Gave a loan promise. Promised for 5% downpayment. Last minute when about to sign the contract backed off leaving us high and dry!
Gave so many reasons which did not make sense! Looked more like so many personal reasons than facts!
My card was blocked because my payments were considered suspicious. I called the bank, and the bank employee didn't find anything suspicious, but the card can't be unblocked. And I'm left without money for a week abroad!
Really bad behavior they promised a house loan, we did everything as they said and then left us high and dry because the calculations didnt match after we have done everything. I have been a customer with them for 9 years and number of times they helped me is 1. Most unprofessional bank.
I advise you to stay away from this bank does not stand for the deposit guarantee that they promise.
SEK 10,000 inexplicably disappeared from my account, probably through some crooked bank employee or through an unauthorized transaction.
The theft was reported to the police but was not resolved and the money was not returned to the account.
They do not respect eu law. Just set their rules. Very bad bank
First, I should point out that I have never been disappointed with their customer service. I had a private account and company account and it always worked just fine. So did their systems most of the time. However, I decided very recently to close my account due to the fact that they never offered a good interest rate discount. They always claimed we already have a good discount and at the moment I am paying more than the average 3-month rate for a home that costs over 6 mil with a 1.3 mil loan. Rest assured for this reason only, I will never come back to this bank. I have moved all savings outside of the bank for both accounts and the loan is in the process of moving. Next will follow the other family member accounts. At the moment, they have the highest interest rates in the ranking compared to other banks. Never consult them for loans, simply choose any other bank and you will be in better luck.

Banks forget one thing, they don't exist without the people's money AND they don't have any money, because it's all made up. If people realised that and withdrew all their money all banks would collapse...
Until then, we still have to fight those morons for the most simple things!

I was in Nordea Alvik and the customer service agent was so rude to some old couples. The people are a little older but also had a problem with understanding Swedish but she was just screaming at them. The one I met also was so rude and standoffish. I have never met this kind of customer service in my life like seriously.

Honestly the powers given to banks on Bank Id especially Nordea bank is absurd, understandably that you don’t want a customer to use your services , but it’s totally unacceptable for your bank to block the ex-customers from using the bank ID service from other banks, it’s oppressive, unethical, monopolized and prejudice ,it’s like saying we don’t need you but we can destroy you, the so called in the box thinking by your bank has given birth to so many people’s frustration and depression.Bank I’d are used for other services outside your bank so you know.

Nordea constantly breaks its commitments with its customers. I had a membership loan and Nordea suddenly decides to decommission its membership loan plan and left me with paying with twice as much as interest rate I used to pay in that plan. DO NOT open account in this bank they even charge you on their mobile app they offer to their customers. I am looking for another bank to transfer. The term 'Membership Loan' or 'Medlemslån' does not exist in the Nordea system anymore. I signed a contract specifically based on the conditions of that Membership Loan. However, Nordea unilaterally revoked its commitments after a few months despite the contract, which sends a distrustful signal to its customers.

Told by young woman customer service I cannot open an account with German passport and Swedish Personal Number but must show a Swedish ID card + housing contract + work contract (despite 15 years as a Nordea-Denmark customer?) THIS CONTRADICTS LAW OF ACCESS.
I have a account with them and I am a Swedish citizen living in UK will be retired soon from Sweden and would like to move back to Sweden and buy a small property .Trying for the past 2 years having internet banking, Bank ID but they refused me told me I need to go into a branch so travelled 3 times to Sweden and each time they said it was ok for me to have a online banking now today got a nasty call from a number +46101572356 saying I have no right to internet banking but I know lots of swedes who are retired and live overseas have internet banking either no one knows what they are talking about or I am being discriminated for having a foreign name. The rude person advice me to close my account which i am not going to do but planning to sue Nordea Bank.
I will be moving to Sweden and was thinking of opening an account with a Swedish bank. Nordea was the first bank I considered and has failed beyond imagination to schedule a simple online meeting to discuss the procedural part with one of its ‘experts’. There is a complete lack of customer service, which makes me wonder how the bank can still be in business in 2023

We had a very special case. We moved to Sweden from Germany last year and wanted to buy a house this year as our current rental house is terrible. There were extreme delays in employee registration at Skatteverket, so our house bank canceled our mortgage because there was still no Swedish income in our account (we still got it paid to Germany). You look pretty stupid when you have signed a sales contract and the house bank then complains because my husband was still not registered with the Skatteverket and had not received a Swedish salary. So we were considered "unemployed" in Sweden, even though we both work. So there is an immigrant German family with a purchase contract and a bailed out bank and Nordea managed to get a mortgage within ONE WEEK. The support team's eagerness to work was unbelievable and actually we had already given up on everything, but the Nordea made it possible and literally saved our butts! I have to say that any German bank would have blocked such a project immediately and we are really very surprised at how quickly and easily Nordea was able to solve our problem! We are very thankful!
We really had problems because we only existed through our personal numbers. There was no proof of income at the Skatteverket, not at the UC, nowhere because there were heavy delays at our tax office.
The Nordea really did a first class job, although almost everything was lost.

This bank is a joke, truly embarassing, would give 0 stars if possible. I have been trying to receive my salary on my personal bank account (another bank) for two months now and they haven't managed to register my account yet. I have sent the module four times via post (yes it's 2023) and brought one copy in person to an office, they are not even able to tell me whether they have received any copy. Worst customer service ever, no help whatsoever and they don't take any sort of responsibility for the poor service they offer. When asked the name or identification number of the operator on the phone they just hung up on me.

Nordea Block my mobile BankID with no real big reason ! They decide also to close my account !!! The reason they said about transection's I done !! What was that i never knew it cause i didn't receive any post or E-post of that question... I agree there it was big mount of money was my mistake i do think was think to help friend .. after i replay for that last transaction then bank again send same same letter copy and paste just change date !! All that happened DURING NORDEA BLOCKING MY BANK ID and when i order new BankID from SEB bank its blocked direct when i need to sign whatever account Bank or Tax-Services or ... All my in-out transection in Nordea in Sweden not from other country also its show in history from who !! Also its never been more than 5000 send or receive!!! So what real reason ??

I have been a customer of this bank in Sweden and unfortunately, I have to say that I am not impressed. The bank lacks dynamism and is forward-thinking, failing to provide the kind of services and features that would attract the working class. Unfortunately, the bank also has a poor reputation among many Swedish people. In my opinion, the bank needs to invest in a serious marketing campaign in order to rebuild its reputation and attract more customers.
