I was just reading about it answered a few questions and decided I was not interested and all of a sudden I see that I am charged for a subscription that I didn’t even know I was signing up for and I definitely don’t want. It’s a terrible scam. I have just called my bank Capital One and they are going after this company as soon as the transaction post. They know it as a scammer company. Call your bank and report them asap

No customer service for cancelling service. NIGHTMARE! RUN AWAY FROM THIS APP! You have to cancel your card so that you're not charged anymore, unbelievable!

I would give them 0 stars but it’s makes you give them 1. Does anybody know the customer service number? I signed up for it downloaded the app paid for it! I logged on and it doesn’t even recognize me as a user but they took my money.

app,OMO, very misleading and just terrible in every which way, so is eveything else, took my $ and then some, can't get an anwser from anyone, unable to cancel, I didn't do my research like i normally do, serves me right, Then to make matters worst, a few days later an update terms of use and subcription terms pops up, a little late, totally disgusted!!!!!

Awful experience. Renewed automatically so charged £66 and said it’s because u didn’t cancel, yet I didn’t sign up for auto-renewal and the email reminder was sent over Christmas period to junk mail.
Unprofessional and they don’t action your complaint despite repeated requests.
They send the same information making out you’re stupid. Then when you complain they say you can unsubscribe.
I’ll refer via ombudsmen but avoid as it’s a lot of hassle you won’t need!

So grateful for the honest reviews. Was googling intermittent fasting and this app was pushed forward by algorithm. Filled out their questionnaire and liked how optimistic it was about my goals and timeline. Also platform for initial questionnaire was fun to use. But got wary when immediately prompted to sign up and input financial details to get the so called plan. All the recent reviews on Apple and Trustpilot indicate a scam. Thank you to all the good samaritans who are warnings others off committing any details to this site. I also wish I could get the 10-15 mins back of getting my hopes up while filling out the survey. Good luck with your goals, everyone! Did more research and will try an app called Fasty - it’s the opposite of this one. Free, efficient, no BS.

This is a rip off.

Like everybody here I found out after paying my subscription that this app was not as expected. Tried to cancel the same day only to be told CANCELLATIONS ARE IRREVERSIBLE. Have asked my bank to try and get it back for me. All I can say is OMO YOU DON'T

OMO is a terrible rip off, THEY MISREPRESENT THEIR trial week, and charge you and refuse to refund!

Keep away! Do not seven try the trial ! They will rip you off!

It’s hard to believe that this organization makes cancellation of a subscription so difficult. I presume the intention is to do everything possible to discourage cancellation. I have attempted multiple times to cancel and each time I end up in the same place…..nowhere and frustrated. There is a new law recently passed in the states entitled “click to cancel”. It doesn’t appear that OMO is aware of this new law as the law requires cancellation must be as simple as signing up for an app.

I have reached out to the Federal Trade Commission to file a complaint against this organization. It would be so easy for OMO to avoid all of the complaints simply by playing nice!

UPDATE
After numerous attempts to cancel my subscription I found that my subscription was cancelled whilst visiting the website. I am relieved that my cancellation was finally resolved.

Took initial $15 and downloaded app an it asked to pay for a subscription. So what was the $15 for ? Nothing?!

Scammers

Ripped me off. I signed up for the special offer of 3 months for $29.95 then they immediately attempted to charge my card another $48. My bank declined it, they tried a total of 5 times.

Took my money with my under the impression they are giving you access to the exercise and meal plan... the help thats offered and its not. its yet another version on my fitness pal adding in your calories with no help whatsoever!!!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM

Be aware that signing up for a weeks PAID trial actually signs you up for rolling WEEKLY payment of nearly £18!!!

Moreover, you CANNOT CANCEL your subscription easily. There is no option on the app. Again, OMO will say that this is all in their T&Cs blah blah blah. However, it is clear to me they are using tactics to gain as much money as they can from this. All the other reviews point to this.

This is a company that claims to care about its consumers. When they write back to reviews they state that it’s all there when you sign up. If it’s there and clear why is there so many people that have fallen victim to your subscriptions?

Attempting to discontinue my membership in Omo. Tried since day 7.
Can’t find a way to cancel!
Extremely frustrating.

Total scam
Set up on recurring payment, and cancelled when I saw it and they won’t refund me.

SCAM - do not even set up a free account, no subscription was set up yet they’ve taken a random payment of £17.77, have contacted my bank to make sure any future payments are blocked, still not guaranteed they won’t be able to steal from me again. Made several attempts to contact them with no luck and by the looks of it everyone is having the same issue. The app is rubbish, the customer service is absent and there’s no other way to contact them.

This is one of THE WORST weight loss apps EVER! Crappy logging, horribly inaccurate/inconsistent calorie counts in their database, for example one cup of Raspberries have calorie options ranging from 20 calories to 200 for the same serving. WTAF? GIANT SCAM PREYING ON FOLKS DESPERATELY SEEKING WEIGHT LOSS TOOLS. OMO IS EVEN WORSE THAN NOOM!!!
