would have to rebuy it, as though I imagined I had played through the entire game in 2017-18. They were so dismissive and rude in the help center.

Terrible company and customer service. I pay for an online subscription in which Nintendo guarantees fun and peace of mind yet there is nothing but cheaters online, spoke to customer service and there is nothing they can or will do about it so I spoke to some supervisors and the same thing. Now they increased the price for an online membership and still they will not fix issues so take take take but not improve. Their consoles are sooo way overpriced along with their games. very greedy anti-consumer company people should really boycott their products.

The switch 2 controller works ONLY with nintendo devices. AVOID. Customer service doesn't give a damn and just tells you it is your problem not theirs.

A Fun Game Ruined by Overpowered CPUs

As a parent looking to enjoy a game with my child, Super Mario Party Jamboree seemed like the perfect choice. The vibrant visuals, diverse minigames, and nostalgic characters promised hours of fun. However, our experience was marred by one significant issue: the CPU opponents.

Despite setting the difficulty to "Easy," the CPUs consistently outperformed us in nearly every aspect. They rolled higher numbers, acquired stars effortlessly, and dominated minigames. It felt less like a party game and more like a battle against unbeatable AI. This imbalance turned what should have been a joyful experience into a frustrating ordeal.

Many players have voiced similar concerns. One Reddit user shared:

I have owned many Nintendo consoles over the years, but the Nintendo Switch is the last one. I bought it less than a year ago and it's already falling apart. The quality is absolutely poor with regular crashes and overheating, and the recent leaks about Nintendo's ridiculous corporate greed makes them even less relevant.

I spend 556$ on this console for my son's birthday, we opened it to find that the HDMI cable and wrist straps that were included were not in the box. I messaged a representative about it and was told, "sorry for the inconvenience, but you will have to buy them" since I bought it from Walmart they wont send the missing parts to me. They possibly screwed up by not putting them in the box and now its my problem and have to spend even more money!

I have had a good experience with buying amiibos on Nintendo store. Yes the items can be expensive but if you can't find it anywhere else the item is usually reasonable. The only problem I had was that the items took over a week to ship and the customer service lady I chatted with wrong with delivery date by a few days. But Nintendo is on the west coast and I'm on east coast - it's going to take a while with free shipping. Happy with products when received. But I have no experience buying video games from them though.

buying the Super Mario Odyssey for my Switch was costly at full retail price.

While the game is perfect, really, the high expense coupled with Nintendo's inflexible pricing adds strain. A little price reduction or flexibility would greatly enhance the value offering. We need more love to players from companies. Not only money rules the world

Absolute dog company don’t care that they’re scummy and scammers brand new switch 2 with broken joycons tried sending them in for repair instead they sent them back and didn’t fix them nor did they email me to let me know if they could fix them I’m fed up with Nintendo and the lies how can a brand new switch 2 come with broken joycons and the fact they didn’t even repair them really pissed me off

Scam company. They minimise costs by shorting the customer on quality and yet the prices of their consoles & games are nigh unpayable for most. This company is run by greed. They claim to “Put smiles on the faces of everyone they touch”. They do not give a shit about you. They will put a hole in your minimum wage earning wallet and they will happily continue to do so. If you want to play nintendo games you “have” to buy a nintendo console. If you don’t feel like using 3rd party software to emulate these consoles then please buy second hand. You will be doing the gaming community a favour by starving this ruthless, greedy and inferior games company.
Edit: I have a gameboy from 2002 that still works. I got my switch in 2018 and its already falling to pieces

today on the...... ACTUAL AND TRUTHFUL REVIEW SHOW!!! Friend, don't listen to those other reviews for one reason.... THEIR COMPLETE AND TOTAL NONSENSE. First off, let me go ahead and address the stupidest and most asinine issue we have here today..... reads script...... the price of ga-starts laughing uncontrollably-( five minutes later)-more uncontrollable laughter- ok, sorry, about that friends, its just...... more uncontrollable laughter..... please standby.......... ok folks sincerely sorry about that. takes a deep breath... that dumb thing you keep hearing about, the " unpayable price nintendo charges for their games ", well friend let me help you out their. Its not just nintendo!!!!!!!! its EVERY SINGLE video game company out their ( except smaller studios such as indie studios ). Why is this, you ask. Well my friend its the simple fact that the cost to make games has become VERY great, and with and increase in cost of development, comes an increase in the cost of the game. Why you ask, are some games less than 60 dollars then? well you see, the games nintendo, xbox, and playstation produce are known as triple a games. if you dont know what that is I recomend you look it up, but essentially its a game with a high budget and expensive development cost. Mario, Zelda, Halo, Spider man, Gears of war, Forza games, Pokemon, e.t.c are all AAA games, as well as most of any first party games youve ever heard of. Therefore its stupid and utterly ridiculous to call nintendo " scammers " for charging you 60 dollars for their high quality, high budget games. Now, with that out of the way, I can finnally talk about the things that REALLY matter. Now, console wise nintendo is the ruler of handhelds thats for dang sure. the steam deck and rog ally consoles come nowhere close to the greatness and success that nintendo has achieved with its nintendo switch. I previously had one and have recently upgraded to the switch 2, and while both consoles are great, the switch 2 does what the switch could not: combine the convinience of being handheld with the power of almost an xbox series s, some might argue even more so as the switch 2 has newer technology such as DLSS. The switch 2 is more powerful, bigger, better, and alot more comfortable than the original switch, as well as offering new things such as the new mouse mode and gamechat/gameshare. Thats not to take away from its predessesor however, as it is also a good console, but with as much power as the switch 2 has, it can actually support many 3rd party games, which makes it more of a console you can own without the need for a playstation or xbox if you wanting to play 3rd party games like cyberpunk 2077 and such. Another large thing to consider is that even if none of the current switch 2 titles for 2025 catch youre eye right now, the next 7 plus years of nintendo exclusives: mario, zelda, pokemon, etc, will be released on this console while the switch will slowly but surely start getting a lack of support and games. overall I have a ps5 as well, and prefur my switch 2 as it is more comfortable and has a better selection of first party games. now as far as games go... nintendo rules the family kid friendly side of things with a wealth of E rated games to last you for years to come. I CANNOT, however complement neither xbox nor playstation on this. they tend to lean towards Teen and Mature rated games, with few exeptions such as astro bot, and racthet and clank on ps5. as someone who is " hyper hawkeyed by my parents, trust me youre gonna want to go with a switch if you have a child around 10 or younger. I will say however, that my parents are UNSUALLY strict and that if you have a child like 12 and up ( depends on maturity ) that a ps5 would be great for teen rated titles like the spiderman games, the horizon games, and of course the uncharted games, as well as others. personally i wish i could play those games very much but I REALLY like my switch 2 and the games are good for young and old alike. My personal favourites that I would recomend are the two zelda games OH MY GOSH, they are SOOOOOOOOO GOOD, metroid prime remastered ( its STUNNING ), and super mario odyssey. dont have a lot o ps5 so cant really recomend a whole lot, but without taking away from other consoles and games I would definitely say the switch 2 is probaly youre bes bet, but if you have kids, dont go with the xbox, as its has like... zero kid games. welp, thats all from me, hope you found this review helpful.

Result? Pre-order was charged on my card this morning and no news from customer service.
