Beautiful country and Snori was a great guide. Particularly the stories about his pastor grandfather and a visit to his country church,

We had a great tour of Scandinavia using planes, trains and ferry's. All planned by them. It worked really well all transfers were easy and most within walking distance of the hotels.
Had a couple of small issues but were fixed within a couple of hours. Plus they give you things to do and see when at the location you are going to as an extra value. Will use them again. Brilliant.

Staff in the office were extremely responsive and excellent communicators. Our tour guide was efficient but informative and fun and the driver was also very experienced and excellent.

My wife and I booked the Highlights of Norway in 10 Days tour with Nordic Visitor and had the trip of a lifetime.

We flew in to Bergen a day early and utilized the private airport transfer. This experience was extremely smooth and we would do it again. Nordic Visitor provided recommendations for us on our free day that were greatly appreciated such as the Floibanen Funicular and dinner at Bryggeriet.

The trip offered a nice balance of structured activities and meals with the group as well as free time to explore and book our own activities. Some of our favorite stops were the Stegastein viewpoint, Loen Skylift, Geiranger (Hotel Union was phenomenal), and Trondheim.

Emiliano, our tour guide, was everything you want in a guide. He was knowledgeable, organized, and a clear communicator. Emiliano was very personable and got to know everyone on the tour as he never seemed to run out of energy. He handled any setbacks, delays, or weather constraints with grace.

We would absolutely book another tour with Nordic Visitor and would be ecstatic if we showed up and Emiliano was our guide.

We squeezed in more highlights than I expected. Knowledgeable and accommodating guide and driver were also very friendly. They enjoyed showing off their Ireland. Geraldine, Darin, and Gavin worked well together. Glad we had the incursion into Northern Ireland and the tour to the Peace Wall giving us a recent historical perspective.

Dave and John were knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and pretty funny sometimes as well. Driving in Scotland is not easy and sometimes challenging. John’s driving made me feel comfortable and safe. Dave took a personal interest in everyone and made all in the group feel included. Many thanks to both for all they did to make the tour enjoyable!

Dave and driver John were superb hosts! Dave had a delightful combination of humor and care for all of us. Very much enjoyed hearing about his adventures growing up in the country. Great job engaging us with stories, jones, and asking about us. Playing our music choices while on the bus was a great choice. To sum it up, Dave is a treasure. John drove perfectly through some very rainy and windy weather. He has a really lovely personality as well.

The itinerary was wonderful, everywhere we visited was either fascinating, spectacular or both. The initial organisation and booking process was great and changes we needed at very short notice were sorted quickly and efficiently. The support, via the 24 hour emergency line when required was excellent. We would have liked the trip to be longer so it felt less rushed and more time could be spent in Bergen and in Oslo. Our only criticism is with Havila Lounge Cruise, which we have passed on to Nordic Visitor.

Barbara and John were fantastic! Barbara was both knowledgeable and fun. John provided safe travels and fun conversation. Highly recommended!

Huge shout out to John our driver and Barbara our guide! Both were just wonderful and super friendly. John took great care of us on the roads and drove with care. Barbara is a fantastic storyteller and very knowledgeable, always happy to answer any questions we had. Always had very clear communication about our plans for the day, and when and where to meet. Scotland itself was stunning!

Great way to see Scotland especially if you don’t want to drive yourself. The guide Barbara was very knowledgeable and fun. We loved John, our driver! We did spend a lot of time on the van but that’s really the only way to see everything we did. I do recommend the tour.

Nordic Visitor took care of full Itinerary for Norway vacation, everything was very well laid out and complete document package was waiting for us upon vehicle pickup. The selected stops, excursions, and hotels were fantastic and provided for a very memorable experience. Would recommend to anyone considering travel, thank you to Jemima and Nordic for this.

Our trip to Iceland with our family of 6 was fabulous! We worked with Hanna Lara Asgeirsdottir to plan our self driving tour and itinerary. It could not have been more perfect. With her patience and understanding of our needs, we had time to really visit, appreciate and experience this beautiful country. It's one of the best trips we have taken to date!

The tour was excellent in every facet making for a very enjoyable trip. The reservation process was smooth and executed well. The driver, Jan, did a great job and was professional. The tour leader, Emiliano, was outstanding: very knowledgeable, managed each day perfectly, interesting, and experienced. The tour attractions were well chosen with the right amount of planned time and free time. Well done Nordic Visitor!

The tour manager did an excellent job describing our destinations and keeping us informed ahead of time about our activities. If he didn’t know the answer to a question, he found the answer and then told us. Varied activities which we enjoyed.
We appreciated having dinner options. Food was generally good, but venison dinner was not good.

We are back home after a wonderful 14 day Norway Road trip that Nordic Visitor meticulously organized for us.
I am glad to point out the attentive, pleasant and well thought out planning . We really enjoyed this road trip very much and hope to use their services in the future , maybe for Iceland.Last but not least a very special mention to Irja and her team for making this trip so efficient and enjoyable .

What Zachary could not have known at the time was how deeply Iceland would stay with me. Throughout the journey, I found myself taking notes, observing, and asking questions about the extraordinary relationship between the Icelandic landscape, nature, and human life. Those thoughts eventually became my published book, KANNSKI — not a conventional travel book, but a philosophical reflection inspired by Iceland.

My husband and I used Nordic Visitor for our 16 day vacation to Scandinavia from May-June 2026. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the excellent service we received from Jemima Chesterfield and her amazing team! All of our questions were answered in a very timely manner and our itinerary throughout our trip was flawless! We traveled independently for the most part using trains, ships and plane. All of our travel connections were perfectly set-up in advance so our travels were made easy. The hotels that the company selected were great and were situated within walking distance to many of the many cultural sites. We highly recommend using Nordic Visitor!
