We had been researching online for a trip to Canada and had found various itineraries. Although we made some enquiries with other companies they did not feel bespoke and at times seemed quite rigid.
We then stumbled across Out Of Office and we were so happy with how personal the experience was. We had the pleasure of speaking with Wolf who was able to guide us through the process. He was friendly and very knowledgable about the areas we wanted to travel to and often offered up suggestions to make our trip that bit more special. Wolf was quick to respond to any questions or queries. The itinerary was produced by Wolf with us in mind. It gave suggestions of excursions and hikes and was tailor-made for us. We found the deposit and booking system really straight forward.
We were very happy with our experience and the price was really competitive. We will be coming back to Out Of Office and we have recommended them to our friends and family.
I used Maria from Out of Office to plan my 50th birthday trip, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, Maria was incredibly helpful, patient, and skilled at selecting the perfect destinations and accommodations tailored to my preferences. This was no ordinary vacation—it was a six-week luxury adventure, and honestly, the best six weeks of my life.
Maria and her team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They handled any issues promptly, communicated seamlessly with hotels, and coordinated tour guides to align with our personal tastes. One of the most impressive aspects was how Maria coordinated this journey with friends flying in from all over the U.S. It was a logistical masterpiece, and she made it all feel effortless.
Every detail, from start to finish, reflected the time, energy, and care Maria put into making my trip unforgettable. I can’t wait to plan another trip with her, knowing it will be just as extraordinary and filled with incredible memories. Thank you, Maria, for making my milestone birthday so special!
England
My partner and I booked ourselves on the Queen Mary 2 for a transatlantic crossing from NYC to Southhampton. We then asked Maria Gardner to lay out a trip to include London and the English countryside. She put together a wonderful trip for us, great hotels in Bath, Oxford and London and a car and driver for a 2 day jaunt thru the Cotswolds. It was a great experience.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Out of Office travel agency to plan a trip to Thailand, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, Shaye Jolley went above and beyond to craft an incredible itinerary that truly exceeded all expectations.
Her recommendations for accommodations were perfect. We stayed at Sala Phuket and The Naka Island resort, and both were nothing short of spectacular. Sala Phuket impressed us with its modern elegance, tranquil atmosphere, and impeccable service. Meanwhile, The Naka Island in need of some TLC offered a secluded, luxurious escape with breathtaking views and unparalleled serenity.
What stood out most, however, was the level of service and attention to detail throughout the trip. The Out of Office team ensured every element of our journey was seamless, from transfers to reservations. The hotel staff at both locations were exceptional, always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome and cared for.
The culinary experiences were another highlight. Both hotels served fantastic meals, blending authentic Thai flavors with world-class presentation. Whether it was breakfast with ocean views or an intimate dinner under the stars, every meal was a memorable occasion.
Shaye created a trip that was perfectly tailored to our preferences, balancing relaxation and adventure in the most stunning settings. I highly her services to anyone looking for a stress-free, luxurious travel experience. Thank you, Out of Office, for helping us create unforgettable memories!
Thailand was on our bucket list however we had no clue where to start. OOO offered us a 3 stop adventure which mixed up respite and memories to remember. We really did enjoy digesting the culture...thank you Maria!

Wolf has been fantastic and so helpful in assisting me and my wife in planning a trip to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico! He has been so responsive and thoughtful in helping us plan this much needed get away! It has been so wonderful to work with someone and an agency that understands our needs as a lesbian couple traveling abroad. We will be taking the trip in the fall of 2025 and look forward to writing another excellent review and sharing our amazing experiences on this trip!

Working with Wolf has been an absolute dream! He’s creating the perfect Amsterdam and Copenhagen adventure for my partner and me, and it’s turning out better than I could have imagined. I was completely torn on where to go at first, but Wolf stepped in and made everything so easy.
He took the time to get to know us and tailored the trip to suit our specific interests. Every time I had an idea or request, he was right on it, making it happen seamlessly.
From museum recommendations to unique daily activities and incredible tour options, Wolf has thought of every detail to make our trip unforgettable.
I truly can’t say enough about how wonderful it’s been working with him. His dedication and attention to detail reflect the values of Out of Office so well—the locations, accommodations, and experiences he’s curated are all wonderful.
Thank you, Wolf, for making this planning process not only stress-free but genuinely exciting!
Working with Wolf at Out of Office was absolutely amazing! I contacted the company to go on a last minute solo trip. Wolf took the time to get to know me as a person and offered two vacations he thought would fit my budget and needs. Besides being LGBTQ+ knowledgeable and friendly, he led me in the perfect direction: Amsterdam and Paris! Wolf left no detail behind. From a perfect itinerary to personalized movie and book recommendations leading up to the tour, he certainly built up excitement. I was supported and contacted throughout my trip and had a wonderful opportunity to debrief afterward. Engaging with Out of Office is a game-changer for the way I travel. I would leave ten stars if I could.

Ben was absolutely heaven sent and planned the most fantastic Switzerland honeymoon for us! I was so indecisive on even what country we were going to go to, our budget, what we wanted to do, and more. I bounced around constantly for 2 weeks. He never once made me feel like he was frustrated or that I was crazy! When we decided on Switzerland, he had his work cut out for us… he only had 2 weeks to pull it all together. Somehow, this amazing human didn’t miss a single detail! Everything went without a hiccup. He really took the time to learn my wife and I so that he could plan a honeymoon that was specific to OUR interests and desires. I would mention something and he would have it handled in no time. I like to be very organized and I was stressing a bit about public transportation and using the Swiss rail system. Ben went out of his way to send an email with all the appropriate train times that would fit our schedule and location. He didn’t have to do this, it wasn’t necessary, but it was just to ease my mind…
He made us dinner reservations, exertion reservations, gave suggestions on museums and daily activities, and he also gave recommendations on how to get the best bang for our buck and use our Swiss rail passes to the best of our advantage and save money in certain locations.
I can’t say enough about Ben and Out of Office. We felt safe everywhere that we went. We felt like we could be authentically US and enjoy our honeymoon. This has so much to do with Out of Office, what they stand for, the locations and accommodations that Ben chose, and just working with such a trusted person as him.
We are already planning our next (or many) trips with Ben!
Thanks for everything!

Matt & Declan at OutOfOffice did all of the difficult research work so as to plan a wonderful solo and private trip to Australia. Although I like to plan, the scope of finding solutions to the multiple destinations was simply beyond my capability. The result was a very exciting, diverse and immensely well-planned itinerary! All airport transfers, accommodations and activities worked like clockwork. My only recommendation for future travel would be to have further investigated various "upgrades" to my daytime activities as they were available (such as accompanying wine or better viewing). Bravo to OutOfOffice!
Out of office made planning my and my husband's honeymoon a breeze. We were so busy with wedding planning that we couldn't possibly do all the research required to put together an itinerary for ourselves. It felt great to work with a company that knew how to make a safe trip for 2 men on their honeymoon. Maria and the team put together a fantastic trip for us, and were responsive when plans needed to be adjusted during the trip. We would highly recommend Out of Office for anyone's travel needs!

Edit since the reply:
It's disappointing that the reply here, especially about the 24/7 helpline, seeks to dismiss my experience with that particular issue. I'll show the phone records if you'd like as absolute proof. I called the UK number twice at 09:37 and 09:41 local time and US number at 09:46 local time and no answer (check records and consider daylight savings impact on time). We didn't discuss this on the phone call we had after the trip that only occured after I posted this review which you already said was your own oversight so, the tone of this reply suggests you have no records therefore it didn't happen.
The breakdown of costs, as I mentioned on the phone, was not clear and had flaws. The summary breakdown at the bottom of the itinerary only mentioned the wine tour, no other tours. Given we had numerous other costs to pay during the trip (dog fees, parking fees etc) we assumed the tours not included in the summary were to be paid locally. It was not clear!
I appreciate you want to respond publicly and given I spent time on the phone expressing my disappointment that I'd paid a huge premium (a premium that truly became clear during the trip) and expected, frankly, perfection for the price. We didn't get that and to now read this, frankly, irritating reply. Clearly many others have had an excellent experience, given the reviews, it's a shame we didn't get the same.
Not even close to worth it. I decided to use this travel service during a time of absolute peak stress in my life, to book a trip for my partner's birthday. I would normally book everything myself but given my personal situation, this seemed like a perfect alternative. I expected to pay a premium for the convenience of course but I paid a massive premium for this trip compared to booking myself and things went wrong. Mistakes and changes made without communication meant the flawless experience we should have had, was not flawless. Alongside this, calling the 24/7 number resulted in voicemail only. Again, for the massive premium (when comparing costs I could see online for hotels and tours), I don't expect to have to call for assistance due to mistakes made by the company and do expect someone to pickup, as assured before we set off.
The process ahead of the trip seemed slick. The itinerary was nicely packaged (it had a timing error for transport but not a major issue) and seemed to consider everything I was looking for. Then you realise, during the trip, the itinerary doesn't include essential details, is unclear about what's included in the costs and what's not, has changes that haven't even been mentioned such as half day tours becoming full day tours (when questioning this during the trip we're told it's an upgrade but this, frankly, is nonsense. It's an inconvenience and doesn't consider any plans we have made based on the communicated itinerary and surely you'd mention the so-called upgrade!).
This was the first and last time I'll use a travel service mainly because I feel ripped off. I've no doubt one of the hotels had a huge premium due to events happening in the city but that does not account for the thousands in premium I seemed to have paid.
Prior to the trip we were told "we can't wait to hear all about how to trip went" assuming they'd reach out for feedback. We've had zero communication nearly a month after returning. I suspect, when something goes wrong, they don't bother asking for feedback to ensure reviews remain as positive as possible. No doubt they'll respond to this but I strongly recommend if you speak with this company about a trip, do more research yourself re the costs of hotels, transport and tours and see what mark-up they place on the overall package. I appreciate it defeats the object of using a travel service to do all this but seriously, when you start seeing bills at hotels you stay in, you may realise during your trip there is a huge premium and is it worth it? Nobody wants to think about that when on a trip, you want to enjoy the experience only.
Someone will surely question why only 2 stars and it's because this company bills themselves as a luxury service, they set an expectation, charge a large price for it and then proceed to make mistakes. It's impossible not to sound absurd when saying this but we have had luxury experiences, it's a huge privilege of our lives to be able to do so and that means we're comparing this service with other high-end services. For us, things went wrong but the biggest issue is feeling ripped off. I regret using the service.

I’ve used OOO for three trips now. (1) Switzerland, Austria, Czechia (2) Belgium, Netherlands (3) Spain, Portugal. I’m a solo traveler and don’t have the bandwidth or patience to look up hotels, etc. Enter Alice Evans who planned my trip for me. That’s what you’re paying for - offloading a lot of that planning and researching. They do such a good job selecting hotels in good locations. The transfers, train tickets, tours are purchased in advance. You show up and hit the ground running. What’s nice is Alice knows my travel style and what I like to do. I’m not a huge adrenaline junkie so I don’t need to do crazy excursions. I like the history and museums and exploring the cities, food tours. I like days where I do an excursions and then days where I want to sleep in and be lazy.
The only mildly stressful part is navigating the train stations and which platform to be on - but there’s usually people around to assist!
Alice and OOO were great at communicating before and during the trip concerning the itinerary, last-minute changes, etc. I had a massive flight delay and OOO were on hand to assist with coming up with a Plan B if necessary.
Yes, OOO is expensive but honestly, it’s worth it to me to not have to worry about researching hotels, what to do, buying train tickets in real time, etc. Yes, there are instances where you’ll need to take a taxi or Uber from the train station to your hotel, etc. I think solo travel is also an exercise in resourcefulness and if I can minimize a lot of the guesswork, it makes my job easier. 😃

I planned a last minute trip to Iceland this month, and set up a solo travel with Out of Office. Millicent from the company reached out to me and was very pleasant and helpful. I told her the plan of when I wanted to travel to Iceland and the excursions I was hoping to do when I arrive there. Considering that I was planning last minute with 2 weeks to my destination date, Millicent was able to expedite the excursion process right away that same day and come up with an itinerary for my travel. This included airline, transportation and excursions that included the description and times. I was extremely grateful she was able to set everything up the same day. Had my follow up call yesterday regarding any last minute questions about my trip coming up and she answered them thoroughly and to contact her anytime with any questions. Thank you again Millicent for being so nice and helpful and of course making all of this happen, I'm looking forward to my Iceland trip coming up and can't wait to update you on my adventure!! :)

A trip to remember!
My wife and I discovered Out Of Office as we were looking into LGBTQ safe honeymoon options. Our agent, Alice, was helpful every step of the way. We weren't sure what we wanted to do on our honeymoon, so we shared our story with her and she ran with it — curating a truly unique and special experience we will never forget.

She was always responsive and checked in to make sure we were OK if we accidentally slept through a tour. Thank you for a perfect vacation!
