If Carlsberg did housing.
PA have adapted our bathroom to fit the needs of our daughter. They went above and beyond what we expected with the speed, quality of work and the best fittings available.
One tradesman managed to fully fit a wet room in 6 days. The finish is breathtaking.
Overall, when we request repairs to the property, the work is completed within 5 days, sometimes less.
We couldn't be happier having PA as landlords.

It's supposed to be social housing but in fact its a corporate profiter from £547 pr month to £985 in 4 years and the services are appalling they use an ai bot to apologise and trust pilot does no check to see if issue is resolved. no faith in PA and Losing faith in trust Pilot who are supporting companies a lot more than people i suppose there is more profit in that. Please tell me where I'm wrong

They don’t respond to complaints, never buy a house from PA Housing, disgusting service and poor quality of response to your needs.

I am extremely disappointed with PA Housing for failing to address the misuse of balconies by tenants. Many residents are installing clotheslines and hanging messy laundry on their balconies, creating not only an eyesore but also serious health and safety issues.
Hanging clothes on balconies increases the risk of accidents, especially in windy conditions. Additionally, damp clothes hanging outside can contribute to mold growth and poor air quality, impacting the health of residents nearby.
It’s unacceptable that PA Housing has not taken action to enforce the rules or educate tenants about proper balcony use. This lack of responsibility reflects poorly on their management and disregard for the well-being of residents and the overall appearance of the property.
I urge PA Housing to address this issue immediately for the safety, health, and aesthetic quality of the community.
Case No 42566 - open over a year ago
I had an energy survey visit from Richard. He was friendly, respectful to myself and the property. He was thorough with his inspection, assessing the property, taking measurements and recording them. It’s lovely to see someone that takes pride in their job. Fingers crossed that this time it means that new windows are installed as it has been 2 years since the last survey showed they needed changing.

PA Housing are the worst housing association out there. I've been waiting 7 years for my repairs to be done & they haven't lifted a finger. I'm a disabled tenant & last year I was diagnosed with asthma. I swear it's this house that gave me it. They put a new heating system in 7 years ago after my bedroom radiator was leaking & my boiler was condemned. Instead of emptying my bedroom radiator they dragged it across my bedroom floor & all the water flooded out of it straight through the floor & into my living room. It caused my living room ceiling to start coming down. It's been coming down ever since & they don't give a damn that I have to live with that. I can't even sit in my living room to watch t.v. or have visitors round 'cause I'm too scared a lump of ceiling will fall on us. I have big holes in my kitchen floor that I found when I pulled the flooring up in the kitchen so they could do the new heating system. They haven't bothered to fix them either. My bedroom windows don't open. Complete fire hazard but they don't care. No handle on my bathroom window. They don't care. The only tap that works in my bathroom is the 1 on my bathroom sink. They don't care. I've been promised a wet room for years as I can no longer use my shower. Still not done 'cause they don't care. The property is full of damp & mould, they don't care. There's a big hole in 1 of my stairs that my ex partner put his foot through. I haven't been with him for 4 years now. I've had to patch it up as best I can. They still haven't fixed it. They really couldn't care less about their tenants as long as you're paying your rent on time. They want your money but they're not interested in doing any repairs for you. They're a disgrace.
I am deeply disappointed with PA Housing Association. After more than a year of searching for a non-smoking building due to my severe allergy to nicotine and cigarette smoke, I was thrilled to purchase a flat in July 2021 within a development managed by PA Housing that was explicitly advertised as non-smoking. This assurance was crucial for my health and well-being.
However, on 26 October 2024, PA Housing allowed the adjacent flat to mine to be rented to a heavy smoker. The tenant smokes constantly on a small enclosed balcony that we share. My flat is equipped with a mechanical ventilation system that draws fresh air from this shared space, resulting in smoke circulating throughout my home.
As a consequence, my health has been severely compromised. I suffer from tobacco smoke hypersensitivity, and exposure has led to bronchospasm, wheezing, severe shortness of breath, nasal congestion, and other serious symptoms. Despite raising these issues, PA Housing has not taken effective action to resolve the situation.
This oversight not only violates the non-smoking agreement but has also put my health at significant risk. I expected better responsibility and adherence to their own policies from a housing association.
I urge others to be cautious when dealing with PA Housing Association, especially if you have specific health needs or expect them to uphold their commitments.

17/10, contacted PA to tell them our boiler is’nt working. Guess what?? It’s still not working. We’ve had at least 5 different engineers/ electricians/ workers from PA/ Waites/KT Heating. Rubbish. PA are in complete breach of contract as we’ve now had no heating or hot water since 17th October!! It’s is effecting our health and wellbeing. Disgusting company, terrible service. I would actively recommend people not to get involved in any housing with this company. How they keep getting funding from our council is beyond me. We will of course be fighting for compensation for this wrong doing. Please please please don’t go with PA if you can.
9:25pm 8/11/24 Just phoned to chase the the 4th emergency repair we’ve had since the 17/10/24. “He will be another 2hrs”.
Bless the engineers that work for this terrible company. They are always saying how they just want to fix things but they aren’t allowed to due to budget. I’m sorry you’re forced to come out so late when everything could’ve been resolved before this point, if PA would only resolve things that don’t work rather than spend as little as they can trying to repair faulty things.
12/11/24 ha ha ha ha ha! We don’t have a radiator falling off our wall and no one came to us on 19th September! Well done PA another cracking job!
Ref number 244993 if that really matters as I’ve got about 6 others for the same job.
We’ve got an engineer here now for KT / Sure serve or whatever they’ve now changed their name to. We were told the engineer would fix today and had all parts needed. Well the engineer is here without any parts to fix our boiler. He has however managed to get our hot water working. No heating still.
13/11/24 -watch this space I’ll let trust pilot know if PA and KT manage to fix it today! My assumption is no, based on all the evidence so far. What a shambles!

I can only give one star which to be honest I wanted to give a 0. Absolutely diabolical repairs system. I got left with a hole in my ceiling from a leak for a month. My living room window didn't shut when I first moved in. I have contacted my local MP with regards to all of my thoughts on PA Housing. They refuse to replaster my stairs wall even though there's massive cracks in the wall, all I get in response is 'its a tenants own fault' I am appalled by their lack of communication within their business, I strongly believe they should actually sit down and read these reviews and actually take action and learn how disappointed their tenants are.

Mutual exchange gone wrong. The house is a tip No inspection done,Failed electrical certificate No gas certificate No epc.The property was passed by a Member of staff knowing all would have failed.House was condemed five months later and still in temporary accommodation. No communication when requested. They are not interested complaints made and nothing has been done. How did PA pass safety regulations I do not know.Previous tenant absolutely wrecked the house and garden saving grace I got them to sign a letter saying they would not be removing the Mess they caused. A mutual exchange when two people agree to exchange their properties council or housing association. Before this can be done a surveyer and a person from the council or housing association must enter the property and inspect it for the move to go ahead. At my end all this was done but the property I was moving to had no inspection and as told by the surveyor after the move it would have failed and the previous tenant would have been told to repair all the damage that they had done inside and outside.I was unaware that there was no inspection done
I was also unaware that it had failed the electrical test and as no gas certificate present I am presuming that that was not done. The energy performance certificate has to be done every 10 years and i was told it did not need one by PA.
So without naming names the Woman who sighned the property over left straight after.
Leaving me with a condemed property and no work has been started 5 months after they put us into tempory accommodation.
I have lost count of how many complaints I have made they made a MALADMINISTRATION mistke and also they made no duty of care to us.
I am up against a brick wall and they ignore my requests.

Poor communication, so hard to get anything done through repairs services and contractors are useless always passing jobs onto the next person, records and logs just disappear or dont exsist, resulting in same issues over and over with no resolve. Recent kitchen refurb has caused nothing but electrical problems that have not been fixed for 4 months so far, appointments are no shows or cancelled last min.

There is no 0 star to give otherwise that’s what they would deserve.
Absolutely shocking service and personnel. I am currently having an extremely frustrating experience with PA Housing. Their handling of my account and additional charges has been nothing short of appalling. Also, their staff is incredibly rude and refuses to answer my questions when calling them. Despite raising multiple maintenance issues and requesting clarifications on overspend, they were slow to respond and the issues went unresolved.
Even after asking for a breakdown of the costs and a deferment of payment while awaiting answers, they continued to impose late fees and even threatened court action. Their lack of transparency, poor communication, and unwillingness to address valid concerns are unacceptable.
They don’t listen to clients and their issues, all the want is your money. Absolutely a nightmare.
