Review of Prakash's No Frills in…

Review of Prakash's No Frills in Surrey, BC:

This place is disgusting. Dealt with the worst customer service and when I asked to get a customer service number the cashier didn't know, which anyone who has ever worked retail knows that is an lie. Then, I asked to speak to a manager because the experience was awful and conveniently the person wasn't there (again, I don't believe it). Because of the incompetent customer service here, I lost a few items from my cart. I wish customer service skills were actually taught to staff. Even if company policies are backwards, as a worker it would be nice to come up with a solution instead of being rude. Just because the company policies are out of touch with reality, doesn't mean that customer service should be thrown out the window. I will be boycotting this location. Which is fine, because it lacks much of what I need and the prices aren't that great. I guess it's my fault for shopping at a cheap store and expecting anything but cheap, crappy service.

Prices have gone "bananas".

The no frills I go to is great for produce and the staff are very friendly and helpful but the pricing is gone "bananas"!! There are so many items I used to buy frequently at no frills but the difference in theirs compared to Walmart has made it worth the trip to my least favorite store. Sale prices at no frills are more than regular price at Walmart! What's with that??? When your prices go up, it shouldn't double either!! Your prices are beat!! And beat by quite a bit!!

Can some one tell me why when the other…

Can some one tell me why when the other tellers, (all of three) are busy with customers, that the one person standing at the self check out doing nothing will not let a person with a cart use the self check out?
I had 8 items and could not find the other stuff that was not on store shelves I went there for, after trying to reason with this girl, I was so frustrated that I left my cart there and they can keep the dollar for the cart! That will be the last time I ever shop there.

Mike's no frills

The Mike's no frills on Hastings in Vancouver, was a very good store to shop at and the shelves were always stocked and staff were always helpful. Now the shelves are half to three quarters empty and staff do not seem to care.
Management does not seem to give a rats butt about the day staff and seem to not care unless you are on a student visa from India working at night.

No PC Points issued upon Checkout - (Trevors No Frills, Winnipeg)

At Checkout (Winnipeg - Trevors No Frills) the PC Optimum points offered (6000) in the flyer didn't appear. When I asked the cashier, she summoned a supervisor, who went into an office to find out. He came out that its the fault of the Optimum system. They had no manual overide capability to correct the problem or satisfy the deal offered. I chose to leave all my groceries behind, as I was in no mood for a fight. They should show a little more leadership and empower staff to do the right thing so that a customer leaves satisfied.

No Frills used to be my go to grocery…

No Frills used to be my go to grocery store for my weekly groceries. However I haven't consistently bought from them in almost 9 years. I found that every time I brought my groceries home sometimes parts of it would have mold or be rotten. The staff were also extremely unfriendly and never wanted to help me or other customers. The only reason it was my go to was because it has amazing deals. I have been buying my weekly groceries at Freshco instead because they have similar prices and better quality food and product.

Mike's No Frills in Thornhill is my go to no frills. It's always stocked up with food, and every day essentials like toilet paper, soap, etc. The staff is always quick to help me. But recently I've been noticing they are understaffed, and their workers are quite unresponsive and don't want to help you.

No Frills is my go to grocery store

No Frills is my go to grocery store, they always have great deals going on for everything from fruit to produce, to veggies. The staff is always super helpful and there's always workers on the floor to ask for assistance. I've saved a lot of money on groceries because of all their coupons and sales. 10/10 grocery store!

Excellent Customer Service

This is a note of appreciation for Andrew from No Frills at South Common Mall, Erin Mills, Mississauga who helped fetch the products from the in-store warehouse when the items were sold out on the shelves. I thank him for this patience and effort. He made me feel every customer matters. Thank you.

10/02/21 Worse Service one could imagine.

10/02/21. No Frills New Hamburg.
Our Family has shopped there for years now it has to be the worse place. Unfriendly Service , a Manager plain ugly. I am Elderly and used self serve, it could not read the amount of my Groceries, no one there to help. When I finally found help I was told it was “”self serve “ and they could not assist. It was mid morning no one on two cash registers and they could not help ???When I asked for the Manager and she arrived I was told the same thing but this missable person had the nerve to say “ if you can’t handle the self serve maybe you need to shop some place else!!!!!! I know it is hard to believe but the truth. But all one has to do and read all the other Reviews. Nothing but complaints. We do no longer shop there. I had informed No Frills CO but never heard a word, There is a Sobeys around the corner and we shop there and also at WM.

No frills at Upper Paradise and…

No frills at Upper Paradise and Stonechurch in Hamilton have the worst managers. Kenny and Cindy yell at their employees and treat them like crap except for the ones that kiss their butt. They are rude to customers make the customers and staff feel so small because these 2 managers make sure the whole store hears them. They have lost lots of their good paying customers. These managers have no class and love to make their employees cry right on the sales floor. I will not stoup to their level and i have quit working there. I loved going to my job but when these to people took over that was the end for me. hope they go down hill .

Assaulted by a No Frills employee; manager did nothing

I was just yelled at, and my partner assaulted, by an insolent employee at Gibson's No Frills (Franklin Blvd. in Cambridge ON) who took offense to me saying (exact quote) "for Christ's sake" when I discovered half of my shopping list from the store's ad was unavailable. (So much for plans for Thanksgiving dinner.)
The store manager apologized and promised to do practically nothing about a loyal customer being assaulted by his employee.
We are seniors. My partner, who is a very tough woman, was chased around, accosted in her face by a non-distanced man (not a kid), yelled at and followed when she tried to walk away. She was pretty shaken.
The manager promised he would report to the union, who would do practically nothing. He offered us exactly zero, in even assurances we wouldn't be assaulted again if we came back. Just a smirk and an acknowledgement that we probably won't come back to the store.
I'm thinking there are a lot of places that appreciate loyal customers. This sure enough isn't one. There goes roughly $10,000 a year in our business. I'm guessing if a few dozen fellow shoppers did the same, they'd figure out that competent stores protect their customers.
