We thank you for your question. Please be informed that property owners are charged a booking fee that is 8% of the total rental amount on pay-per-booking listings and subscriptions require one annual fee. The cost of an annual subscription is £249. Travellers who book through our site are charged a service fee. The service fee is between 5-12% for most bookings but can be above or below, based on the reservation.

Terrible business model Shock capitalism
Terrible business model, ruined a perfectly good company business model through corporate greed.
No communication now with the owner, they block e mails and charge 10% booking fee on top of the stated price. Owners are leaving in droves.
OD sending you all this 'customer service consultation' and then ignore your feedback.
Reminds one of Naoi Klein's book on 'Shock capitalism', bully boy business

Owners direct is a very good site.
Owners direct is a very good site to find somewhere to stay on holiday if you would rather have a home for home felling that you don’t get from a hotel.
All though I was rather dis appointed this time as I had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances and did not get my deposit back.

Confusion
After I had booked a property I got an email to say it wa# already booked by someone else. I had already paid the deposit so was concerned. The owners were also confused but reassured us our booking was secure.
