Vintage Crystal Tower

This was a gift to replace a vintage sculpture. Pamono’s customer service rep Christiane replied within a day to a few different emailed questions. She was very friendly and provided guidance and reassurance. It shipped from Germany, and it arrived in about a week. The original purchase time was also quickly processed.
Most importantly, when it arrived, it was packaged perfectly and in great shape, the same as the quality photos they posted. Price was also fair and we are very pleased with Pamono’s quality service.

They look better online than they perform in real life

This is for pamono.eu. At first glance, this company/brand looks great. They promise the opportunity to find antique and/or unique pieces, and many of their pieces are attractive and interesting. We ordered quite a few things in a short period of time to help decorate our new place. First of all, the ordering process was cumbersome. There is always a significant lag between when you order the piece and when they send a notice for payment by bank transfer. Sometimes in that lag time, the piece sells to someone else or it otherwise marked as unavailable. But by the time you find that out, you've already submitted your payment...which can take 5 to 10 days to reverse. Sometimes items don't ship for weeks or months after you place the order and pay. Usually the shipping costs are outrageous, far beyond what it should cost to ship the piece, and often beyond the price of the item itself. It's not uncommon to find a beautiful piece that sells for 450 euro but the shipping is 750 euro. There's no easy logic to find out why, say, a very large piece that costs 3,000 euro costs 120 to ship, but a very small piece that sells for 275 euro costs 800 to ship. It just seems that Pamono is pricing extra profit into the shipping costs, so that they can advertise the sale price of the item lower. We had several pieces described as "perfect" or "like new" that were damaged or clearly not new. Sellers do not always provide many high quality photos of their item, and you may not make out small problems in the product until you receive it. These are only a few of the problems in working with them. Sometimes they are responsive to complaints, but not always. In some cases they promised refunds or discounts on damaged products, but in one case they promised a refund and then later notified us they wouldn't be paying it because the seller refused...and they don't have control over their sellers. I don't think they vette their sellers very well. In any case, after months of working with them, I feel confident I wouldn't order from them again.

A reliable global marketplace …

I’ve purchased a few items from different vendors. Over the years I’ve shopped the world from just about every platform and this ranks up there with the best of them. The quality of everything I have purchased met or exceeded my expectations. All items were received well packed, quickly and without incident.

Easy purchase We bought a wall light which arrived in…

We bought a wall light which arrived in Melbourne Australia from the Netherlands in 10 days via FedEx. It was well packed by the seller, the glass shade arrived in perfect condition and the wiring was ready to go as promised.
Would definitely use Pamono again, love our unique light!

As it is not possible to reply to…from bad to worst

As it is not possible to reply to Pamono's answer directly I will reply here to add even more shame on this company.
After you verified directly from your vendor that he intentionally sent another piece (a piece that bears no proof to be an original) and not the one advertised on the images on your website, we agreed on an exchange with no additional costs: you would deliver to my place the original one and I would return the fake one to the seller. The exchange would be done simultaneously. I waited over a month for this exchange and when everything was finally ready , you wrote that I had to arrange and pay AGAIN for the transport to my place as you would deliver only to the mainland, knowing that the boat transport is the most expensive part.
When I said that your request did not match with our agreement and I was not willing to pay again that sum for a mistake (or should we call it fraud?), from the vendor side, you offer to give me a partial refund and when I accepted......you just disappeared!
Unacceptable and shameful behaviour.

I have ordered A LOT of furniture from…

I have ordered A LOT of furniture from Pamono. For a total of approx. 15'000 Euros or even more. The furniture is a bit expensive and also the shipping... then again it is being transported through whole of Europe and custom fees are already included in the price... so it's quite ok if you consider everything. All the ordered furniture was very well packed, in the condition I expected and were delivered as planned by helpful drivers. Pamono is just a very simple way to find exceptionnal pieces without spending too much time looking for them.
I really enjoyed using Pamono and I recommend it.

Stay well clear!

I ordered and paid £4,400 for a toga sofa set on March 14th. I was slightly concerned as I received no invoice, no email, no proof of purchase. After countless emails I finally got a reply stating that everything was fine and delivery was booked in for 2nd May. This information was uploaded on to my account on the Pamono website so I though everything was on track and looked forward to my set arriving. As the date drew closer, I logged on and the item had not been picked up by courier as planned. I tried to contact Pamono and as usual no reply. They finally decided to answer an email yesterday. The response I received was poor, I was left with no idea as to what is happening. When I replied to the email it was ignored. I have asked for a refund as I have lost all confidence in this company and considering the sofa set has not yet left the vendor in Poland I think that this is a reasonable request. However, they have not replied and chosen to ignore my emails and contact. I am now having to look up my legal consumer rights.

Sellers be warned!

Be warned! As a seller when you sign up to their membership and put your card details in, they try not to allow you to leave when you no longer wish to sell with them. They continue to use the card to take payments and try and imply that you are under contract to them, which you’re not! Laughable really when they don’t stick to any of their own terms and don’t even do the things you pay the membership for. Their customer service is dreadful on the whole but this is a whole new level. They get hardly any sakes for you and you end up out of pocket due to the membership fees and extortionate commission. Honestly if you are thinking of joining them as a seller, think again. I’ve been with them off and on for around 8years and they’ve just got worse and worse over the years.
