Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 84 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. People experienced terrible customer service, pointing out long response times, unhelpful staff, and a complete lack of available assistance when trying to resolve account issues. Many customers also expressed deep frustration over unexpected subscription policy changes, sudden renewal charges, and heavily restricted plan features that severely disrupted their daily business operations. Some reviewers were happy with the platform, noting that the clean interface is very easy to use and custom templates help streamline their daily workflow. Users genuinely appreciated the professional look of their documents and found the fast e-signature process smooth, intuitive, and remarkably efficient.

Quite a good product but their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABOMINABLE. Made a Simple error by adding a new employee to the system and accidentally added a new licence. The error was picked up within 3 minutes and escalted to PANDADOC. Pandadoc seem so desperate to hang onto a few extra $$$ and will not refund the licence which was in error. What a great way to service your clients.

Stay Away From Unless You Want To Be Billed For Something You're Not Using

Company charged for a renewal on October 3rd, 2026, for an annual service at $244.99. The business we had that was associated with this account is no longer active, so I immediately cancelled the plan and opened a support ticket minutes after the charge came through. They declined to refund the charge although we haven't used the software for a year. They referred me to their Master Services Agreement. This is the first time I've encountered a software company that behaves in such a manner. I've disputed the charge through Amex and will never do business with them again.

Just dealt with their customer service…

Just dealt with their customer service as I saw a charge come through for the year. I wanted to go to a month by month plan. Didn't think that would be a big deal. No luck. I think the service was sub par but we were already comfortable using it. This interaction will just ensure that we find a different solution before another renewal with them.

Sent signature requests straight to client spam, then billed us extra.

We handled all our client agreements here until recent platform updates butchered half our saved templates. Then the signature links started landing in clients' junk folders—nothing like looking completely incompetent before an onboarding call even kicks off. On top of that, they slapped extra per-document fees onto our automated pipeline without any warning. Reached out to get it resolved and support just stonewalled us with their "no refund" policy. Dumping this before the next billing cycle.

Don't care about clients

So dissapointing... I used PandaDoc with my startup that merged with another firm.

Once we merged my prev. Google account was deleted, PandaDoc charged the account. I emailed letting them know I have an ACTIVE account with PandaDoc on my new google domain given the merge. They did not care, I let them know I dont have access to the account, they didn't care.

I told them I was an active member, they didn't care.

PandaDoc- what is wrong with you? Our team is now going to be moving fwrd with Docusign given their horrible service and policies.

Makes me think they can't retain business given their policies and also are failing as a business given they need to hold to every cent- even when they are not servicing the client. Insane.

It has become worse!

It used to be quite straightforward when issuing and signing contracts but the recent changes that have been made to the platform are awful. It takes ages to figure things out and update data and it's not as user friendly as it used to be. So I'm not really happy with it, as it's now taking me ages to draft contracts!

The worst customer experience

The worst customer experience.

On Pandadoc website, I saw I needed to upgrade to annual plan to get a specific functionality. Once upgraded, I realised the feature was never activated.

I wrote to the support, 7 DAYS LATER, still no news. Meanwhile, my salesteam is waiting, we can't automate our process, I'm so mad.

Terrible Customer Service with Lock-in Annual Terms

I thought I had cancelled, but it turns out it was only downgraded. Probably from an exit flow that made cancelling less clear than staying, and possibly my fault. Although I know I clicked "Cancel subscription."

Then when we were billed, that VERY DAY I requested it be cancelled and refunded so that we weren't using up ANY time of the 365 days we were prospectively billed for. But despite the fact that they offer monthly subscriptions, I was told Pandadoc refuses to refund any of the 12 months of unwanted, unused services.

You would think they'd treat a founding customer of nearly 10 years better and do what's right. Not the case. Beware. DO NOT sign an annual agreement with them. And use Google's e-signature for $10/mo instead.

Customer service is hot garbage

Customer service is hot garbage. They overhaul the software and broke all my forms. Can't get anyone on a phone or video call. Chat is slow and useless. Spent an over an hour on the chat only for them to not help at all, and suggest maybe we can schedule a call at some indeterminate time in the future.

Covert price change with hidden addons...

After three years on a yearly Business plan (USD 1,000+), PandaDoc suddenly and covertly changed the conditions of my plan without any clear, upfront notice. They now require an additional USD 2 for every document I generate automatically via Make.com, which was previously included in my subscription. When I raised the issue, they simply hid behind a “no-refund” policy and the claim that “we sent you an email,”.

On top of that, their document emails consistently land in spam boxes, both for us and for our clients, which means every signature request has to be manually dug out of the spam folders. This is not a minor inconvenience but a recurring operational problem that affects our workflow and our clients’ experience.

Overall, this combination of hidden pricing changes, extra per-document fees, and unreliable email delivery makes PandaDoc a stressful and costly choice. I strongly recommend staying away and exploring alternative services if you want to save both money and nerves.

They absolutely suck

They absolutely suck.

I was a customer with my marketing agency for 3+ years for their base paid plan.

Had multiple templates etc set up to make agreements/sales process efficient.

I even moved to annual paying because it worked out cheaper for me. As soon as I did that, they entirely changed the features that their base paid plan to the point that it was so limited that I needed rebuild ALL of my templates etc because they had stripe payments, pricing tables etc set up on them.

ZERO support from the company and completely blindsided, even after I paid for the full year. It's not un-usable for me.

You genuinely suck ass lads. Boo.

They changed the rules of their plan so…

They changed the rules of their plan so that you could only have five templates, and what that means is that when you add more templates, you can't have more. They basically changed the rule of an existing pricing plan to try and force people to upgrade, which, to me, smells like foul play.

We had to move from an old account to a new one. Their product does nto support a template import in a way that actually works. We have been trying to give a solution to this matter with their support team but they dont know what is happening. they ask for approvals they get them and still dont do anything. I have never wrote a review about a tool in my life but this customer experience is so so bad I couldnt do else. That is much more than frustrating.

Not worth your time

Not worth your time. I used love this platform. Recently, they updated their interface and added a whole lot of useless AI. The platform is now unusable-- with NO SUPPORT AVAILABLE. The only support they offer in live time is an AI chat that doesn't listen and just sends you links to articles. If you ask for a human-- GOOD LUCK! I'm on WEEK 2 of emailing "support" with no end in sight. Twelve hours go by before a response from them, but if you take too long to reply yourself THE AI CLOSES THE CASE. No one will escalate the case or address the issues. DO NO WASTE YOUR MONEY!
