Bottle for life
Bottle for life! Only if you're a hamster!
The original product was pretty useless, so I re-filled with a bleach solution. Am only halfway through that and the nozzle will no longer work, whereas the Cif bottle has been re-filled about 5-6 times and is fine.
Will not buy again.

Plastic free cleaning is the future
I started using Ocean Saver just over a year ago and its maasively reduced my single use plastic consumption and kept my kitchen clean. The lemon degreaser is a must have.

Good company but please sellbrush heads without handles!
Dispatch is very quick and items arrived well packaged.The kitchen cleaner is great, this is our second time getting some. Haven't tried the cloths or brush yet. However, the cloths are more expensive than our usual plastic-free cloths but now they've arrived they look a bit flimsy and like they won't last very long - that remains to be seen though. The brush looks great and so do the brush heads. My only complaint is there isn't an option to buy replacement brush heads on their own - only 3 alongside another brush handle. Our last brush handle from another company has lasted us 3 years so far (though needs replacing soon) so we'll have to buy replacement brush heads elsewhere until Ocean Savers stock them separately to the brush handles! For that reason alone it's 4 stars instead of 5.

Useless
I bought the bathroom cleaner as always looking for ways to be environmentally friendly. These products looked ideal. Not so. As per other reviews, this is no better than water. No scent, so doesn’t smell clean and left water marks and stains on everything. I had to redo with other tried and tested products. Big fail so won’t buy again.

First time using ocean saver products. Took a while to arrive but worth the wait. I like that there’s no strong chemical or bleach smell to any of the cleaning products and that they clean really well, especially the degreaser. I’m looking to reduce single use plastic as much as possible, so ocean saver is a big help

Whilst I applaud the ethos of the company using plant-based cleaners and cutting down on the plastic in the oceans, I cannot recommend the bathroom cleaner. The tablet took more than 2 days to fully dissolve meaning I couldn't use it when I wanted to. The bottle squirts rather than sprays, and then drips. The cleaner itself leaves streaks on glass meaning I have to go over the surface several times, and it doesn't clean as well as my previous one. Won't be buying again.

We recommend mixing our Bathroom EcoDrop with warm water to speed up the mixing process. If you're finding your bottle is spraying and dripping it could be that a small piece of the EcoDrop is stuck so we'd recommend rinsing with some hot water. Once again we apologise for the experience you've had and hope that you'll be able to try other products in the range that suit your needs.

I’m not convinced this product it anything more than coloured water! My impression of this company was not helped by receiving 3 empty bottles (in error) at first. Why is a supposedly eco company selling empty plastic bottles? Any just ordinary bottles of the type that are thrown out every day. Looking at the people behind this company they seem to be serial eco-entrepreneurs, ie focused on making money rather than producing genuinely low eco- impact product.

Our bottles are made of 100% Prevented Ocean Plastic. This is 100% recycled plastic that has been sourced within 30 miles of a coastline or major waterway that is put at major risk due to plastic pollution, the plastic is collected before it reaches the Ocean where it would become unusable and then turned in to new products (including our bottles) giving it another life. Our bottles are then designed to be used for life, meaning that the plastic has been kept out of the Ocean. On top of this, using plastic for our bottle option means it's far lighter to transport these than say glass or aluminium. However, we would always encourage customers to use any old bottles they may have lying around the house before thinking of purchasing a Bottle for Life, to make sure that existing plastic's lifespan is being put to work. We can assure you that the heart of OceanSaver is about reducing single use plastic in the cleaning category and beyond, our refills are some of the cheapest on the market to keep eco friendly choices accessible. It's a shame to hear that this is the impression you've developed of OceanSaver as I can assure you it's not the case.

'bottle for life' doesn't squirt…
'bottle for life' doesn't squirt properly and the cleaning product isn't great. Will be returning to B&q. I seriously don't think these reviews can be real. The bathroom tab took ages to dissolve and the product did nothing to clean.

It sounds like there may be a small piece of your EcoDrop stuck in the trigger spray which can be easily solved by running some hot water through the whole trigger to dissolve this - if you've not returned your product please do give this a go. I've been using Ocean Saver products for almost 2 years and recommend them to everyone. The pods clean well and I love that I can reuse spray bottles that I already own. They are so simple to use too. The scents are lovely which is an added bonus!
