I've enjoyed the food at Olive Garden for several years but recently I've noticed a decline in their waitstaff service. I feel as though the restaurant was severely understaffed which is likely why we... See more

I usually order from Olive Garden…
I usually order from Olive Garden because they’re consistently good. But I ordered last night and I ordered a few of their new menu items. The manicotti and the stuffed chicken was terrible. It was so salty. I could not eat it. I also did not get my salad.
stuffed chicken Marsala
The stuffed chicken Marsala nothing like the dish they used to have. Chicken was dry and tough with hardly any gravy. Breadsticks were hard with no garlic, butter or salt. The price went up to $20 and the food went very downhill

Cannot order on line
I tried for 45 minutes to place an order online but continued getting kicked off when i input VEHICLE type when I was going in to pickup. Jason the "manager" was called and was no help. Also it was automatically adding 25% tip for having an order to carry out...Olive Garden just lost a STEADY customer.
The worst meal we ate in 58 years of marriage!!
I've never written a review before but this meal needed to be pointed out. The steak in the {Steak Gorfonzola} that I ordered had bad taste to it. Whatever sauce you drizzled on it was terrible. I couldn't eat it. I took it home and washed the steak but that didn't help. My husband ordered crispy chicken with pasta. They put the crispy chicken in the sauce & pasta so it was mushy chicken and pasta.
The dining room was attractive and the service was great. The prices are what it costs now to eat out. We were very disappointed with the food.
Great atmosphere
Great atmosphere, great food verry friendly and helpful staff value for money
Exalent food and service
Exalent food and service, reasonably priced with a good atmospher
Good experience at the Langley BC location
Had an enjoyable meal with friendly and solid service. Food was prepared well and the overall experience was really enjoyable. We've had less than stellar service at this location previously and it had been some time since we were there but this time we came out amazed at the turn around. Will definitely go more frequently moving forward
Great service and mostly good food but too cheap for hot water
Great service and good food except for underbaked bread sticks. Although the Boardman OH location was not busy, we waited 10 minutes for our drink order. And, after a $40 lunch for 2, both my date and I encountered cold water in the restrooms! And, the last 2 visits we had there also had only ice cold water in tfe restrooms. OG used to be a reasonable value, but no longer. Too bad they cant afford hot water. Its why we go there only once a year.
AMAZING
I am really confused why there are bad reviews on this business. I have been there at different branches for at least 20 times and have nothing to complain as yet. Prices, food and service are excellent.
My husband and I got a gift card from…
My husband and I got a gift card from our son for Christmas. We decided to go to Danville since it was the closest from where we live 25 miles. We ordered spaghetti which was very dry. The salad had mostly onions. The bread sticks were cold and the waiter brought more which weren’t any better. We have never experienced this before. The waiter could have been better and checked on us.
Took my family to Olive Garden in…
Took my family to Olive Garden in Auburn Maine. This was against my better judgement. My wife and I experienced nothing but
poor service from the other two prior visits. Well, this time it was consistent. My wife ordered the soup. The dish was half full and had no kale nor sausage, basically a few chopped potatoes and broth. Free breadsticks and salad? Only when the wait staff decided to check in. The table was abundant with empty salad bowls, bread baskets and drinks. My meal was good. But the fact that my wife’s and son’s soup was served as hospital food was disappointing. Furthermore; it should be a policy for the wait staff not to wear heavy perfume. Especially cheap perfume
For my birthday last night my wife took…
For my birthday last night my wife took me to one of my favorite restaurants,,, the Olive Garden in Spring Texas. after not being there for over a year... we were disappointed, shocked angry. I remember when this restaurant had great food, class, charm and decent help. Unfortunate for us, last night was terrible. We received our orders for what was passed as Parmesan Chicken. It was just 2 TINY and I mean TINY portions of heavily salted 1/4" thick chicken parts. Not only did they give us tiny portions. But Parmesan chicken is typically covered in red sauce, and there was none on our plates. Just the breaded tiny chicken part with a tiny amount of cheese. For what we paid, we could have gotten more chicken from McDonald's
The waiter was slightly arrogant and would disappear for long periods.
While we sat there, a single woman who sat behind us got up and left without paying!! She did leave a $1.00 bill on the table though.
NEVER again we will visit that location... this is just greed and generally open theft of our money .. I hope they CLOSE and SOON!
Olive Garden Pooler GA - Poor Management
Great Food!!!! Managed badly!!!
Arrive at the restaurant at 11:12 AM, Lunchtime. The hostess says it will be 15 minutes.
I said there are only 3 customers in the entire restaurant, 2 of them are sitting waiting for a seat.
We can't wait 15 minutes; we spent 12 minutes driving here and we have to get back to the office in 45 minutes.
She said we are low on staff. Here is the problem, this has been going on there for over 3+ months, week after week. Seems they have not recovered from post COVID times 3 years later.
This is a Management issue!
Went for breakfast
Went for breakfast, it was ok but had a lot better for less money, toast came pre buttered, well sort of, it wasn't butter and was spread so thin and only in the middle.
To charge 50cents extra for a poached or scrambled egg seems very petty to me, wouldn't hurry back
WORST SERVICE EVER!!!
WORST SERVICE EVER!!!
I would give a ZERO rating... but it is not an available option.
I have lived in Medford for over 25 years, and I decided to take my wife out for our 32nd Wedding Anniversary to The Olive Garden... But that was a terrible idea. I should have known better than to take my wife to a "chain restaurant" for our anniversary.
First off... I advised the greeter at the door it was our anniversary, and we wanted a nice quiet table. She said she would pass it along to our server, and we were told it would be a 35 min wait time... (it's 5 pm on a Saturday). So, we waited in the bar. We ordered 2 Long Island Ice Teas at $10.75 each. The screen at the bar showed they were supposed to be $9.50 each. WTF!!! The bartender was not happy I questioned his pricing, and asked for the difference back. It's NOT the money that was the problem... it was being overcharged for drinks advertised at a lower price. It was the principle of the thing.
While we were sitting at the bar, I noticed a large amount of empty tables in the restaurant. OK.. no big deal. After almost 30 mins waiting, a server moved us from the bar stools to a booth IN THE BAR. This is NOT what we wanted. She was very rude and said she would find us a quiet booth. After another 10 mins of waiting, she finally came back and said there was a table ready. She was rude and totally not aware of the request we had made for a booth for our anniversary.
Finally, we got the booth we requested. After sitting in our booth for another 10 mins, I asked a passing waitress if anyone was working this section.... she was very rude and said "You have drinks, then you have a server". I advised her we purchased these drinks while waiting 30 mins in the bar, and that she should not assume things.. She immediately changed her tune, and became confrontational. I cannot believe they have these rude, obnoxious people working in the hospitality business.
We got up and left, and saw the manager ON OUR WAY OUT to complain about the poor service... (that was a pure waste of time!!) As my wife was explaining the entire situation, he kept interrupting her to make excuses. He just let it go and didn't even seem to care or apologize for the "Comedy Of Errors" that took place just trying to go out to a restaurant for dinner.
It was a funny thing that when we first arrived, we were talking with a man in the lobby who also experienced poor service... but we did not heed his advice. We just sat around and waited to experience the poor service ourselves.
THIS IS THE WORST RESTAURANT I"VE EVER BEEN TO..!!!
Save yourself the headache of poor service and go elsewhere.
We decided on Rosario's on West Main instead... It was definately the better selection for a fine meal and great service!
Bad hosts
The one I went to, I asked for the host if she could seat my wife and I in sort of the quiet area to celebrate her birthday. The host put us next to a giant group with kids running around the area. There was plenty of room around the restaurant.
Not happy
My husband had a meeting there so I asked him to bring me some shrimp scampi with extra sauce. When I received it there was barely any asparagus on there my shrimp was burnt and if it hadn't been for the extra sauce that I asked for I wouldn't have had any. 😠
They just sit people anywhere.
I don't like the fact that is the combination of seating anyone anywhere. The management really only views it's customers as dollar signs (I understand that its a restaurant chain, but why do they preach that they care about their customers in the first place?) Regardless, the hosts don't really care about who sits where, and I went last night in the quiet section and they placed a large table of 19 right next to the booths meant for 2 people each. That large table had kids running around and one even knocked over my water glass. Completely ruined my experience and they never apologized.
We ate at the Elyria
We ate at the Elyria, Olive Garden. Melaine was a fantastic server. She was constantly at the table with refills. She was always smiling and so positive. Our food was outstanding!!! I highly recommend to all my family and friends. Thank you, for the wonderful dining experience. Kathy and Rana
