Positive experience

I was initially skeptical about buying food from Italy to Northern Norway but gave it a try.
This was a 100% positive experience.
I bought Parmigiano Reggiano and chose regular shipping. The package was delivered to my door by Posten Norge six days after ordering. They were well packed in polystyrene boxes and there was a cooling element with the goods but they had melted.
The cheese was about 16 degrees Celsius when it arrived and the shelf life was long on the product.
I am so satisfied and will shop there again.

Melted Cheese, Spoiled Salami, and No Refund

DHL left the package at a pickup point. They notified me on Friday at 2 PM, and the location closed at 3 PM and remained closed until the following Monday. When I went to collect it on Monday, the Pecorino cheese had sweated out all its fat and was hard as a rock, and the salami looked like it had been boiled. We had to throw everything away, but we didn’t take any photos — we were extremely busy these days. I requested a refund from ParmaShop, but they refused, claiming that I don’t have photographic evidence. I had purchased from them before and had no issues, but this time I did, and they are unwilling to resolve it. I will never buy anything from them again.

Are they still in business?

As a satisfied customer of many years, on their site I compiled an order of €189 entitling me to reduced shipping costs to Denmark. Yet they put on €60 in shipping. Of course I haulted the payment and sent them an email for an explanation. No answer. Two days later I send them a reminder. Still no answer.
I have now bought the goods I needed at ilcasalediparma.it instead. The site works well and the company seems to be alive.

I had many years good relationship with…

I had many years good relationship with the company and the quality of good on every occasion. Then last order I got, there was nothing visible defects in the product, I just stored the vacuum packed pieces in cold cellar. Just left two packages to my fridge and used them regularly. Yesterday I got to get the rest off the packages, I noticed one package was steadily covered with mold. There wasn't any visible hole in the package though and rest of the were good.

Then I took couple pictures and filed a claim. Then started the discussion with the customer helpdesk... Suddenly it was me who had made a mistake, not to report immediately within 14 days of something which is not visible on such a time period. One package was leaking, others were not and best before date was still clearly valid.

They offered me 5 euros coupon on next order! They claimed that 30 years of experience they know what they are doing...Yeah right sounds convincing...
I'm done with this kind of attitude.

Excellent service, quality and pricing

If you want the real stuff from Parmigiano-Reggiano, this is the place to shop. I bought Parmesan cheese and Parma ham from Parmashop and with speedy delivery this was a very good experience.

The quality of the products are second to none, and I can recommend this online shop for your Italian products.
