Orro Terra C
Orro Terra C - Bikes nice enough and good spec for the money. Internal inspection does show some tenting of the carbon and adhesive overrun but no worse than other frames from the big manufacturers at this price point.
What really kills Orro is the after sales service! They were great as I was ordering and made several changes to the spec for me as I wanted to run it as an endurance road bike but subsequent minor issues / queries after delivery have fallen on deaf ears. Multiple emails and phones calls all just ignored.

Horrendous Customer Service!
The worst customer service I’ve ever received!
Luckily I only ordered some basic clothing that wasn’t going to break the bank. I ordered it on 1st September and the order was “pending” for 2 weeks. I emailed them and got no response. I rang for 3 or 4 days and eventually got through only to be told one of the items was out of stock.
I simply suggested that communicating with your customers would go a long way. I ended up cancelling my order which the gentleman on the phone didn’t seem to care about.
No doubt I’ll be chasing my refund over the next couple of weeks.
If I was anyone looking to purchase a bike worth several thousands of pounds I’d probably give this company a wide berth.
ORRO Gold STC
Having decided to treat myself to an early 50th birthday present I started researching new road bikes. I have ridden a Trek Madonne 4.7 for the last ten years and wanted an upgrade to electronic gearing, whilst still getting value for money. I ride the occasional sportive and try to keep riding all the year round. I'm on the heavier side so ride comfort is an important consideration and my existing ride was more of an endurance set up. The Orro Gold STC immediately caught my attention, not least because of the highly competitive pricing. I sought out a local supplier and went to view the bike. The bike, it seems, is just not that photogenic. The images on the website simply do not do the bike justice. The model I went for is a deep crimson in a matt sheen. In fairness, the shop owner had warned me that the Orro images weren't necessarily reflective of the real appearance. The bike is stunning. The bike is equipped with SRAM Force AXS, which is my first foret into the electronic gearing world. I couldn't be happier and will never go back to mechanical gearing. Changes are smooth, quick and reliable. Battery life good and the SRAM AXS mobile app is intuitive.
The ride position is slightly different but the body adjusted in a short time frame. Ride quality is good and remains comfortable over longer distances. I've already competed the Ride London and still felt relatively good at the end. The bike is quick and responsive, particularly impressed with the handling and ease at which the bike pulls up under braking. This is my first ride with hyaluronic brakes and I like the reassurance that the brakes offer, which are more than capable of pulling me up swiftly even when descending at pace.
Cockpit is neat and tidy, albeit not fully integrated on this version. The Orro bar tape offers good padding and seems like it'll stand the test of time and regular abuse.
The bike came with entry level alloy wheels, which is obviously why Orro can offer this at such a competitive price point. I upgraded to Fulcrum Air Beat carbon wheel set, which I'm extremely happy with. Light weight and handle well.
Couldn't be happier with this ride, which was comfortably cheaper than offered by most other manufacturers, and yet adorned with mid range electronic gearing.
Now 700 miles old and no problems to date. I'd highly recommend !!
2021 Orro Terra C GRX 800
I have had my Terra C for nearly 2 years and love the bike. Great allrounder for cyclocross, gravel, road (normally required between the gravel bits in southern England) and recently bikepacking. It is amazingly capable, especially with a addition of the widest tyres which you can happy fit (40-42mm) providing an extra degree of sidewall suspension. If you use panniers there is a limitation as the amount of weight you place on the rear seat stays (no more than 5Kg) but it is not a big issue.
Winning combination of speed and comfort.
I started looking for my first 'real' bike for a few years - I didn't know much about gravel bikes, let alone Orro as a brand (even though they're based just a few miles from me) but after checking reviews and chatting with some local bike shops I took a test ride on a Terra C 105 Hydro and immediately fell in love! The combination of the ride quality, speed and ability to eat the miles on both tarmac and trails made this an obvious choice and now I've got it home I couldn't be more pleased. I'm looking forward to many happy miles of riding
Brilliant product - terrible customer service
First off - I have a Signature Venturi STC with Ultegra Di2, and it is a fantastic, capable, comfortable piece of kit, which I cannot fault.
The problems start when you order parts/accessories from Orro. The website gives an expected date of stock arriving at their warehouse, which comes and goes, and still your order doesn't get despatched. Some items on their website still say they have an ETA of May 2023 (it is now September 2023)!
Orro could be such a great company if they continued to care baout the Customer after they've taken the money off them.
So good I bought 2.
I bought an Orro STC Taylor Made Ultegra Di2 bike and was so impressed with the quality and performance of the bike I bought a Terra C gravel bike as well. Both bikes are amazing and I have had alot of bikes and brands in the past and own others. At the price point they cannot be beaten.
ORRO VENTURI STC ULTEGRA 2023
I’ve recently purchased my Orro Venturi stc ultegra about a month ago from larkfield cycles, I’ve had excellent service through both them and Orro customer services.
The bike is so smooth and comfortable and not to mention how fast it is to ride from bumpy lanes to smooth long roads and even on the cyclotrack it’s just so responsive and feels amazing and is one of the most comfortable but yet stiff bike I’ve ever ridden and all round seems top end quality, it excels most along long straight roads and downhill descents at speed and on the track with shaft corners, I feel that on hills this is a little harder to climb than my previous bike but I’m still beating my PB’s on climbs so must just be the feeling of the bigger frame.
I did unfortunately have a slight damage on my rear seat stay which the shop I purchased through have spoke to Orro and Orro kindly have sent and replace the frame of where the damage was that came from the factory which was done without hesitation, excellent customer service from Orro and excellent warranty coverage.
Overall I’m very happy with this bike and I would recommend it to all, so far I’ve done over 1285 km since owning, my longest ride being 220km, I go out everyday and ride around 300-400km a week and ever km is a dream to be riding this amazing, fast and reliable speed machine of a bike.
Venturi STC
Bought my Venturi STC direct from Orro in 2021, delivery took a while but we were in the middle of the global parts shortage so was to be expected. Once I got the bike I couldn't be more pleased with it.
It's the perfect blend of speed and comfort and in stealth black totally looks the part.
I also like the fact that the brand isn't one of the "usual suspects" add in the made in Britain and its a perfect package.
Would recommend the bike and the brand to anyone.
Great bikes from a great UK company
Great bikes from a great UK company. Purchased an Orro Terra C in 2022 as an upgrade to my well used Felt road bike. Went for a gravel bike due to the terrible road surfaces locally.
Having had a poor experience with a brand I’m not going to publicise, I was recommended Orro bikes by a friend - as a local company I was able to make the order and collect in person.
Great service from start to finish, and what a great bike - it’s my new favourite ride due to its flexibility and speed. Took it to France this year and it’s absolutely perfect for the quiet roads over there.
Highly recommended!!
Had my Terra C GRX for about 18 months…
Had my Terra C GRX for about 18 months now and love it. Hugely compliant, light, yet stiff and bombproof. And not that common, so nice to have a niche bike that other owners feel a great bond with. Great value and no issues apart from a leaking front calliper that’s currently with Madison to assess Shimano warranty. Hopefully Shimano will honour this and sort me out, but nothing to do with Orro. So as a bike manufacturer all I can do is recommend them heartily.
I’ve made the jump from fully suspended…
I’ve made the jump from fully suspended mountain bike to carbon fibre gravel bike. Wanted a road bike, but something that gave me the option of off-roading still, so settled on a gravel bike. Went for the Orro Terra C 105 Di2. Wow. Have gone up 6-7mph on average roads. It’s so lightweight, never thought I’d enjoy it this much. the Di2 electric groupset is fantastic and was so easy to use, glad I went for that option than conventional levers. I’ve had the bars slightly flared which makes coming off straight mountain bikes bars easier to cope with. The lines are so clean and the colour (which I love), seems to change with the backgrounds it’s next too. Brakes are incredible. It feels very well made. I’ve gone tubeless for the first time too and that’s been a big decision for me. So far so good on those. Spent weeks checking out alternative brands, but am so pleased I went with Orro, and the local Orro dealer was more helpful and knowledgeable than a lot of alternative brands I looked at too. 2 weeks of Orro ownership and I’m converted to Orro and gravel bikes!!
A very personable company
Well. What a bike. What a company. I'm on my third Orro. And Pyro, A Venturi and now a Limited edition STC Gold 'Rose' which is just a thing of beauty. I recently rebuilt my Venturi through the winter with some upgrades and had many questions which either by phone or by email Orro were always happy to help and very prompt in their responses. Really handy to know they're at hand if ever they're needed.
Go British, Go Orro!
I have been cycling for 15+ years, and to-date my Orro Venturi is by far the best bike have have ridden. From leisure rides to sportive's the bike has never let me down and is super comfy. The geometry is perfect for all types of road riding. I have now started buying their clothing too!! which is top quality......no surprise there! Go British, go Orro you won't be disappointed.
Great value, high quality
I spent so much time looking at the normal 'big name' brands for my gravel bike, when someone then told me about Orro being a great local alternative.
I loved the idea of buying British, especially as I live on the South Downs where they are made, and the spec I could achieve on a carbon frameset was fantastic.
I got the Terra C, 105di2 and have not looked back. I have done 3 big bike packing trips on it and not been disappointed. It is so light and versatile.
I hack around the New Forest and local trails, and I can even ride it with a roadie group averaging 16-17mph. It is truly a versatile bike.
I bought it from one of the big online retailers, as they were the only one with availability at the time. I wish I had bought it from my local Orro retailer, to get a better initial set-up (and support the LBS). As it was, Orro gave me some direct support to quickly resolve the one set up issue I had (created by the online retailer set-up).
Liking the Orro so much I recently bought an Orro Venturi STC Di2 Ultegra road bike - another highly specced and fantastic bike, this time bought from Sussex Velo in Rustington. It looks stunning and rides fast.
Absolutley love Orro. Good value doesn't mean less quality.
Venturi Evo Tri/TT
Venturi Evo Tri/TT, I have owned this bike for over 2 years. In that time it has been faultless, super comfortable bike even over longer distances but still a very reactive racey feeling bike!
Venturi STC and Terra-C
I own both a Venturi STC and Terra-C. The venturi was my first 'proper bike' after deciding to get more serous about cycling. It's a fantastic bike and you get a lot for your money. It's fast, handles great and more than capable for racing or longer distance rides. Highly recommend the Orro brand.
Terra C 2023 - Fantastic
Took receipt of a Terra C 2023 on Monday….absolutely awesome ride….highly recommend!!
Orro Venturi Di2 105
I bought a Orro Venturi Di2 in matt black which arrived around November 2022 which was annoying as all I could do is sit and admire how amazing it looked all winter. This summer I have been enjoying riding it regularly around Suffolk and it really is a stunning bike to own. I purchased it via Merlin and I was particularly impressed by the build quality I have also left Merlin a good review on Trustpilot. I had previously enquired with Orro about using C2W vouchers and got a helpful reply from Adam although as mentioned, I did purchase it from Merlin in the end. I also added some Hunt 50 carbon wheels which make all the difference in ride quality and feel. Di2 is revolutionary to bike riding, I would always choose electric shifting over cables if you can afford it. I think for the price point, a Venturi is an excellent choice and I have no regrets. i'm around 193cm/6'3'' and ride an XL - I had a bike fit and it is so comfy to ride.
First ever road/gravel bike and I was…
First ever road/gravel bike and I was forced enough to get shown the Orro Terra C Apex… apart from the awesome colour scheme, its over all appearance was equally as appealing. Then I rode it and I was gov smacked at how smooth, silent and effortless it was to ride!!
Fast forward three months and I just can’t get out on it enough!! Every opportunity I’m on it!! If I’m completely honest, I have had one issue, one of the saddle fixings came loose and fell off mid ride…. My fault for not checking all fixings after first few weeks of riding… emailed Orro and a replacement was posted out next day delivery free of charge! Awesome customer service and and absolutely banging bike!! Totally totally recommend!!
