Don't buy Nissan juke they need to recall them as mine cuts out while going along and I call my juke Renault joke
Don't buy Nissan juke unless u got a unlimited bank account and don't recommend jukes at all
If I could I would burn 🔥 my juke at Nissan n tell Nissan what they can do with it

nissan continues with bad attitude

So nissan continue with bad attitude, and make me fool again, from what i see nissan don’t take serious at all my situation with broken car only with almost 900km. So they transfer me to social media team, what a solution for problem.
I go to derigister you’re qashqai and stop insurance, just evacuate it direct back to dealer. This is top of ignore the problem, forward customer to social media team.

I brought a Nismo 370z that was just a …

I brought a Nismo 370z that was just a few months old, it having its pdi at nissan Manchester.
I had its first service at West Way Mill Hill. All was good.
Some time later I discovered that the car still had its transportation blocks fitted to its front suspension.
I paid a quick visit to my local dealer thinking that they would remove them straight away. Wrong, they would not look at it for 3 weeks.
I contacted Nissan customer service, and the advice I received was, try another dealer or get the RAC to remove them.
Thanks Nissan, great customer service!

Unreliable Nissan

In December 2015 I bought a Nissan Qashqai with 15000 miles on the clock.
It has now done 27000 and has been regularly serviced according to the Nissan service schedules by reputable motor companies.

On 6th March we drove to Amersham from our home ,a distance of about 250 miles to attend a funeral. We returned on 8th March after a seemingly uneventful trip of about 250 miles..

When we arrived home we became away of a tinny tinkling sound from underneath the car which turned out to be coming from the CVT gearbox.

Telephone calls to three local Nissan dealers next morning elicited the response that they could not even look at it in under 3 weeks.

This left us with a predicament as both my wife and I
are both in our 70s and needing transport for medical appointments etc.

Eventually I was referred to a firm of Auto gearbox specialists who diagnosed a collapsed bearing in the gearbox.

I was left with three options.
a) Pay for a new Nissan gearbox.Cost over £7000
b) Buy a secondhand gearbox .cost from £600
c) Strip and rebuild the existing gearbox. Cost negotiated down to £2500

While the car was off the road for 8 days I had to hire a car but to minimise the costs I limited the hire to four days.

Emails to Nissan requesting some contribution to the costs incurred (£2620) first of all brought a telephone call from a customer service representative who was very understanding an gave me the impression that Nissan would be prepared to contribute to the cost.
I was also encouraged by the following which is published on Nissan’s web site.
“Nissan Customer Promise

We want you to be completely satisfied with the on-going quality and performance of your vehicle. You’re the focus of all we do, and we’re committed to providing the highest levels of service and aftercare that you can find. So, whether you are an existing Nissan customer, whether you bought your car new or used, there’s no time limit on how long you can enjoy the benefits from our promises. That is our promise.”

How naïve am I?

Today I got a call from a Nissan customer service manager who basically enied all liability for their gearbox failure.

Basically he said that if I had bought the car from Nissan and took it to Nissan they would have provided alternative transport and repaired the fault – at a cost.
No recognition that 3 Nissan dealers were unavailable for 3 weeks and told me no courtesy cars were available.

His implied message was that if you buy from other sources than Nissan you deserve all you get and you will get no help from Nissan

They give no recognition that the vehicle has covered a mere 27000 miles.

No recognition that at the time of the failure we felt abandoned by Nissan and had to take action to get the car repaired quickly in order to carry on with our lives.

According to Sale of Goods products should be fit for purpose.

By no stretch of the imagination can a gearbox which crashes after only 27000 miles and four years be called fit for purpose.

It should also be mentioned that internet surfing reveals many people suffering failures of this Nissan CVT gearbox both here and in the US. In fact the Nissan warranty in the US has been extended from to 100000 miles to cater for these failures.
This point was dismissed by the Nissan manager on the grounds that we don’t know if it’s the same gearbox.
That is irrelevant. I say they have extended it because of the effect that t would have on Nissan sales and the treat of a class action..

The moral in all this is that if you aren’t 100% loyal to Nissan they don’t want to know you.
