Awful company. Damaged my items and have refused to compensate, hiding behind small print relating to packaging. Despicable practice. My item was crushed and there is no amount of packaging that would have prevented the amount of damage.

The system worked well and a contract was set up with UPS to collect and deliver the parcel - which they successfully did. What I didn't like was an email from Parcelhero some days later saying that there were additional UPS charges which I had to settle within 7 days. Then I received another email saying the additional charges had been paid although I had taken no action.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received. My delivery was significantly delayed without any proper communication or updates. What makes the situation worse is that when I tried to raise a complaint, it was either ignored or not accepted at all.
It feels very unprofessional that there is no proper customer support system in place to handle such issues. On top of that, despite the inconvenience and delay caused, no refund has been issued, nor has there been any effort to resolve the matter fairly.
This experience has been frustrating and has completely affected my trust in the company. I would not recommend this service to others unless they improve their delivery reliability and customer support.

I use them to ship items to customers as a small business and every time I used they, I end up getting unauthorised payments coming out of my account from these people in the form of ‘additional handling charges’.
I always ensure that I have pictures of dimensions and weights but it’s a very long process to get your money back. Customer service is very poor!
Wish there were no stars. Parcel not collected. On line help zero. No one to contact and the info address at this site was returned. No way to get your money back!

Horrible experience, parcel delayed from first day of shipping, changing dates 2 of 3 times, when parcel finally arrives got extra charge for their service. Avoid that thing at any cost!

I paid Parcelhero gbp45 to deliver some important documents to my brother in France no later than 13th March. They used UPS.
But they only delivered these documents on 17th March.
As a result, my brother could not hand over these documents to the french authorities, he had to cancel the appointment, which resulted in us losing the financial support we were in need of for our mother’s care home fees. And when I asked Parcelhero for a refund, they instead charged me more!
They are not Parcelheros but Parcelzeros. Zero interest. Zero support. Zero customer care. Zero ability to hold UPS to account.
Do not use these 2 companies.

I sent a parcel to Australia with ParcelHero / FedEx for £53 and takes weeks later ParcelHero and have taken extra money out of my account without any authority. I contacted my bank and they confirmed ParcelHero have set up a ‘subscription payment’ which allows them to take further funds without authorisation. Chargeback initiated and will never use these scammers again.

Only left one star as it doesn’t give you the option of zero. Do not use this company, sent a parcel with the exact measurements and weight, a few days later requested an additional fee, I sent an email back to ask them to explain why and they just took the money out of my bank without permission. Will never use again.

I was sending a bike to my son in Italy and checking out prices.. Parcel hero popped up immediately and i thought it was a price comparison site and that i would be sent through to my carrier of choice. I booked the service but got no information about when the carrier would collect the bike. After checking reviews i lost confidence and cancelled within 24 hours.

Undelivered parcel and a huge invoice for unproven and unsubstantiated additional costs
We sent a very small parcel (A4 envelope) to my son in Thailand for Christmas with three small deodorant stick refills, 2 second hand books we thought he would like to read as he can’t get English books that easily there and a home made scarf his grandmother made him.
The parcel never arrived. According to the tracking info It appeared to be stuck at Bangkok airport for weeks and the info given was that it was being scanned. The info didn’t indicate it was dispatched from the airport to the receiving address. The next communication I had in the new year was from ParcelHero claiming the receiver had refused the parcel. They have not provided any evidence of this.
My son never received the parcel which was addressed to him at his workplace. His workplace was closed over Christmas. For some reason transit of the parcel took longer than it was supposed to so my son’s workplace may have been closed by the time the parcel was supposedly released from Bangkok airport. I say supposedly as we have no evidence it ever left the airport.
The next comms we go from ParcelHero claimed:
The receiver had refused the parcel - we have no evidence of this and it’s also unlikely given the receiving address was closed over Christmas . My son (the named recipient) did not receive any emails about this. He did not receive any emails about missed deliveries or customs charges. Nothing.
That UPS has paid customs charges of hundreds of pounds for the parcel - what??? Why? We did not authorise this. At some point t we were asked if we would pay additional charges and told if we didn’t the parcel would be destroyed. We were told of no response from us the parcel would be destroyed. Or we could pay - guess what, hundreds of pounds to have the parcel sent back? We did not reply - assumption at this point was that the parcel would be destroyed, Disappointing but it was only.a couple of small deodorant refills, a handmade scarf and a couple of second hand books.
Next thing I know, there’s still no sign of the parcel anywhere and ParcelHero want even more money from us. For what exactly?
For losing our parcel?
No evidence (photos of missed delivery, email exchanges with the recipient etc, nothing) to substantiate any of this. The Thai delivery company apparently paid customs for the parcel - what customs for an A4 parcel with low value items in it?? And where is proof of payment of tgis customs charge? We have not seen it.
I am absolutely flabbergasted by the whole scenario. It feels like disorganised un-joined up systems at best and a scam at worst.
A couple of years ago we sent a £5k bike to Thailand and customs charges were around £100. How is a tiny package costing twice this amount in additional charges and where is the package? And where is the proof and justification of any of these charges?
Terrible, terrible experience.
