A really efficient platform
Even if there were many sections to fill out, it was easy to complete my profile in the platform, thanks to the examples provided. In a short period of time, I was able to get in contact with the person who finally took care of my dog. When I had a doubt, I received the support I needed through e-mail.

i am disappointed with nomador
i am disappointed with nomador. The sitter i arranged through the platform was canceled last minute that cause inconvenience. Despite reaching out to nomador for assistance, i felt their response was inadequate. I expected more support in handling this kind of situations. I am sure if will use this platform again

Please know that cancellations that go against the agreed dates are extremely rare on Nomador, and when they do happen, we take them very seriously. Our team works to support both homeowners and sitters in these situations — and we’re sorry if the assistance you received didn’t feel sufficient.
For added peace of mind, we’ve also introduced an optional cancellation protection service in some of our subscription plans. This can help cover unexpected costs such as alternative accommodation, pet care, or transportation, when facing a cancellation.

Sit completed on 21 November 2024, still no request for feedback/review from Nomador on my last sit, why is this taking so long with NO contact from Nomador? Very disappointing. not a proactive source from Nomador, why is this negativity permitted, not a good image for Nomador, Why? I under impression feedback requested within 10 days of sit completion so why has this not occurred please? A prompt reply please. Thank you.

Comfortably relaxing stay in Lille
Our homestay was a particularly nice fit, only three hours drive away. The house owners were very friendly and kind to lend us their home during the Christmas celebrations. Looking after their cat Olly has been a lovely experience.

no moderation from Nomador
I had a dishonest and bad review over my house-sitting. I did not agree with is. I provided pictures, conversation snapshots and videos to reestablish the truth. I wrote a lengthy email to make my point : nobody likes to be accused of something they did not do. The admins of Nomador did not take it into account : the bad review stays on my profile. In other words, they are being paid but it is solely for the website. No aftersales, no moderation, no insurance policy, no reliability. If anything, even the smallest thing goes wrong, you are alone. Then they will send you a generic email about "trust relation, good will, close attention, blabla".

When it works, it works well
When it works, it works really well. The house sitters/pet sitters who have actually come to our place have been wonderful people who have been conscientious and trustworthy. It has been a true joy to know them. However, on more than one occasion, insincere applicants have misled us into accepting their offers to care for our home and pets when, in fact they either didn't have the means or the intention to follow through with the commitments they had made. There are some excellent and truthful members on Nomador, but there are also those who should not be trusted. The Nomador platform should make every effort to weed out and delist those who cannot or will not or do not keep their commitments.
