After purchasing, the 3 seater Graduate & Single Historian Chesterfield a year ago.
after receiving good customer Service from Jenny the first time.

I decided to go back to Old Boots Showroom
To purchase a small 2 seater Historian, to make my Living room complete.

I am so happy with my purchase, yes it does take a long time patience is a virtue !!!!

Customer Service is always on point , from communication throughout as to what stage the Sofa is at & to completion, thank you Pete for keeping me informed throughout .

Fab new velvet sofa. Was made aware of lead time at time of purchase. Communication was excellent throughout - by phone and email, and delivery ended up a couple of weeks earlier than expected.

5 months later we’re still waiting for our delivery, we were given a 12 week timescale on purchase. Only 3 weeks ago after many emails we were told it’s a foam infill issue. Now we are being told it’s the delivery company who are busy. I called the delivery company who told me he can deliver within a week as there’s not much on at the moment, he actually said he can deliver within 48 hours.
I have family from the USA coming to stay with a baby, in 2 weeks time, where do they sit? Despicable!

From the sample requests, to online viewing, to arrival of sofa, footstool and chair have all been a positive experience. The Old Boot sales team were very patient (I couldn’t decide on a colour at first!) and informative with the type of cushion filling that would suit me. I have felt informed all the way through the process and email contact has been excellent. Delivery was excellent and the two guys delivering added the legs and feet and placed the sofa where I wanted it. Finally the sofa, footstool and chair are magnificent! The quality is outstanding and the comfort level perfect.

Our 2 seater historian chesterfield was delivered last week. Old Boots kept us informed throughout the process. The delivery men were brilliant, so helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend this company. The sofa is extremely well made and just as described.

Our 2 sofas have just been delivered and they are fabulous. The whole experience from ordering to delivery was first class. The company that delivered them were also very helpful and went the extra mile in helping us remove the old sofas

Absolutely delighted by our Old Boot XLBattersea Leather Sofa. From entering the Fulham store where I was given great customer service and advice to accepting delivery yesterday I experienced faultless service. Special thanks to the delivery lads who went the extra mile in semi-dismantling and reassembling when we realised that our cottage layout meant that this was necessary. Many thanks to Old Boot, would highly recommend them!

Love there couches, great product. There service on delivery is just shocking. I order a couch and had an issue of waiting 3 weeks and complaining about non self From their delivery company before they did the delivery themselves.
Order another item, waited the 3 months for it to me made, then letting them know if the issue they insisted that their delivery company will be on top of it. I was told they would collect the item after 1 week, and then deliver it within 2 weeks. So have not received notification that it has even been collected, and it is over 2 weeks already. So go ahead and order the product, but don’t expect to get it on the day they promise, maybe had an additional month or 2.

We love everything about our Old Boot sofas. From visiting the store in Fulham to being updated every step of the way to the fantastic delivery guys it’s been a wonderful experience. Thank you.

Where to begin...I was searching for a high quality sofa that was ready to be delivered. After what must have been a month of looking, I came across the perfect green velvet three seat 'Howard' in their outlet section of their website. I went into the shop to give it a try and talk to the sales team. They had the Howard chair on their showroom floor and it was absolutely perfect; it was really well made and super squishy. I immediately paid and set up delivery - it was all very smooth and the sales person was super friendly (A+++ all around).

The sofa arrived promptly in 2 week's time and was in mint condition. After putting it together (screwing on feet and placing cushions), I noticed the cushions were as solid as marble. I made another trip into London (from the Guildford area) to check the cushions on the display unit and talk to the sale people. Again, they were super sweet and explained that there is a non-standard 'firm' infill which has zero give and believed these were in my sofa. When I asked if it would ever soften up, she pointed to an armchair they had in the showroom for I think she said 3 years and she said it was a stiff as the day it arrived. She said to contact the service department to have mine changed out.

This is where things went downhill, in a hurry. The service department contested the assertion the infills were the firm ones and asked that I wait a 3-6 weeks to see if they soften up. Surprise! They did not. They then asked for me to send pictures of the infill so they may inspect them. The infills are sealed in a bag which cannot be opened; still I obliged. After I asked if these were the softer infills, they said they could not confirm because they were sealed in the bag, but 'are as expected'. What does that even mean?!?!

After this colossal waste of time, they finally agreed to order new infills for a cost of £60k and it would take 6 weeks. After speaking to them (arguing about why they've wasted my time and what they meant by nonsensical response 'as expected') they agreed to not charge for the inserts, they will order them, but it will now be 10-12 weeks.

Fantastic! The extra few weeks and all of this fuss is super annoying, but at least I'll finally get the inserts. After many missed follow ups resulting in lots of chasing, the day had arrived - my infills made it to their warehouse (only two more weeks away) - hooray! But wait, I'm now being informed that I'll need to pay my 'outstanding balance' of £75. When I called, I was told 'why yes, it's £60 for the infills and £15 for shipping'.

This was the breaking point for me - I can no longer deal with this company. I hate, hate saying anything disparaging about small business in general and really wanted to love this little store. The sofa is beautiful, well-made and what I was looking for, but is a showpiece as it is massively uncomfortable. Such a shame. To cap it all of, they've misspelled my name in email, even after I corrected them.

I wish anyone working with Old Boot nothing but a great experience. Mine was a series of frustrations which ended in my name purposely being misspelled.

We ordered a Battersea Sofa Bed 2 weeks ago and have just had it delivered. We are absolutely delighted. The quality of the sofa is brilliant and the customer service we had from Jenny was great. The delivery men had trouble getting the sofa into the house but Jenny was brilliant. She guided the delivery men on how to remove the sofa arms allowing the sofa to fit. We would strongly recommend Old Boot to anyone! Thank you for our new sofa.

Just received a Howard Snuggler. Looks great. Friendly sales team/ kept up to date on production/delivery - all on time and good value against the competition.

We ordered a Hepburn armchair in vintage leather, during lockdown, so all dealt with online. We were told 12-14 weeks or sooner and we would get updates. Communication was ok and the chair was delayed due to infills, I had to chase for this information, no bother, we were in no hurry, but delivery came after 16 weeks. We love the chair, there are some defects where the stuffing is uneven and the seat cushion leather seems quite 'loose' already...hopefully this is just the character settling in. Minor scrape on side on delivery after unwrapping. We would love to order a sofa (or 2) but will wait a while to see how the chair wears in...and perhaps request reversible seat cushions next time. All in all very happy, so much better than mass produced furniture.

Top quality furniture and great company to do business with very friendly and efficient would highly recommended old boot sofas

Bought two Howard leather armchairs, our 4th and 5th purchase from Old Boots. Great design, excellent quality of leather and beech frame, and excellent customer service.

Bit of a wait for them to be made but we knew that when we ordered and were kept informed of progress throughout. Much better quality and thicker leather than our old sofas so should last more than the 20 years those served for. After a week the cushions have softened nicely and they have become extremely comfortable to relax in. It was a bit of a tight fit to get them into our Victorian cottage but the delivery service detached one of the arms on each - so they came in through the doors with no risk of scratching.

Often in life you have to wait for something special. Our beautiful armchair has now arrived and it’s beautiful!

Just took delivery of my Hepburn Small 2-Seater Sofa in Chocolate leather with duck feather infill. It's beautifully made and wonderfully comfortable to sit in. I am delighted with it!
