Very Dangerous an Misleading

This company literally will lock you in a room, put you in a corner with 2 people between you and the door so you cannot get out until you sign a contract with them. That is what they did with me and my wife at Moon Palace. They literally stand in your way and hold you hostage. I had to grab my wife by the hand and push past the guys to get out of the room. Insane....
This happened to me. Me and my wife. It is normal practice, they are trained to do this. I saw it. If you go..... you will be next and THEY WILL put you in jail if you do not pay them on time.

This company will have customers arrested

This company will have customers ARRESTED when they do not deliver on promises, and your credit card company backs you up in a dispute.

STEER CLEAR of this company!

You can read all of the details by looking up the various news articles about the couple Chisty and Paul Akeo being held in a maximum-security Mexican prison on orders of Palace Resorts.

Warning about membership

I have been a member of Palace since 2010 and I have been to so many upgrade/update presentations in the last 15 years, that I feel compelled to warn others against signing these contracts. In my experience, with signing new agreements, I have lost benefits that I had and this is never mentioned to me. I think that by upgrading, I maintain the benefits I had and am getting better, but this has not been the case. They ask for your credit card to get the deposit before drawing up the contract. Then it is quite difficult when what is in the contract is different from what the salesperson promised. They also go very quickly over the contract and only point out the positives, while omitting the changes made to the membership, plus it is very small on the tablet and impossible to read all of it. They have now improved the process whereby you have 5 days to go over it and cancel, but at this time, you are most likely still on vacation, without access to a lawyer, and it is impossible to read the document on your phone.

I went through this process in December and cancelled within 5 days. It took months before I could get my credit card reimbursed and I had to dispute the charges and get the credit card company involved.

In the 15 yrs that I have been a member at Palace, they have also made changes to the benefits to members that weren't in writing, as well as using any writing in the contract that isn't explicit to their own interpretation (which differs from how things were), thereby lessening the value of the weeks that have already been purchased. I believe this is done because it leaves people wanting more and therefore more motivation to upgrade. Based on my experiences, I DO NOT recommend purchasing memberships with Palace.

Moon Palace is extremely unethical

Moon Palace is extremely unethical. We were quoted a price for a one week stay and paid the full amount. Several weeks later they called and said we owed them an additional $1000. Since we had already purchased airline tickets, we were backed into a corner. Currently working with the Best Business Bureau, it seems their are multiple complaints...Stay away...

Buyer Beware: Misleading Promotions

Buyer Beware: Misleading Promotions at Le Blanc (a Palace Resorts Property)

My recent stay at Le Blanc was tainted by a deceptive promotional offer that I feel obligated to warn others about. Upon departure, my friends and I were pitched what seemed like a great deal: a certificate for $299 per night for up to four nights. The terms were explained verbally and sounded straightforward, so we decided to purchase it.

However, when attempting to use the certificate, I discovered that the terms were completely different. Instead of being able to book for $299 per night, the certificate’s value is only determined at the time of booking based on the current rack rate and an unspecified discount. This crucial detail was never explained during the sales pitch. Essentially, we paid $299 upfront for a vague benefit with an unknown value.

This bait-and-switch tactic is deeply disappointing and feels like a calculated attempt to mislead guests during their departure. The lack of transparency and clear communication, coupled with fine print that doesn’t properly define the terms, makes it clear that this promotion is designed to confuse and entrap guests.

If you’re considering this or any similar promotion at Le Blanc, demand everything that’s verbally promised to you in writing before allowing them to charge your card. Do not rely on verbal assurances, as they hold no weight when it comes time to redeem the offer.

While Le Blanc may offer beautiful accommodations, their deceptive practices and lack of accountability in promotions reflect poorly on their brand. I won’t be returning and encourage others to think twice before purchasing any “exclusive offers” from this hotel or its parent company.

Elite BoolSheet!!!!!; No such thing! ScamScamScam

I have been a Palace Elite Member for over 10 yrs. costing almost $50K Cdn then paid additional $5k for an upgrade in 2017 that provided me an additional week that was suppose include LeBlanc, but then turned out NOT! Would never have purchased if they had not lied to my face!

Originally had 110 rounds of golf that with my original that I only used like 8 rounds, then find out it was only good for 3yrs then cancelled, not made aware of this!

Now I can book online for cheaper than what I get offered when I phone in. Originally our Elite membership was supposed to be guaranteed Jacuzzi Suite, now it doesn't exist, last year we were given a Honeymoon suite and told it was an upgrade from the Jacuzzi, but ended up in exact same room we were in when we stayed the a 1st year!!

This is a Mexican/Spanish scam outfit, don't get sucked in it is garbage and now they are making sure that Elite members are priced out of the regular online crowd...Bad JuJu
