We picked up our order
We picked up our order. 1)food was cold ,2) old not fresh, salad wilted, has a bunch of romaine lettuce heels, and not plentiful. 3)Lasagna not as pictured, 1- layer. Workers just don't care.
70% great
First time for take out. Salad was quite large. Not enough dressing, though. Chicken Alfredo was amazing! Steak Gorgonzola was disappointing. Steak tasted almost fake. Very chewy, hard to swallow. Pasta part was good.
Long food wait/ dirty bathroom
Good took a long time, but got Comp’s a desert.
Bathroom was nasty, dirty sinks, dirty mirror paper towels and toilet paper in multiple spots on the sticky dirty floor.
Plumbing pipe pulling out of the wall (urinal)

Worst Meal…
From the time we were seated in the back of the restaurant. Things began to go down hill. Hostess, We were told by the hostess that our server was behind. Hostess took our order. We selected the spicy meat sauce on The Never Ending Pasta Bowl. Neither of us liked this selection. We sat at least 10 minutes without anyone checking on us. We ordered our next selection of meatball pasta. Food was not up to par from past visits. Our next selection was Chicken and Gnocch Pasta and Pasta e .Fagioli. We asked for bowls to take with us. We were not offered more breadsticks, water etc. We paid the bill and were not offered bags for our food or a simple thank you. Also did not receive a receipt for the meal. We asked for bags and told staff quality of food was lacking. We should have notified manager. Olive Garden 4701Hwy 17S North Myrtle Beach, SC29582
Service was lacking
I've enjoyed the food at Olive Garden for several years but recently I've noticed a decline in their waitstaff service. I feel as though the restaurant was severely understaffed which is likely why we waited 40mins for food to come to our table. Hate to give up on a favorite go-to restaurant but part of any enjoyable dining experience is good service (along with good food!).
Our waitress was outstanding
Our waitress was outstanding. What we used to order as a full meal. Chicken fettuccine. The chicken and broccoli are now extra. When the food arrived, it looked like the pasta had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. It was tough. It used to be one of the places we would go for a special occasion. Not anymore.
Great service and food!!!!
Olive Garden has ALWAYS been one of my favorite places to eat don't know why there are so many bad reviews love it there!!! Service is normally pretty good (even if there busy) and food is exceptional!!!
77 years old they want ID
They wanted my ID to buy alcohol. They tried to say it's a law. It is not. It's a silly policy when someone is apparently older than 21, I am 77. The Alabama Barista Law says no one under 21, it does not say someone 77 years of age and they lied about it being a law. It's a store policy and it's stupid one. I complained they said they would address it and offered me a free drink. When I went back they wanted to see my ID I refused.
My Meal Was Fine
My Meal Was Fine. But my Service was terrible. My waiter never welcome us in never told us his name. And never came around to ask if are meal was okay.
This hotel is beautiful and very clean
This hotel is beautiful and very clean. The food is amazing I'm a fussy eater and honestly the food caters for everyone. I never struggled to find food i could eat actually the opposite I found too much food i could eat 😆. The staff are amazing very polite. Very friendly. Food and drink is def 5 star. Entertainment amazing they done a fire show it was the last fire show of the year. It was the most amazing fire show I've ever seen. Entertainment staff are fantastic. Honestly I read so many bad reviews before I went well I don't see what they were complaining about. The resort staff everything is amazing. I fell in love with this resort. I am doing a full family holiday next year to it. I have bad health and I had an incident nothing to do with the resort just my health and the staff could not do enough to help me. Their first aid standards are def amazing. The wee bar men at the pool are great. The pizza hut right beside the pool does the best pizza ever. The kebab hut well they were great. How could someone complain about food when you can eat from 7 am right through. The cocktails I tried everyone they are lovely. The beer the soft drinks everything was lovely. I have health issues so couldn't go down the slides but the lazy river was heaven. Floating round the lazy river in complete heaven looking at all the mountains and views. The village is lovely we went down for their Greek night and it was amazing. You will not regret booking this resort
This place is AMAZING!!
When I went here, I was treated just like royalty!! They came out and served me my food while they had a jester dancing in the corner! He was wearing a dunce cone hat and crying...but it's the thought that counts! Loved it!! 10/10!!
From start to finish
Starting from walking in the door, the hostess had an attitude. Then the waitress had a bad attitude. Now for the food. THE WORST I EVER HAD. Went for lunch,The bread sticks were cold and hard, the salad was wilted. Then the main dish was HORRIBLE. Ordered the 4 cheese ziti, hard noodles, hardly any sauce, (which was on top of the noodles), meatballs, thrown on top of the noodles with no sauce. Very bad, worse than yuck. Been years since I been to Olive Garden and now I know why, but I can’t imagine it being worse than today. Should have just handed them my money and never sat down, that is how bad it was. Will NEVER go back there again. I sure didn’t eat what was served. Oh well, lessons learned. I can’t believe they are still in business with what they served.
Olive Garden Gift Card is a Scam
Placed an order online to pickup at the Caesar Bay restaurant using three $25 gift cards and a credit card for the remaining balance. When picking up the order, I was told only 1 gift card can be used per transaction. They rejected my 2 other gift cards. I was forced to pay an addition $50 with my credit card. To me, Olive Garden gift card is not a gift card. It's coupon, only 1 coupon per transaction.
When contacted their customer service to ask if that is their gift card policy, they avoid to answer. They just reply they can only accept other methods of payment for online orders.
So disappointed
Have eaten here many times. This was hands down the worst experience, service and food.
They were not busy. We were seated right away. After 20 minutes with 5-6 different wait staff walking past, still no water, no 'hello', no 'be right with you'. Brought my concern to the front desk.
We were moved to another section and waited again...
Ordered 2 chicken parm and got 2 grilled chicken breasts, no breading. We had each taken one bite and no more. Spoke with the manager.
The waitress and manager each offered to reorder and provide a free dessert.
I was not waiting any longer for the correct order to be cooked and won't be back. Did not pay and left.
The service was terrible
The service was terrible. The weight staff was rude. The food was awful. I would not recommend it to a friend.
Favorite spot for a delicious dinner
Had such a great time at Olive Garden. The food was really fresh and so delicious especially the pasta. The service was on point everything was quick and with a smile felt just like home. Definitely coming back here again with my girlfriends!
Herb-Grilled Salmon and Zuppa Toscana Soap…
I order Herb-Grilled Salmon and Zuppa Toscana soup today that cost me $33.17 in total. The salmon fish appears to be so small piece of meat and nothing like the photo shown in their advertisement. It is cheap and cheating. And there are 7 ~ 8 fish bones in the meat that almost hurt my tongue, very dangerous and need to avoid to eat their salmon. Also, the potato in Zuppa Toscana soup are all skin on which are not my liking. The broccoli came with salmon are not as fresh as it should be in the photo. In addition, I need to tell the kitchen cooker to cook the fish as tender, or else, it will taste like dry and hard rock in the garden just like my last order a week ago, the worker who did the cooking is not well trained and very stingy to give adequate amount of the meat that I paid for it. I am going to have to open a dispute through my credit card company to get the at least 50% of refund back. And will not order from olivegarden again.
I would encourage anyone to think twice…
I would encourage anyone to think twice about taking someone to olive garden for a special occasion. You would be disappointed. The food was not worth the $100 we paid for 3. The staff looked spent. This used to be our favorite place to celebrate occasions and every birthday and there were many to celebrate. This is No longer our choice. The last few times was hugely disappointing. You will find out quickly.
Olive Garden Italian Salad Dressing
This is not a review for the restaurant its self, but for an Olive Garden product I LOVE. I'm a die hard fan of their bottled italian salad dressing. It's the only italian dressing I use, which I purchase from my local grocery store.
I happened to purchase a bottle that was defective. There was way too much parmesan cheese which affected the flavor, and made it inedible to me.
I emailed Olive Garden with my complaint, showing a comparison photo of the defective bottle next to a regular bottle. I was emailed back quickly with an apology, and I was sent a $10 gift card for any Olive Garden restaurant.
It was very sweet of them, considering it was more than the cost of the bottle of dressing. But I was still a little disappointed because I don't eat at their restaurants, I was hoping for just a coupon for a replacement bottle.
Fast forward a month or two later, I received a letter in the mail apologizing once again for the situation. Plus a coupon for a new bottle. Thank you so much!! It's all I wanted. I'll still use the $10 gift card in the future as well. They handled the situation with the utmost professionalism, and I will continue to purchase your salad dressing.
Special thanks to Katie from Olive Garden's guest relations, and Caryle V. from customer service!!!
Excellent food and Service
We made our visit after 2pm, which was the perfect time for a lunch meal. We were immediately seated in a spacious booth for the two of us. It has been years since we had been to Jonesboro, as we live 75 miles away. Covid, chemotherapy for lung cancer in 2022, and now chemotherapy for colon cancer has limited our travel. My weight loss with chemotherapy has been concerning, so after watching some shows on Italian cooking, I said I'd like to go to Olive Garden. My husband was kind enough to take me the next day.
The food was all so delicious! I got spaghetti with 4 cheese sauce, and he got tour of Italy. I ate the salad with Olive Garden dressing, and he had Italian soup. My O My! How fresh and tasty! Our waitress Morgan was so kind and attentive! We had to pack up most of our entree to take home, and we even took a desert home too! We ate the leftovers for dinner that evening.
I can't remember enjoying a meal more in many years! The atmosphere, the service, and the food was just perfect. Our Waitress Morgan was bright, cheerful, and very helpful in packing up our desserts, and getting us containers to take home. She made sure our experience was delightful.
I have 5 more chemo treatments to do before I get to ring the bell for a second time, and we will be sure to celebrate at Olive Garden!
