Wayne was friendly, informative and polite.

Wayne remained courteous and patient throughout the home survey. I have mobility issues, and he gave me time to answer the door and show him around the property, including the garden. Wayne arrived early, with his clearly visible ID and iPad displayed, and spoke with my mother over the phone about the residence. He advised us on repairs and described his responsibilities clearly. This was quite useful, especially because I have lived in this place for about 13 years and I require many repairs.

They are useless.

They are useless.
I have moved out because we had crack and herion addicts squatting in a flat fir 3 years. They were drug dealing all the time. We had rough sleepers getting in all the time. No repairs were ever done.
It's time they were investigated as to where all the money is going.

I’m sorry that you’ve had this experience with squatters and antisocial behaviour (ASB) such as drug use in a nearby flat and that you’ve had difficulty in getting repairs done. This is very disappointing as we want to do better for our residents by improving our repairs and ASB services.

I’ve raised your concerns with the Head of our ASB Team who assures me that this is an ongoing case that is being investigated by our team alongside the police. I hope that we can soon resolve this by working alongside the police.

Kitchen refitting nightmare.

Had a visit for our kitchen as our kitchen cabinets have been peeling and falling off after them being installed 19 years ago to get a new one refitted, the worker said it should be replaced, when we’ve called to follow up we’ve been told only a surveyor can confirm this but can only come once every 5 years; which hasn’t been done in the past 5 years? They refused to let us know the date of when the surveyor came as with covid and everything, a visit hasn’t been the case. Our kitchen needs to be refitted and this hasn’t been resolved neither has our sink in the bathroom that gets replaced too often due to shoddy plumbing work and isn’t working at the moment. This is disappointing to see other positive reviews of surveyors coming in and taking notes of issues to be resolved as that hasn’t been the case for ours. I’d like to know which direction to be pointed to.

We still have genuinely compassionate and helpful people in the world.

I contacted PA Housing for help as I was anxious about falling behind on my rent due to recent changes. Sara Almutairi was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the entire process. She not only advised me on what steps to take but also went above and beyond by assisting with my application for a council tax reduction that I didn’t even know I was entitled to. Sara helped me with the forms and followed up every step of the way until I received the reduction.

Additionally, at the same time when I was financially struggling, Sara showed great empathy and understanding. When she asked if I had enough money for food, I felt embarrassed to admit my situation, but she reassured me and sent supermarket vouchers. I was expecting a small amount to help for a week, but she sent enough vouchers to cover my shopping for an entire month.

I can’t thank Sara enough for all she has done. Her dedication and support have made a significant difference in my life. PA Housing is fortunate to have her on their team, and I wish there were ten more Saras working in the Tenancy Sustainment department!
