Maria was wonderful. The hotels she chose for us were perfect both in elegance and location to all the sights we were interested in seeing. The guides were knowledgeable and flexible if we wanted to change something. everything was flawless. we will certainly be connecting with Maria for our next trip

I had a great experience working with Wolf to curate the ideal trip for myself that felt completely bespoke to my and to meet my traveling goals. Initially, I was unsure what I was looking for and Wolf was able to provide me with an exciting adventure that checked all the boxes I was looking for. It felt like an effortless process and he was very friendly and accommodating.

My husband and I set off for an Ireland and UK trip this summer for several weeks, and our Out of Office expert, Maria, organized a truly wonderful vacation for us, incorporating our interests, booking niche and enjoyable tours, as well as finding lovely accommodations.

We worked with each other over several months before the vacation, establishing what we wanted, our time frames, and priorities. Every step of the way we were met with pre-arranged transportation, guides, and unique experiences, all while feeling safe and catered to for this trip.

If you are an experienced traveler, share your likes/dislikes, hotel requirements, tourist activities, and any other information with your Out of Office liaison. They are sure to build a unique trip that will exceed expectations. We will surely use this group again!

Alice Evans was great to work with and tailored our plans to what we wanted. All of the hotels, transfers and local guides were great (and on time). The level of communication eased our fears of working with a new company, especially since we were traveling to places we had not been before. We hope to have encouraged our friends to also use Out Of Office for their future travel plans.

Alice has been fantastic. What has been most impressive has been the attentiveness Alice has shown to our expressed and unexpressed desires for our trip. Alice's input in response to what she learned from us prompted us to modify our initial plans so that we have ended up with a superior plan. The options Alice proposed for lodging and excursions were exactly what we were hoping for. We could not be more pleased.

Wolf did an outstanding job of arranging my trip this summer to Greece. Hotels choosen, transfers to the different locations, and activities either arranged or suggested were all top notch. He was easy to work with addressing all questions and concerns. Definitely someone I look forward to working with again.

We found Maria Gardner to be a delightful person with whom to plan our trip--our very first trip ever with a travel/tour company. She asked us very good questions about our special interests relating to Japan and answered all our questions about our projected itinerary and how OutOfOffice works. She is articulate,an excellent listener, is well-informed, has a great sense of humor, and as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, is empathetic to our status as two older married lesbians. We were able to meet with her two more times to discuss the tour she had created for us and how we might slightly revise it in a way to expand it slightly, but within the limits of our budget. So our conversations with Maria were inspiring and helpful. The result is the blueprint for a trip to Japan that we have dreamed about for decades.
We would happily recommend this travel company to others; it offers a promising range of tours that can be adjusted to fit the needs and interests of individuals, allowing for both small group and individual options. Its luxury options are also appealing to us to us as women who are both older and active, and though expensive, these options seem reasonable to us, especially compared to what other tour/travel companies offer.

Communication with Maria was good. When she was out of the office, support staff responded. The itinerary was detailed and accurate. This made the entire trip very smooth and easy.

We recently worked with Maria from Out of Office Travel to plan a special trip to South Africa for my husband’s 50th birthday, and she did a fantastic job. My family and I just returned from an unforgettable two-week trip to Italy, and it would not have been so amazing without Maria from Out Of Office. From start to finish, everything was flawlessly planned and executed. We visited four different cities, and every transfer was smooth and stress-free with a guide supporting which really eased the stress on my older parents.

The local guides Maria arranged were absolutely amazing — knowledgeable, personable, and added so much depth to each location we toured. The hotels she selected were not only luxurious, but also perfectly located right in the heart of the action, with stunning views we’ll never forget.

And the food — I’d expect nothing less from Italy, but it all exceeded those expectations. Every restaurant Maria recommended was a hit, but the standout was Florence, where I had the most incredible osso buco of my life. She really understands how to blend comfort, culture, and cuisine into a seamless experience.

If you're thinking of planning a trip, I can’t recommend Maria and Out Of Office highly enough. They took all the stress out of planning and left us with nothing but beautiful memories.

We booked our London and Paris trip with Alice Evans. She really hit it out of the park with the Clermont Hotel Charing Cross. It was a top notch hotel and I would recommend their incredible breakfast even if you’re not staying there.
Royal Tea at Kensington Palace that included a walking tour to the venue and tickets to visit the state rooms was amazing and an experience that we likely wouldn’t have found on our own. We took the Chunnel to Paris.
The tours of Versailles and the Louvre were great and almost private with only one other couple or person on each.
Alice was easy to work with for planning, making some changes and giving us a free day in each city that we really appreciated.

Absolutely brilliant!!!!! Wanted to go to Crete and the flights were challenging so Ben stepped in. He was fabulous, asked us what we were looking for, made suggestions we hadn’t even thought of and completely prepared our holiday for us.
Flights, private luxury transfers, amazing 5star hotel and lovely little extra touches- all arranged quickly and with full consultation with ourselves.
Couldn’t have asked for anymore, the company went over and above to get us our perfect holiday.
